This was a mess it looked nice but I found bugs on my plate and inside of my food and I saw a rat or mouse on the floor running inside the kitchen I will never go here again I don’t know how this place has 4 Stars!?!? Great Wall buffet is 2.5 stars and they should have 5 stars their food is better and this place and this place doesn’t even have Mac and cheese for my sisters like what the heck!!! This place needs to be shut down ASAP!!!
China House
Very good food! Hot, high quality, Chinese Food. Not the kind you get at a buffet. Very good. Service was great also, and was not too loud which was perfect for my autistic children. Will come again, for sure. Highly recommend.
A1 customer service. A clean and inviting space to dine but we ordered takeout. It only took about 20-25 minutes to get our food and the staff were friendly while we waited for our order. The place was busy too. The orange chicken was good but not overly spectacular. The sweet and sour chicken was very delicious. The only suggestion I have is to serve the sauce on the side so the chicken doesn’t get soggy, especially if it’s takeout and not a dine in order. The egg rolls and crab Rangoon were good and we liked the Chicken egg foo young a lot. Parking was a little of a hassle. I didn’t see a parking lot but there is street parking. We had to walk about a block but it was a nice day outside so we didn’t mind. (Now if it was raining or snowing then that would be a problem.) They had plenty of seating for dining in and they also had a lot of menu options. They also gave us plenty of sauces and fortune cookies. Overall it was worth the drive to visit. My son recommended we try it. I’d definitely order food here again because it’s cooked fresh, the staff is friendly and the prices are good. 👍
Wok & Roll
On what planet is this fried rice??? Horrible horrible. sweet and sour chicken was dry and over cooked with a burnt taste. crab Rangoon with no filling...... My food was actually completed very quickly under 5 minutes. After me ordering which I guess is why the food was so bad.
I have fond childhood memories of the wok & rolls that used to be in the Chicago area and their great fried rice so when I saw this one I couldn't help, but try it out. I got an orange chicken special, but to my dismay it only came with yellow rice (I forgot they don't come with fried rice by default.) the food is at least presented well although the portions are much smaller than you'd typically get at these types of restaurants... especially for the price I paid. The orange chicken was crunchy and dry with very little taste of orange in it if at all. The rice was not bad and I'd argue better than white rice, but nowhere near the level of fried rice. It was a decent meal, but I doubt I'll go back for seconds and will stick with just the fried rice in the future (if it is still what I remember.) I definitely can see why these places closed down though.
