Alrighty, Golden Chopsticks. This place has a very nice, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are friendly and answer any questions that may be asked. The food is very delicious; they have multiple options. They even have fruit. I rarely see fruit at a buffet—well, the ones I've gone to at least. I had about four plates, the first three being just some food I thought I would try out, and the last plate was the finisher: freshly cut fruit that tasted amazing. This is by far my new favorite spot in Rockford, IL, for sure. I would recommend anyone in the Rockford area to come try this place out.

Update the 11 came back on my account. Still makes me wonder if I hadn't called if it would have gone back on by itself. I would suggest using cash to avoid that. We came today and it was good. It was packed. Just got home I charged a card that text me what pending transactions were and didn't recognize the amount. I checked and when we were here we had a bill for 44.22 and was charged 53.01. I called the restaurant told him what happened. He said if it doesn't come off in 3 days to call back and bring my recipe to get a refund. Now this makes me think that if you don't tip they just add whatever they want and if you aren't watching they are getting away with it. We had water no refills. I cleared the table myself. So no tip. 11 dollars out of my account. We wait. If its not in my account we wont be back. Our favorite all you can eat buffet. They have sushi which makes it worth the price. Plus they have things that the kids love to eat.

This place is magical! The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is amazing. The family who runs it is attentive and personable, and make you feel very welcome. But that food! Get it dine in, get it carry out, get it however you can. Absolutely outstanding 😋

The place is larger than what it looks like from the outside. The inside had dark wood and several different dining areas. There is also a bar. I didn't get anything but the house fried rice and it was bland. I hope they take notice of the reviews and change it up. The young man that gave me my order said that the restaurant has been there for 40 some years.

Ordered a Mongolian beef. Idk if you even call this a Mongolian beef? Maybe 10 pieces of beef if that and the rest is onion. A good 90% of the order was onions. Wong Wongs used to be the best place in Rockford. It's seriously sad. How badly the new owners have ran this west side stable into the ground. This will be the last time I order from them. Happy wok is more authentic and cheaper than this garage.

Place is small but the food was good remember cash only was accepted

The nicest ladies ever! They made me smile so much with how kind and willing they were to let me try samples until I found what I wanted ! The honey lemon chicken is amazing and perfectly made. My husband got the black pepper chicken and it was also so yummy! Highly recommend!

Food exceeded my expectations, super tasty and delicious! They immediately gave me samples and it was all amazing. Also very GENEROUS with their portion sizes

Yum, yum! I absolutely love the Chinese donuts. I cannot believe how perfectly cooked and extremely soft inside they are. I also can't believe how reasonably priced this place is. Check out their lunch specials. Spring rolls are killer. I got dinner, the mixed vegetables and I got to add vegetables of my selection. Of course, I got broccoli, baby corn, carrots, water chestnuts, onions, and snow peas. Scrumptious. UWO grad student. Meal of the year.

This food USE TO BE delicious ! NOW IM TOSSING A PLATE OF PRETTY LOOKING, GUT WRENCHING DISGUSTING FOOD IN THE TRASH WHERE IT BELONGS!!! Food is much too expensive these days for it to be GROSS!!! The orange chicken is bland, doesn’t taste nothing at all like orange chicken. The egg rolls are disgusting and much much smaller than they were in previous years. I will not be eating here anymore! Plus, when I called to try and to see why the food taste this way, Brenda the manager said she’ll call me back because they were “having a rush…don’t have time…” $35 gone directly to the TRASH!

I received a large teriyaki chicken that was all reheated and hard chicken... I called them to ask if they made this to order and they said yes of course... How does this place have these ratings serving this food...? There are so many places that make this fresh to order, go there, thank me later... Not only is is hard and reheated but the guy flat out lied to me about it. Not hard to figure out what reheated Chinese food tastes like. Better yet, I'll provide a pic... If you like old dried chicken that's like jerky, this is your place...

This restaurant remind me of the food in the mall. The place called Kobe’s. It’s very similar to Kobe’s. I had this spot one time it’s pretty good. I would come here again if I couldn’t get Kobe’s.

I was surprised by the quality of the food for a chain establishment. Good healthy choices for a Chinese place. Will be back

Ordered DoorDash from them this evening and was missing 2 items. No orange chicken and no apple pie rolls. Not to mention there was approximately four tiny pieces of beef in my beef and broccoli. Got a Partial refund on DoorDash but Comeon how do you mess up an order this bad? Normally love panda but this was an extreme disappointment. Despite this the rice was still tasty and the 4 tiny pieces of beef were good.

This food is absolutely disgusting the worst i have ever had. The orange chicken was over cooked and soggy. The combination rice was under cooked the egg was dang near whole and there were large pieces of under cooked meat. The egg rolls are sour this place needs to be shut down. If chinese’s food is what your craving run away from this place. When I called and told them how bad the food was they offered to replace the orange chicken and egg rolls he also said he would try the egg rolls his self. Needless to say i’ll never go back here if they offered a refund then i would go back to return the horrible food but for now the only place this food belongs is in the 🗑️.

Ordered takeout here and it was one of the best experiences I've had. I often get soggy food from takeout restaurants, but everything here was crispy. Would highly recommend the TC2 Spicy Chili Chicken in Szechuan Style if you like spicy food.

We ordered take out and when we received it and were eating the Chicken Lo Mein, there was a scrap of steel wool inside the dish. We returned to the restaurant and asked for a refund and an explanation. Staff was difficult and we only got a 20% refund even though our food was contaminated from “what they use to clean the wok”. Will not eat here again.

Truly a treasurable enlightening experience with fantastic food. The mix of their music and food is an amazing combination. Really got me thinking of how great of a variety of food they have.

We decided to try this place, hoping for the charm of a family-run restaurant. What we got instead was a front-row seat to the most baffling customer service experience of our lives. The young man taking orders was deeply engrossed in a video game on his laptop at one of the tables—so much so that we felt like we were interrupting his day. With a deep sigh of irritation, he ambled over, barely glanced at us, and took our order as though we’d just asked him to do chores. It gets better. Utensils? Water? Forget about it. He flatly told us to “get them ourselves,” then bolted back to his laptop, clearly eager to resume whatever epic battle awaited him in cyberspace. I’d almost admire the dedication to his game if it weren’t paired with such a complete disregard for the customers keeping this place afloat. And don’t get me started on the state of the restaurant. The tables were unkempt, the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in weeks, and the overall vibe screamed “meh.” It was as if the video game had absorbed not just the staff’s attention but the restaurant’s sense of pride and hospitality. The kicker? I tipped 25% upfront, before I realized I’d be serving myself, dodging sticky tables, and competing with a gaming session for basic attention. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this place delivers—just not in the way you’d hope. We left feeling like we’d been part of some strange social experiment. Next time, we’ll stick to places where the staff’s focus is on the food and the customers, not their kill count in League of Legends.

The food was fantastic! We ordered the General Tso and Pepper steak, both were incredible! Highly recommend!
