Li's Garden
Was in the area for a function with my kids, they went to the golden arches I went to Li's and I am glad I did. The wonton soup was very good, the noodles had a slight chew to them and the filling was very good. The broth was also tasty. I got the pork and broccoli lunch special. The broccoli was cooked very well, not hammered so it will had some crunch. The pork was flavorful and the sauce was really tasty. The service was really fast and very friendly. There was a young man working there that was VERY polite. I would recommend a stop here for sure.
Very good! I haven't ordered any of the chicken, so I can't speak on that. I normally get the beef and broccoli with the shrimp fried rice. There's always lots of beef, lots of broccoli and lots of shrimp. And the shrimp egg roll is excellent! Well worth the money.
Panda Express
The Panda Express restaurant I visited was exceptionally well-appointed and presented a visually appealing dining experience. The service was impeccable, and the portion sizes were generous and the food was both flavorful and fresh.
Why do you have to ask for teriyaki sauce for the teriyaki chicken, it's just grilled chicken with out the sauce, Melody told me that it is marinated in sauce, but it tastes like grilled chicken...its not teriyaki chicken without the sauce, as you can see I frequent panda often...never had to ask for sauce for teriyaki...other sauce, yes,but not teriyaki...its ok tho...I will go to my regular panda on Southport and Emerson, 4 minutes further and no hassle with the orders...thanks again for a sauceless entree..
China & Thai Cuisine
Great little restaurant hidden within a shopping plaza on the Southside. Great atmosphere with very friendly people. Elena the owner along with her husband are exceptionally friendly. The food was fabulous and plentiful. We ordered shrimp Egg Foo Yung, Chicken with Broccoli combination and General Tso's chicken combination and the Won Ton Soup. All were delicious. And the atmosphere at Christmas time is fun with all the decorations surrounding the tiny place. Will definitely be returning.
A small hole in the wall Asian restaurant. Tight quarters but good food. Making use of the space available to them. Always ordering to go. I love the Pad Thai noodles with a little extra spice. Also, I have enjoyed the crab ragoons, fried dumplings, and chicken on a stick. Food has always been made fresh, and piping hot.
Super China Buffet
Meh. I was hoping for a little more than what I got. Everything was fully stocked and seemed fresh. General tso was crispy but watery. Definitely not a gravy and more like a sauce/soup combo. Everything I tried wasn't what you'd normally expect out of a Chinese buffet. I included photos of the bathroom which was SOOOO nasty I couldn't use it and felt like I'd get E.Coli just standing in there. The disabled toilet had a sewage backup or something and the pipe was filled with something I wasn't going to stay and look at. Of all places for an accident to happen that's the worst. I'll pass next time.
One of my 2 go-to's whenever I'm in the area. Owners and employees are super friendly Nad nice.
