Jade Garden
We ordered General Tso Chicken. We got General Tso with almost NO chicken. The sauce is actually pretty good and the texture of the bites of “non chicken” are actually a good crispy texture. I will never go back though because… what did I just pay for? Crunchy bread with about 10% chicken?!?? There are better places. Pay a bit more and go elsewhere. Unfortunately this went in the trash.
According to the TripAdvisor pics this was shown to be a buffet. Jade Garden has been reduced to take out only. Not even dine in. That space is used for storage. See pics. No sweet sour sauce... Duck sauce completely different. Pork fried rice was cooked and dry and yellow (curry?). Shrimp Egg roll, eh. Dark gravy for mushroom egg foo yung was thick soy sauce. Egg drop soup was disappointing too.

Midtown’s most underrated Chinese restaurant! This humble family owned restaurant serves the freshest Cantonese dimsum and mouthwatering Szechuan dishes, it has quickly become one of my weekly spots. It’s also great for happy hour and their lunch specials are a great value! They are also very accommodating with food allergies and catered a menu for my friend who had a gluten allergy, he was still able to enjoy a lot of dishes. The service is impeccable and staff are so warm and welcoming. Great spot for small or large gatherings. Highly recommend this place
Food was disgusting. The Szechuan beef stew was tasteless I had to add hot sauce and salt to it. The rice came in cold. The general Tao chicken, not edible hard and obviously microwaved.

Sincerely the best Chinese food in the city. The food is always hot, and served in heaping portions, enough for lunch tomorrow! And the crab Rangoons are to die for 😋
Very unique spins on “traditional Chinese food” that I’m accustomed to, but the yellow fried rice isn’t bad but lacking in vegetables. The kung pao chicken pictured below had wayyy too many vegetables and not enough chicken and not enough chilies. 🌶️ Had slight spice but didn’t have that taste I’m used to. Again that’s me but also the sweet and sour chicken being separate was interesting almost like tempura chicken, looked like chicken nugget in the inside too not real white meat

I wasn’t greeted when I came through the door. I ordered vegetable eggrolls they were so greasy I couldn’t eat them once I got home and the atmosphere was very cold. I’m very disappointed I’ve dealt with them in the past, and they were very good but this time it really sucked.
I ordered the orange chicken, wonton soup, pork egg roll, and special fried rice. Everything was fresh and hot. Definitely good portions for the price. Customer service was good. A lady at the store, called me when prepping my order, and helped me when I ordered the wrong thing on door dash.
