Ming Garden Restaurant
Well called to order, the lady said we are out of this, so I said I would find something else but she was not happy because I was taking too long to find something else and said I should be ready when I call..exact words OK so I let that go even know your the one without main dishes on the menu. So order food. Get there everything is there... but every dish is pounded with celery and low cost vegetables..to cut costs. I get it prolly not doing well, but to have 4 to 5 small peices of meat in a whole entree with enough vegetables to feed a horse. The soup was all vegetables and no flavor at all. This place has deteriorated and is no longer the same. I wouldn't recommend going here unless your a vegetarian and want a crummy attitude. And people that are unhappy cooking your food are not the ones you want preparing them.
Nasty, dirty and disgusting, not sure why they are still in business. If your entrance and dining area are this disgusting, I can only imagine what your kitchen looks like. You wanna stay in business? You better clean that nasty up! Don’t bother risking your health eating here, I filed an official complaint with the health department as well. Hopefully it’s bye bye nasty dirty people. Shame on you!
Panda Garden
We stopped in here for takeout while on the way home. Very unassuming from the outside. The staff was friendly and the food was ready in about 10 minutes as promised. Not as expensive for combination plates as sone other places have been recently. Overall the food was good. The dumplings were amazing. I would go back just for them. I also liked how the chicken was cut into smaller pieces for the General Tso. It allows for more of the sauce to seep into the chicken. Will definitely be getting food here again.
THE BEST Chinese anywhere in the area. We have tried place after place until we hit on this one. Consistently excellent food, friendly staff, awesome portions. This is our go-to spot.
House of Yoshida
Amazing experience! The food is delicious, sashimi was so fresh, and the eel risotto was out of this world! Thank you to the staff!
Having lived in Japan for the past 7 years, finding good and authentic Japanese food here has been a mission. Most places I take a look at the menu and that’s enough for me, it doesn’t resemble Japanese food at all. Until I drove past this place. The name was a give away as it didn’t have a generic tacky Japanese name, and further research taught me that this place was Japanese owned. First thing I noticed upon entering was that there were Japanese people eating here, a good sign for me. The waiter Shun-San is a Tokyo native and it was a good chance to speak some Japanese. The menu was decent and the sushi not too bad. The tempura was fantastic. I’d say it’s adapted somewhat for the local palette but if I want Japanese food, this is where I will go to get my fix, and it’s the only place you should go too if you want close to authentic Japanese food. I didn’t try the ramen dishes which I will next time, and they have sake too.
Jacqueline's
Came here for brunch one afternoon, had our dogs out right in front with us and they brought dog bowl water. Quick, good service, cute town. Had good food here and would definitely return!
I went there today for my first time, definitely worth the experience! Staff is very friendly. Their menu has a lot of different options, food is delicious and it didn’t take long at all. Also their prices are very affordable. Very nice place to bring your family or go on a coffee date.
Sprouts
This Viet restaurant has lots of vegetarian and Vegan food and I was able to enjoy their Tofu BangMi. If you are in I84 near Danbury you must try. Well maintained place and very near to interstate. Very clean and everything freshly made for each order.
Consistently delicious. One of Bethels hidden gems. Little to no advertising and the humble Vietnamese restaurant is almost at capacity on a warm Tuesday afternoon. Food is prepared and served quickly, all is delicious. The mango sticky rice is a confusing delight. Picking food up or dining in, can't go wrong with this spot.
Fuji J Asian Bistro-Sushi Bar
Good, but not high quality ingredients. The place is nice & cozy, but the service wasn’t as good / fast as expected. However, unfortunately, this area of Connecticut doesn’t seem to be known for good Sushi, so it seems like this place might be the best option for those craving some fresh rolls 👍 Just not my favorite, but I’d gladly recommend for others to try.
The owners do an amazing job running the kitchen and sushi bar. There are huge amounts of take-out orders but the wait times are always quick ! The consistency and quality of the food makes this the best sushi place in the whole area ! I highly recommend you try J Fuji !
Sycamore Drive-In
Classical diner experience from 50s 60s with great comfort food. Their old style burgers are delicious. Whenever I go there, I can't help myself ordering another one, then another one. Also they make their own root beer, which is delicious.
We were excited to try it here. When we saw the menu we were shocked to see there was no kids section, for a family diner we found that odd. The waiter did not know how to answer questions about the food on the menu. The “large” sweet potato fries looked like they were a small and served on a very small plate. The “streak burger” was as thin as two sheets of paper at best. Not a thrilling experience and will not be going back. Don’t recommend.
Putnam House Restaurant & Tap Room
This was my second visit and it was just as good as the first ! I order the chicago soup again it seasoned well and nice and hot . I like the atmosphere and the service is always pleasant the ceasar salad was also good. My grandmother had the broccoli cheddar soup, I tasted it also very delicious . If your a soup person this is your place .
Original atmosphere and aesthetics kept, the service and drinks on tap were great but everything came out burnt to a crisp even after the apps came out burnt and i mentioned in a very polite manner, "hey are food is a little burnt" they burnt it again and my medium rare steak tasted like leather hard to chew and was charred. the bacon was burnt to a crisp. great place, great atmosphere. below subpar food quality. Don't do a birthday here.
Kowloon Village
Was very busy on a Saturday night. We were able to be seated right away, though. The fried steam dumplings are amazing, especially the ginger sauce. Will definitely be coming back. Prices are very fair, too
Ate here after skiing. They told us the wait would be a while so we waited and waited and....waited. Food took almost an hour and a half. Didn't get water or serving spoons with the dishes. Ordered sezchuan shrimp and the sauce was sickeningly sweet and vegetables were soggy. Also ordered salt and pepper chicken which was worse than frozen chicken nuggets with a little salt sprinkled on it. When I told the waitress it was terrible, she said "oh really? Well no one really orders it." We were so hungry so we ate but so dissatisfied. Will not return. Would give 0 stars but couldn't.
Burger King
This burger King is so good! It's a great choice is a quick, great meal. They have a good variety of food and dessert options, including the iconic whopper. The service is quick and fast, they also have a drive through for convince! Love this place!!!😁🤩🍟🍔🍔🍔
I love this place!!! The burgers are my favorite thing ever to eat I can't ever find any burger place that tops the burgers at burger king! The food is immaculate and the customer service is amazing! Would definitely come here more often😁
Asian Kitchen
Went there last night with my son and wife. (Wife is celiac). Extremely knowledgeable staff almost everything on the menu could be made gluten-free delicious dinner. Wife did not get sick. Had no issues whatsoever. Definitely will go back.
Asian kitchen has the best Chinese food around here. You may pay a little more but it’s definitely worth it. The quality is a lot better than other places. They also have pho soup that is pretty good. I’ve never had a bad experience. Their customer service is excellent and they always throw in something extra like lemonade or mochi.
Bethel Chinese Kitchen
This place is very clean, the food is delicious, and the boss is very nice. I hope he gets rich.
I ordered the pork fried rice and boneless pork ribs and they were both very good, only waited about 10 minutes for them to make my order, the service was great and polite, place was very clean with a couple of tables for anyone who wanted to eat in.
