Lucky Dragon
Three stars because I didn’t die—but my taste buds definitely fell into a coma. Tried Lucky Dragon last night and honestly, I think the food was seasoned with hopes and dreams instead of actual spices. The chicken had the personality of a tax form, and the fried rice tasted like it missed its calling as plain white rice’s understudy. That said, the service was fast, and I appreciated how everything arrived hot—just… flavorless. Like, impressively flavorless. I didn’t know food could actively resist seasoning. Would I eat here again? Maybe—if I ever need a palate cleanse after licking a battery. Three stars: one for effort, one for temperature, and one for giving me a new baseline for bland.
OMG. First time ordering takeout from here, and we loved it. The food was fresh, the sauce very flavorful, and the salt content was not overpowering. You could taste the good flavor, instead of a lot of salt Wish they were closer, but we will for sure get takeout from them again.
China Wok
This place is incredible! Their Chicken Lo Mein is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Our family always orders the Orange Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, and Fried Rice, but honestly, everything on the menu is delicious. The owner always greets us warmly, making every visit feel special. It’s our go-to spot, and we highly recommend it to everyone! I should’ve taken pictures before eating, but the kids were so excited and dug in right away—so this is all I managed to get. Sorry!
Dining room is a decent size. The wonton soup were outstanding. Shrimp fried rice pretty good too. Ordered General Tso's chicken with white meat. The breaded meat is stored in the refrigerator and then refried. The meat is tender though and the sauce has a good flavor. I imagine they use this same meat for dishes like sweet & sour chicken. Sauce is added after so not cooked together. If you like the traditional batter fried and cooked in the sauce, you will be disappointed. Not sure if they prepare the dark meat version in the wok or not. Decent food overall.
Hong Kong Cuisine
Their online menu could use some work. It was hard to tell what was in each dish. I ordered the Szechuan Chicken and the picture looked more like orange chicken or something. I don't like baby corn or broccoli, so I didn't care for it. I also ordered it hot and spicy, but the spice level was very low. I think there are better Chinese takeout places nearby, so I probably won't be back.
I take out. Have been going here since open. Best crab Rangoon.. she makes them herself! Food good made fresh not pre-made heated..
Happy Dragon
Happy Dragon is my preferred Chinese takeout restaurant on the Northeast side. Whenever I place an order and specify my preferences, the food is always prepared to perfection. I am a very satisfied customer 🤗... Orange Chicken, Chicken fried rice, white rice and vegetable egg rolls
Lo mein was okay...too much salt Egg foo young so greasy and salty so is the accompanying fried rice. Then I got some very salty liquid that was not edible. Where is my gravy? My beef is velvetized to a weird texture..gross. the guy who took my order was nice.
Dragon House Chinese Eatery
I loved my food and experience at Dragon House. The food was hot and delicious, the owner even brought out hot buffet food that customers requested at 2:30pm, which I thought was a nice touch. Thank you Dragon House! I WILL be back for more
Great place for a humble meal. The food was very good and the lady running the place was kind and pleasant. The buffet seems limited at first, but what is on there is very good and flavorful. My daughter is addicted to dumplings and she said they were some of the best she's ever had. The pepper chicken and lo mein were also excellent. I've seen other reviews about her "shouting orders" but this is very typical of small places like this. This is not a PF Chang, and that's alright. We will definitely be back!
