China A Go Go (S Highlands)

200reviews

First time at a China A Go Go. This one seems good enough! I went twice in two days. =) It was super-clean inside. As soon as someone left, a worker would clean-up their table. Also, some of the "workers" seemed to be kids in the family. I'm used to that in Asian restaurants, and I think it's good. Mom and pop FTW. I ordered first mapo tofu, which in this case is not totally veggie, but the fine print mentions pork. I could've asked them to leave it out. Plenty of white rice was included. The next day, I ordered a lunch special. Way more affordable than the strip, and I feel like my money helps a family (mostly). I also met another customer who said he's known the owners for 20 years and goes to this China A Go Go even though he lives across town. Good sign! They have a soda machine; a drink is $2 w/refills. Last, but not least, this is right next door to a great dessert place, Pineapple Park. That place has really great, affordable desserts, including dole whip soft serve (and in other flavors!), and Thrifty ice cream. Mmmm...

The food was possibly the worst Chinese-style cuisine I have had, and I have even eaten at some sketchy places in China. The food had bland flavors. Got the General Tso's chicken which is a pretty standard dish for Chinese-American places, and it was not good. If I wasn't so hungry, I would have thrown it all away. I also got the Mongolian beef which was not as bad, but not very good either. At least it tasted similar to Mongolian Beef. The egg drop soup was decent, and the potstickers were okay. But Panda Express is a much better option in this area, and most people would scoff at that being the standard. Need a better Chinese option in Southern Highlands area.

The service was mediocre at best. Food was extremely flavorless and bland. Rice was basic, Mongolian Beef was NOT hot. Even after they gave me their "hottest sauce," it still couldn't even be considered warm. EXTREMELY overpriced. Not worth it at all. Panda Express would have been cheaper and better by far.

This place was just voted Best of Las Vegas for Chinese food December, 2024. We’ve been to many mediocre Asian food restaurants in Vegas. Those who voted for this place were right! It’s inside Silverton Casino. We’ll be back. 😊💯

Always loved Panda Express but it seems to be getting worst. Portions are getting smaller and the taste is getting oily. Make sure you chew your food and watch out for small wooden object

Great place. Eat here Often. Friendly staff too. Only complaint is they always ask if you want to sign up for their rewards and then ask if to want to round up to donate. Super annoying. I just want my food, I don't want to go through all these extra steps. That's only reason 4 and not 5 stars

Great place for a quick bite. Stopped in while in town and you know what you get at each and every panda express. Had just finished a 4 hour drive and this hit the spot. Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Would definitely stop by again. Great location at the outlet mall for sure.

Convenient location. It’s just outside the little outlet. The food is delicious but the portion is not generous. Selection is not as good as other Pandas. The portion is like 2/3 of most others. The server is sweet and patient. The inside is very coral. Somebody is wiping down the place all the time. Outside seating is amazing. Will return.

I can hear 12/8/24 12:45pm. Delia the manager of all people! So went in here and got a big plate 2 entrees and a side. I asked for fresh orange chicken. So I paid for my food and when I got my plate and got home this girl still gave me the old orange chicken that I said I didn’t want! Horrible customer service and of all people the manager Delia still have me the orange chicken I will never ever come back here again nor will I ever recommend to my friends or family. Maybe reconsider who you put as manager Delia is not trust worthy

858 pm, closes at 9 . Refused to make anything fresh . Only had old yuk in pans no one wants, no thanks. I guess give up on panda if that's how it works. Clearly nothing else to do! No customers, don't wonder why. Quality's has really gone in the dumps

The service is good but they already serve little not as it usually is panda express the rice no longer has the same quality it is a cheaper rice lacking flavor or lack of ingredients.

Clean and nice environment, amazing staff. Love the shrimp and chicken with orange.

My kids and I really enjoyed our food. We made a reservation walk in our gable was ready We had our drinks right away. The food was not s long delay. The restroom is off the casinos floor but wasn't smoky inside. The food had good flavor. I was able to charge to my room

Very pleasantly surprised. Service was attentive and a high level of effort. Food was very good, large portions - we had the Laksa and Wonton Noodle Soup. Dumplings tasted homemade, and the shrimp was nice. I'm surprised the reviews aren't better - we liked it and would go back.

CHINA A GO GO

This place is perfect for simple, to the point, chinese takeout. I've ordered from almost every chinese restaurant in a 10 mile radius, and keep coming back to this one. Their service is quick, online ordering is super easy, they're well priced given how large the portions are. I usually end up ordering an extra rice serving because you can feed 2 people with a regular $12 order. I've seen the one-star reviews on this place and some of them are kinda ridiculous. Someone said the food was great but because their fortune cookie didn't have a fortune, they rated this place 1 star? Get a grip. Look. I don't know what other people's expectations of a takeout place like this are, but mine are pretty low. The only, and I mean ONLY thing I care about when ordering takeout is that it's cheap and it hits the spot. I don't care about anything else and this place is THE perfect place for me. ETA: just to add, this is the size of a single order of sweet and sour chicken:

We are regulars here and always order take out. Tonight we ordered our usual and the food quality seemed poor. The main entrees were cold and the rice was hard. We decided to call and let them know about our experience and we were told that it wasn’t their problem. They said the food was made fresh and asked us what time we ate the food. They argued with us as if we were lying instead of trying to rectify the situation. Sadly, we won’t be ordering from here in the future.

Pan Asian Express - Mandalay Bay

Food was enticing but subpar compared to bigger named chains. Made our stomachs hurt a little bit the next day portion size was a medium effort.

Busy food court restaurant that will prepare fresh menu items for you while you wait if it’s not in the case. Kung pao chicken was a little too saucy for me, mixed veggies were prepped fresh and pork dumplings were good. Gave me complimentary Rangoon crab but I couldn’t eat them because they’re made with cream cheese (cant eat dairy) Portion was substantial for me, paid $25.

The LoMein was cheap and gluey, won-tons we're small and stale, and beef +vegetables were cold. Not great...

Two stars because all of the food was served cold. Nothing was hot not even warm. The noodles the veggies are as bland as can be. The veggie spring rolls are okay though. I was really hungry and the food is cheap. LoMein, extra Vegies and two veggie spring rolls for $7.

Ordered some take out. Arrived on time! Crispy beef was as good as all the reviews! Spicy wonton soup and the noodles were good to!

There was a nasty smell in waiting area. We ordered take out. Our food had been sitting on the counter for a good 10 minutes until he figured out it was ours. The food was cold when we got home. We only live under a mile from the location. We had the beef and broccoli. There was only 5 thinly thin slices of beef. And a ton of broccoli. Not worth the price. Needless to say. We will no longer go there. Taste is the spot for good Chinese food.

It is your average Panda Express. The food is okay, and the staff is friendly, but I will say the portion size on the entrees was small, plenty of rice but tight on the protein and vegetables. It is located on the second floor in a nice little food court. For Las Vegas the prices are good.

This restaurant is in the food court just steps from MGM Grand and by Marshall’s. The food court is on the second floor. Panda Express is right at the top of the escalator. It opens at 9:30am but you won’t get all the selection until a bit later and that’s ok. The price is about $2 more than the pandas outside the strip, not bad. Bad is the portion is very small, at best 2/3 of what you can get at other panda’s, or less. It’s early but the rice seems stale and mushy. The entrees are good. You can still use your coupons and vouchers from your app here. I’ll return for convenience but if there are other options I’ll skip. The seating is good. The window seats are overlooking the strip. It’s nice to sit there watching the strip.
