I have been craving shrimp and broccoli for the past couple of days. I don't like trying too many places for Chinese food. And I am very picky. But I must say, my food was delicious and fresh. The shrimp was huge. As well as the portion size. I didn't get the eggroll, I did get the stuff wonton. They were 2 big pieces. The price was amazing for the lunch special I paid $8. It also came with fried rice. I got the chicken fried rice instead of pork. I will recommend this place. It's a great takeout place. Maybe have a dinner night or even lunch date at home with friends or lover. All while not breaking the bank.

Was enjoying food until I found hair in it , terrible they wear hats and not nets !

The food is always delivered quickly and comes piping hot. The portions are good sized and the food is always delicious. We've ordered from here numerous times and everything has been spot on every single time. One of our favorites!

I've lived in the area for almost 10 years and didn't want to get food from my regular Chinese restaurant and didn't want to drive to my 2nd choice. So, I searched my area and found Chong Qing. The food was great! I ordered something simple to try it out (pint of shrimp fried rice and veggie rolls). It was quick, exactly as I ordered it and GOOD! I like a darker fried rice and theirs was perfect. There were only 2 cons. I spoke and said thank you many times and wasn't acknowledged (there was no language barrier) the other was the portion size, cost ratio was was slightly more than what I normally get and pay for. Overall, I'll be going back!.. soon.

Is very rude woman behind the counter. I came in and started looking at the menu. When I turn the menu over, She started Yelling at me, " NO Lunch today, NO lunch today". Confused I asked "are you closed"? She replied, "we open!" Now I am very confused. I point to the LUNCH SPECIALS and she said NO, I pointed to regular menu she said yes, So I think it was a language barrier and she was trying to tell me there was no lunch SPECIALS on SUNDAYS. I ordered pork lo mein. I got plain lo mein. Unfortunately I threw away my receipt so I don't know if I paid for a plain or a pork Lo mein. As soon as i pay, she goes in back and starts yelling to the staff in the kitchen. Next, the guy comes out and starts looking at me like I'm the problem. Not sure if i want to eat the food because there was a lot of hostility toward me. Wow, no wonder the place is empty.

Today was my first time eating from here. My food arrived to me nice and piping hot😄, which I loved. The honey chicken was exactly how and what I expected. It was very delicious. The only thing I wish they gave me shrimp fried rice instead of pork like I had asked. Otherwise, pretty decent food.

Traveling for business / looking for good takeout near MSY. Ordered Generals Chicken off Chef’s Specials. Added pork egg roll. Good sized portion / more than I expected. Chicken and sauce were good / flavorful. Nothing much in the way of veggies (eg just a few small onions). White rice was middle of the road / good. Egg roll was hot, and same as you’ll find from freezer section in big-box store. Ordering by phone was easy and friendly. Food was ready earlier than advised (+). Good all around ordering, pick-up experience. Pricing was as you’d expect. Solid offering and would do again when back in area. August 2024

I will say it's pretty fresh... Or re dip. The chicken was way to hard (most of it in the trash) and then I look into and no wonder why. I ask for sauce on the side b/c everyone orange chicken isn't the same. The orange chicken was more "spicy" than orange. The rice was bomb tho !

This place may seem packed at times, but I swear the ladies there do an amazing job keeping the line flowing smoothly. It's always a quick stop here. Now as for the food; its always delicious! You want a place to spend your hard earned money? Come here. It's always a treat, never a disappointment.

The older lady in the front was really rude. Personally I couldn’t understand her, I was telling her what I wanted but I didn’t understand what she was trying to say back to me and she began to get very irritated. So I talked to the younger lady to finish ordering because she spoke a little bit better English.
