The reason for the 1 star is strictly because of how we were treated by the hosted. Otherwise it definitely would have gotten ⭐⭐⭐⭐4 stars...me and my husband was guided to the farther side of the restaurant. What I quickly noticed was all the blacks was on one side and the whites was on the other side. She realized I noticed the difference, then asked would I rather sit on the other side (the white side). I said yes! The ONLY reason we stayed was to see how she placed others when they came inside. Do better people...segregation been over! Blacks pay to eat just like everyone else.

Great experience as the food was fresh, crisp, and delicious 😋 👌. The staff were friendly but didn't speak English. No liquor!

I grew up going here and had to go back on a recent trip home, it was such a pleasant surprise to see the bright and airy remodel, it looks so good! I've always been a fan of their food, the perfect crispy and sweet deep fried goodness you can't help but love. They've also added some new things to the menu too! We got the family style dinner special and it was even better than I remembered.

What a wonderful surprise! This restaurant was recommended by a family member, and we ended up making a reservation for our group of 12 for a birthday dinner. The service was outstanding from the first phone call all the way through to our server wrapping up our leftovers for us. The food was outstanding, generous portions, fresh beautiful vegetables, wonderful flavors. I would absolutely recommend them and hope to visit again next time we’re in the area!
