Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
“The most unseasoned and bland Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Shrimp lo mein and Beef and Broccoli pictures below.”
We just moved here from Florida and found Great Wall. It is the best chinese food we have ever had even better than the places in Florida.
House of China
Ordered chick wings and fry rices also tried with French fries. First the quantity on the rice and fries is embarrassing. Way too little for 12 dollars each. Rice was pre-cooked quality which is a no no cause that doesn’t even bring the real taste out. The fries were like a 3-4 but once again 1 bag of fries is 9 dollar I was served like 1.50 cents worth of it, if we talking numbers I say 23 fries in total which is terrible. Now on to the chicken wings I have a specific spot where I usually buy my Chinese food but I wanted to try this spot out wings were 1/5 I’d even give it a 0 cause wings were dry, that’s kind of acceptable if you have order as much wings as me not everyone will come out fresh but the sauce they put on it was like garlic and some other condiment that does not go with wings so I wasted about 22.50 or somewhat dollars for both orders, and I say I wouldn’t even sell it for a dollar, total disgrace to Chinese food. Score 1 out 10. And if they can’t get fires or rice or wings right I doubt the other menus will be decent in taste quality or either quantity cause they can’t fill a tray of fries which is the cheapest thing on the menu lol, what I had to make in my own house cause that food was gross. Simple mash potatoes with fried rice and eggs with ham and onions
This was my first time ever trying house of China and I am so surprised the absolute best Chinese food and a long time. Give it a try. The food was moist juicy. It was just absolute delicious. You will not regret it.
Ever Spring
I ordered shrimp egg foo yung and was not pleased by the taste. It tasted like black licorice. I was also very disappointed in the pork fried rice. The pieces of pork were so small I barely even notice that I had pork in the fried rice. It's almost like they took the whole traditional cubes of pork and cut them in thirds and distributed amongst the rice. You can't cut back on your portion and raise your prices. That's insane. It's not even a normal order of pork fried rice.
I was excited to try this spot, but I was really disappointed to see that staff didn’t use gloves. Or just washing there hands in between would have made a big difference. The same person handling money also went into the freezer and handled food with bare hands before frying. I understand heat kills germs, but it’s still a major health risk and made me lose my appetite. Just want others to be aware. This is the only reason why I won’t be returning here. I tried the crab wontons and was really impressed with the presentation! They’re shaped like little flowers instead of the usual triangles, which makes them super cute and visually appealing. Because of the shape, there’s a bit less filling than I’m used to (especially compared to places like House of China), but they still had really great flavor—just slightly on the sweeter side. I ordered the chicken egg foo young as well. The gravy had a bit of an odd taste at first, but adding a little soy sauce, granulated garlic, and granulated onion brought it together nicely.
Oriental Wok Dundalk
The food was terrible. The rice was unexplainable I've never seen anything like it and it could not be identified, mushy and tasteless. The beef was Gray and looked old. My wife said the shrimp overcooked. My daughter's chicken tasted doughy and soft. Family dinner was ruined. We called to let them know and they offered us 10% off our next meal. Why would we ever come back? I just wanted to let them know something is terribly wrong with the food. I would not recommend this take out to anyone.
This has been my favorite Chinese food spot since I was a little kid my dad used to take me there now that I'm adult I still go there all the time and I get my favorite general tso and pork egg rolls from there. The inside isn't too accommodating it's just a front counter and I think maybe one table if you want to sit for a couple pretty hot on the air conditioned or it's just that the woks cooking in the back are so hot they heat up the whole place. I still recommend this place for any Chinese food dishes it's my go-to.
