Four Seasons
We just happened to stumble upon this cozy little restaurant on a vacation weekend to Port Townsend about 2 years ago and now we take pilgrimages from around Olympia every few months just to order food here. That’s right, no other purpose, just drive 2 hours to get this food. We bring a cooler so we can take it all the way home and freeze portions to eat when we’re just craving amazing Chinese food. The chicken dishes are sooooo crispy and seasoned to perfection. The flavor of their rice is just as perfect as well. The service is awesome. Very kind and personable people. The portion sizes are more than large enough for anyone. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy and warm. At a risk of sounding cheeky, I challenge you to do yourself and your palate a flavor and take your own journey to Port Townsend to experience this hidden gem of the PNW. ***The picture I put on here was after the food had traveled a long distance in a cooler as I’m standing over it and trying to not eat it all.
The best Chinese food that I've eaten in a long while. In addition, the environment is welcoming, and the staff are all family members who make you feel at home the second you enter the restaurant. Four Seasons is a must-eat dining experience, and easily the best Chinese food in Port Townsend and beyond. Highly recommended!
Pizza Shop
I loved this place.. am I wrong? Had an opportunity to finally stop in and grab a bite with my family. I loved every single pepper, mushroom, and red onion on our pizza. It was absolutely delish! So much so, that’s why there’s only half left on the final photo. My son enjoyed his boneless BBQ wings as well. I’m unsure how this place could receive a bad review.. however, that wasn’t our experience and we’re definitely planning to come back!
This place has awesome pizza, killer garlic knots! They always have fresh cookies and baked goods to top off your already delicious meal. They also carve ice cream, but not any ice cream, Jane’s Ice cream! They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor vie is nice, indoor is small but is just fine. I 100% recommend the pizza!
Lucky Garden
EDIT: UPDATE TO FIVE STARS I just left LG after making a mistake with my order and not having enough cash on me. They spotted me the $2, didn’t make me feel bad about it, and then explained how to order it the way I wanted in the future. This type of service more than makes up for the lack of refills the first time. I’m having one of the worst months of my life and this small act of kindness meant the world to me. I am now a loyal customer thru thick and thin, and I’ll bring you the $$ asap. Good food. Fresh buffet. Service was slow on a slow lunch. Had to wait for refills to drinks quite a bit but it’s a nice local Asian eatery and I would go back!
Seriously the best of the best American Chinese food. The egg rolls are handmade every day. Super fresh and just soooo good! A must see in Maine. Defintley worth the trip!
3 Times
We got there when they opened and sat at the their largest table (can seat up to 5-6). They bought us water, and the menus very quickly. Once we ordered it did not take long before our food arrived. Our food was so good! We loved our food and would go back again in the future. Very clean restaurant. Great portions.
If you're near the financial district and craving tasty, hassle-free soup dumplings, head to the intersection of Water St and Pearl St. I also enjoyed their beef soup and egg rolls. The exceptionally friendly and sincere service enhanced the experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
Thai at the Palace
Really great restaurant in the downtown area. Parking was easy and right across the street. The building is historic and features Art deco design and original booths, bar and fixtures. The food is all made to order. I’ve only been there one time so far so I have not experienced that many items on the menu. The service is to order as well Our server spent a lot of time helping us decide on our dinner. The food was excellent. We will be back.
First visit to a well run, wonderful staff, tasty restaurant. Selections are varied. The sauces well flavored and not too hot. (Although the chef can flavour as hot as they make in Bangkok) The calamari is made just the way I like, not rings. Everything is made fresh to order, amazing when I felt we did not wait as long as one might expect. The owners have the tining just right, not rushed, not too slow. The ambiance is wonderful in this old 1932 shop that was a hardware store before a sweet shop. The old wood remains, the art collection engaging. First of many visits here. Love the mango sticky rice for desert.
Alfredo's Deli
Not from the area but wanted a warm sandwich. This place did not disappoint! Highly recommend if you’re not from the area. Fast service, smiles on all their faces. Amazed at how many orders they did while I sat here and ate. Definitely fair prices for what you get. My sandwich was huge! :) Thank you!!!
Another Torrington eatery new to me due to the events I've attended recently at a nearby brewery. The catered wrap trays which included turkey, tuna, roast beef or ham were all delicious. Nice presentation with tri-colored tortillas - regular flour, spinach and tomato. This deli has a large menu of hot Italian dishes, as well.
wagamama tampa
We ordered an appetizer but it was delivered to the wrong table and our entrees came already so we decided to cancel the appetizer but they gave us the appetizer anyway on the house. I thought that was nice. The bang bang cauliflower was spicy hot ! Our server was good.
3.5 ⭐️ I have been meaning to visit this place since it has opened! Food was good but nothing I would go out of my way to seek out. But if I were to visit again I would probably just order something different. I ordered chicken katsu, this was good. My partner ordered ramen and it wasn’t special but the meat was tender and good! Broth flavor is what was lacking. Bao buns were GREAT and Bang Bang cauliflower was good but too spicy for my taste.
The Rogue Panda
Rogue Panda in Time Out Market Brooklyn is a bustling spot, especially on a Sunday afternoon around lunchtime! Be prepared for the crowds and a potential 20-30 minute wait, with lines forming at almost every stall (and even the restrooms!). While the egg fried rice with chicken I ordered was decent – served hot and a good portion – I've definitely had better. However, Rogue Panda is a solid option for a quick bite while showing friends around the city. Plus, you can't beat the incredible views from Time Out Market! My tip? Try visiting on a weekday for a more relaxed experience and to better enjoy the food and ambiance.
Time Out Market was extremely crowded during the weekends. Tried The Rogue Panda on the 5th floor and the food was quite nice. Tried the dan dan noodles, mapo tofu, pork dumplings and shiitake truffle fried rice. The pork dumplings were excellent and I love the firm texture of the dan dan noodle.
Cheng's China House
I ordered take-out so can’t comment on the atmosphere. But I was very disappointed in my meal. The chicken was slimy and had no flavor. I ended up eating just a bit of the fried rice and the egg roll and threw the rest away. The vegetables looked like long strips of kale & long chunks of onion. I will never order food from there again.
-- DO NOT GO HERE -- Do yourself a favor, go to a different place. First things first, the food is incredibly overpriced for the small portion you get, the food is definitely processed food that was not cooked right, and all 3 members of my family got food poisoning from their food. The whole atmosphere of the restaurant is gross and the little kid working the front didn't ask anything, just asked for my name for the food and then just stuck his hand out, not asking if I want sauces, or anything of that nature. Overall one of the worst expireances for getting food. I can't emphasize enough how bad the food is, do not go here!
Golden House Restaurant
I usually won’t write a bad review based on food alone, because food is pretty subjective...but the food and sauces were pretty bad, and that combined with the fact that we only tried this place based on the high ratings makes me feel compelled to add my own. The crab rangoon were better size than I expected based on the cheap price but they tasted terrible. The beef and other dishes were severely lacking in flavor. Teriyaki beef had no teriyaki taste at all. The scallion pancakes and house special rice were the only semi enjoyable items we got-but the pancakes came with some horrible sauce that I cannot even describe-definitely not the standard soy scallion ginger deliciousness that they usually come with! I’d be scared to try anything else from here unfortunately.
First time ordering here, never again! I was told 25 min, I arrived 30 min later and waited almost 10 more min for the food. Mind you the place was dead on a Friday night so that says something there. SO I thought if the food is good no big deal it will be worth the wait. Well that was not the case at all! The crab Rangoon has only cream cheese in it and nothing else. The General Gau's Chicken was battered and had no flavor. The rice was bland and also had no flavor. The egg roll was over cooked and the duck sauce was bland too! The only thing that was ok was the chicken wings and the prices are really cheap which is the only reason I gave two stars. Personally I got what I paid for and honestly looking around while I waited the place is so dirty and poorly kept it should be just shut down.
Szechuan Taste
This review is for the Sunday buffet only and not ordering off the full menu, although I can’t imagine it being any different as far as a total lack of taste and flavor is concerned. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Limited offerings, some 13 trays. Hot and Sour soup was hot, but no heat nor use of vinegar. Spring roll was lame. Coral Shrimp & General Tso’s chicken were the winners. All the rest had no spice, herbs or flavorings. Ever hear of ginger, garlic, oyster sauce, Five spice? Staff were pleasant, good in removing empty plates and filling of food trays. Sadly, will never return. Darn it.
The food was ok about 6/10. Not really an authentic Schezuan restaurant. I read the reviews for coming there and it was 4.5 so it was very misleading when we got there I was expecting a bit more quality and more authenticity in terms of the dishes and all we got was sort of this blah Chinese food. The Dan Dan noodles had no Schezuan peppercorn and the green beans are supposed to be dry and they’re drenched in some sauce. So it’s not authentic Chinese at all. Not bad but not great.
Sun Sun
Sun Sun As a new home owner in Randolph, Sun Sun was a very pleasent surprise. GOOD: Price, portion, quality - all there BAD: Nothing much, orange chicken needs more crunch Sun Sun was a great choice. I ordered the dinner combo (orange chicken, crab ragoon and a pork egg roll) Pairing appetizers and entrees is a genius idea, more take out should do it. The huge platter portion for just over 15 bucks will last me 3 or 4 meals (see pics). My one small snag, is a snag that bites many takeout Chinese places - whether it's sesame, general tsos or orange chicken - not fried enough. The under fry didn't ruin my experience. I loved the food, I will just request "extra crispy." Sun Sun is worth a try - order hungry.
Quiet calm atmosphere. Never been here before and am very surprised with the quality and portion sizes!! Thank you!! Fried Dumplings Ho yu Gai Poo LG Sesame chicken LG ... THATS ALL ...ALL THIS FOOD 🤩
