I can't believe I have lived in Metairie area my entire life and ate here for the first time last week! This place is amazing all around! We went on a Sunday night and there was a 25 minute wait and now I know why. Once seated, Mary our server greeted us. I told her that I had to follow a gluten free diet then she proceeded to point out numerous dishes that are GF and could be made GF (even though the menu had most things already marked GF). The eggdrop soup was my app, delicious. Vegetable fried rice, perfect! And curry chicken in a delicious sauce with veggies, wow! Mary gave me additional sauces that were all GF. The portions are large, so you can definitely split dishes with someone else. I highly recommend this restaurant! Can't wait to go again! Oh, and the atmosphere was dark, but not too dark and really interesting to look at!
Ate dinner there 3/26/25. I hadn't eaten there in a few years, living in another state. It's a pale shadow of its former self if what we ate is an indicator of current quality. Service and facility is great. The food is very average. Actually, it was came out really fast after ordering which is fine. But it was not hot (warm) and overcooked. Five of us eating ordered four entrees and fried rice. Food was already done and refried, sauces added after. Not freshly cooked as had been in the past. Flavor was ok, especially fried rice. But not anything I couldn't have gotten anywhere else. Please y'all, tighten up.
