No. 1 China
This place used to be good. The egg rolls I ordered today were definitely reheated in a microwave or airfryer. They were extremely chewy and both ends of the egg rolls were hard as a rock. The soup was just ok and the Generals chicken was really spicy. Big disappointment today.
Last night I ordered the Hot Pepper Chicken, it has jalapeño, red chili etc. It was the best chicken dish I have ever had. The chicken was truly delicious, and the perfect texture, the sauce was was spicy, but I tasted a touch of sugar, it was nicely balanced.
Lin's Garden
I purchased the general tso chicken With rice. The portions were excellent and the flavors were on point. I highly recommend, They did not disappoint!
Food was good and fresh!! It’s so hard finding good Chinese food these days so they just turned into my new favorite spot lol
King Garden
The best Chinese food around the hood u can tell the oil they cook in is clean especially when they cook their wings. The rice is very good too. They have the best shrimp and spring rolls. They just are more pricey than your average Chinese spots.
I absolutely loved this place! And the young girl in the front is sweet and the cakes are to live for. The sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice is 5 stars and the bone less rib tips are 5stars. The chef is a lovely young man who deserve a raise because he flicks that rice in the air like a magician. I moved her 6 months ago, and this was my second foreign food I've eaten since moving here. My first Chinese food was from emeral st and Ontario st. The food from there made me so sick that I ordered from somewhere else and when I did, I found this place and it was the best treasure I ever found!. Thanks for yall good work. I'll always support small sweet foreign businesses
Super Garden
Never got sick never been disturbed lol the food is good and hot but keep in mind I only always get wings and shrimp and broccoli with garlic sauce but either way it's good yall for them 2 items I'm not sure about any others
Very good food, nice and clean place. Friendly nice people working there. I have been a customer for 15 years, I move to another area but still come back here, is the only Chinese food place that I like.
New China Chinese & American Food
Typical Corner Store Chinese Food Nothing Fancy Or Special. Pork Fried Rice 7/10 Not The Best I Had, But Definitely Not The Worst. The Rice Lacked Pork & MSG Chicken Wings 8.8/10 They Were Delicious.
They refried the fried chicken. Shrimp rice was skimpy, will not be going back here
Fine Garden Restaurant
Clean fresh food, plus a clean cook/chef. I asked for my broccoli to be steamed 10-15 minutes soft and they cook my broccoli soft/ perfect, not hard or crunchy and fix my food perfect cooked, they have Good / the best Wings. Food cooked the way I wanted and perfect. No bad attitude. My first impression clean people, good food and It look like they clean their waiting / order room. My New place to go to besides a block up Frankford Ave, young people snooby funny acting like are black kids rubbed off on her at the Chinese store a block away and cook food to their liking/ way they want, I will definitely order here again, thou. Love this place
I stay up the street from this place & I didn’t really go here because I heard other places was better but NOPE.. they food is the best! I had to leave a review cause I don’t think they get appreciated enough 😂 my go to is spicy beef lo mien. They never disappoint 😂💕, I love it
Sun Wah Restaurant
Their food is consistently good , I had their orange chicken today it was impeccable! Huge portion with real orange slices in the sauce.Their cheese steak rolls are delicious! I order from them all the time
Hubby and I couldn't decide what we wanted for lunch and chose Sun Wah. Worst choice ever. Was not even worth taking back, since we will never return. Our shrimp Egg Foo Young was slop in a box. No shape to the patties. The rice was over cooked and stuck together like old grits. And..the gravy, well I won't say what it looked like. Use your imagination. It was awful. Never again. I try to spend wisely. I just gave away $22.
China Moon
I really like their wings! The wonton soup was delicious and the house fried rice was ok. Egg rolls are yummy! I would recommend.
Great food, great service and delicious, food delivered hot, courteous delivery. Just not a fan of carrots and peas with the pork fried rice, I will definitely order again requesting no peas and carrots with the pork fried rice.
New shing
New to the area and had to leave my chinese spot behind so I was hesitant to try this place. Immediately heard something good about the rice, then someone praised the wings. Both before I tried. It’s a Chinese store in North Philly. Expecting it to be spotless is bogus. Store is fine. Doesn’t smell weird. It’s solid really. I saw people complained about rudeness or something but I ain’t seen it. Dude is hella cool. Started with ordering White rice/ Pork Fried Rice platters w/ plain wings. Nothin on em…. Mannnn 😮💨. They Was good on it’s own. I did try with salt and pepper and it was over seasoned. But save yourself the sodium. They don’t need nothing on em. Cheese steak roll is pretty solid. Not shrimpy like some places be. Same with the Egg roll. Spicy General Tso’s, I dunno how to explain it but them jawns hit different. Mind you my fiancée doesn’t eat general Tso’s all like that. Even she wanted a platter of her own. Placed about 5 orders over two months, paid more than $40 one time (Family of 4.) They ain’t miss. Save yourself on delivery fees and up charges, get some fresh air and pick up a platter.
I lived around the corner for 16 years and have had several bad experiences. Give them a shot every few years cause they r so close but never fails ether burnt food bugs in the food or really wierd meat like all jokes aside they might do the rat thing....please do us all a solid and leave the area. Let someone who cares own a business there or just treat it the way you treat your store over by Wilson's beef .I don't understand how you own both but have totally different standards when it comes to quality of food and the cleanliness of your store ...have some self pride your Frankford Ave store is a embarrassment
King Food Restaurant
I've been ordering from this place for at least a year now Never had a problem until today. Spend 35 dollars for me and the family got home to eat my chicken wing platter and the wings were dry as hell and under the wings was a jet black hair and it ruined my whole appetite. I tried to call just to let them know. I didn't want anything back or a new platter But as I was letting the man know He hung up on me. So even though it wont effect them I still will be finding a new Chinese Restaurant to eat from. Besides their kitchen is dirty as hell so now wonder I found a hair.
Wanted to try a new place and landed on this restaurant. Ordered fried shrimp with shrimp fried rice and it was delicious. I love all the extra onions and bean spouts. Rice is a little light for my liking but it was good. So good that I ordered from there again the next day. This time it wasn't so good hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered amazing chicken, now I have never ordered it before but wanted to try something new. I selected spicy (they give you a spicy option) and it just taste like chicken and broccoli with no sauce or spice. No for me on that dish but I would order the original meal again. Shrimp roll was ok.
Hunan Star Restaurant
Delivery is always right on time. Food is great. Crab Rangoon is by far the best in the area. Polite staff, clean interior. 100% My go to for takeout.
First time ordering and it was really good! The shrimp were plump, and bean sprouts in the rice. Very clean inside and the service was good. Would definitely come back and try their other items.
Panda Chinese Restaurant
One combo platter with one tiny piece of pork in white rice lightly flavored and maybe 5 pieces in my other combo platter. I put them on top so everyone can count the pieces. The other pieces to the right are BBQ ribs and there's no other pieces in the entire side of white rice with turmeric. The rice also has barely any onions and sprouts. Basically, they faked pork fried rice. The pork in the rice seems old and dry. Both General Tso's and Boneless BBQ ribs are not so good. It's like they used as little ingredients as possible to stretch their supply. This place used to be good. I wasted $27 they should be ashamed of themselves. What a disappointment. I was happy I was close to order from here and walking home because I used to order food from here in the past. Times change. I never ever complain and give any restaurant a chance to fix an abait and switch deal. What a rip-off! Don't even bother responding to my review Panda. You know what you did, and I'm sorry you're doing this to your customers. I suggest people check your orders before you leave if you want to take a chance with this place. Please don't do this to other customers. If your can't do you job, shut down. 😒
They delivered the wrong meat. I asked for popcorn chicken with cheese and got some chewy chicken strips in a pool of cheese. This platter was $15.45.
