Finally an African store in my community! No more long trips to Chicago just for food. Awesome variety. Friendly owner with great African snacks. Must try the Soda, like nothing I’ve ever had before.

The food was a bit cold I rated a four because the toy machine ate my money it was scam I wouldn’t try the machine and why says hibachi it was no hibachi in there.

went to go eat with some friends, food was cold, i took 3 bites of my food and lost my appetite. the food might of been sitting there for hours🤷🏻‍♀️ and my friends agreed that the food was NOT fresh whatsoever. i felt sick the next day

Pretty nice and clean place, the atmosphere ambient, modern look, about food I only tried a couple dishes, ceviche and birria A+, a nice place to chill after work and have a beer or watch sports, what I spend (beer+food) pretty cheap for what I got, 👍👍

This is a carry out place though it states dine in. I wouldn't recommend dine in thought there seems to be a table. Even for a carry out this place looks and feels chaotic. Initially I wasn't sure if the building was a restaurant or not. But when I walked up to the counter, that changed. Process is simple and easy. There are a variety of prepared dishes you can pick 1 entree or 2 entree meal. Portion sizes are big. I asked to stop adding more! Very generous and the lady who serves us super sweet. My first time and I was allowed to try the different flavors. So yummy. I decided on the 2 entree - spicy beef and sour soup (pork belly). All very authentic and flavorful. The lady even gave me some of the soup on the side. Such delish packed meal for $11.99.

Phone rings no picks up or answer then you call back and the busy tone you receive indicates they took the phone off the hook. I've tried ordering from them as several times wants to be honest with you I needed food for Wednesday but they're closed on Wednesday. Know the two times I need a food for Thursday and this is for the military party and again they're not answering their phones. Guess I'll go down the street to Lola's in North Chicago on Green Bay does they answer their phones

Delicious and fresh food! Great customer service! Clean and great smelling Bath and Body Works handsoap. Great packaging and a durable reusable bag instead of a traditional paper brown bag for big orders. The only thing I would change is to have individually wrapped plastic utensils. I can’t wait to go back for more dishes and to try the different drinks. 😄

I ordered for delivery and it was super quick. When ordering, I added a note that if they had sauce/mustard, I would be thankful for a few packets. Don’t want to get anyone in trouble, but they took care of me! I ordered something I had never tried - the Singapore Mei Fun. And it was SO good. The portion will absolutely last me another day or two! The picture on the plate is today’s dinner. The other pic is what is left! I didn’t make a dent!! Great food! Great service! I want to express my serious concern regarding my recent experience with Mingtoy. My family and I enjoyed a meal there yesterday, but to our shock, we discovered contamination (rat or mice droppings) in our food when we attempted to have leftovers for lunch today. It is utterly unacceptable that we might have consumed contaminated food without our knowledge. This issue must be addressed immediately, as it has severely undermined our trust in your restaurant. Given this experience, we will have to reconsider our dining options moving forward.

Haven't had Ming Toy in sooo long. This was the spot growing up! Always on point!! Made Waukegan proud! .... fast forward to now... Surprisingly, I didn't smell anything when I walked in. That was a red flag. You should ALWAYS smell food in a restaurant. They didn't have orange chicken, or chicken on a stick. Plus, the menu is nothing like before. It's minimal. Now, I ordered $60 worth of food, just to get home and it look, smell, and taste extremely low budget. Very disappointing! VERY. Everything I got was either undercooked, cold, or not portioned correctly. Meaning, 4-5 strips of meat, and the rest of the container full of vegetables and sauce. I bagged everything back up, and took it all back. I never do this... but, $60 is a lot of money to put in a garbage can. On my way to get my money back, my stomach started hurting. This was a saddening and frustrating experience. Ming Toy, I encourage you to do 1000% better, before the health inspector steps in. Or, step down gracefully. Respectfully, know when to close your doors. P.S. Easy on the MSG, I was anxious the rest of the night.

Food was great, I was going to sit in but got take out both times I've gone here. What I did not like is the middle aged lady that cleans the place took the order of 2 men that she saw come in after me when I had been waiting on her and she knew that. But still, the food is good, the place is clean, the tacos are a nice size, rice & beans taste good, and I like that they give you salsa in a sealed plastic bag vs a cup so it doesn't spill in the bag during takeout. Will be back soon..

We ate here for the first time and will absolutely be back! The staff is all very sweet and the food was delicious. I had the garlic soy chicken tenders and they were so flavorful and cooked perfectly- I'm glad I had some to take home! Their mango lemonade also had plenty of fresh mango, which I loved! The atmosphere inside was very warm and inviting. I'm loosely practicing Korean and I'm so embarrassed to speak other languages out loud, but it was so heartwarming to get such a nice reaction to me finally gathering up the courage to say a simple 감사합니다. To the kind gentleman that helped us today, it meant more than you know! If you're looking for a great place to eat with wonderful people, please give this place a try!

I read Batman in the miso soup weeds. Everything else about this place was equally amazing. I think this was the best meal I have ever had anywhere. The server was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy but professional. The boba is phenomenal (they have the little plastic hearts, you know?). All other restaurants are ruined for me (except Gyu-kaku. Love you bae).

My son graduated book today and it was his choice to eat here. Presentation of food was great! The rice was ok, just didn't have that pop...same for the sauce. The vegetables were cold...maybe that's how it was supposed to be???

I come here all the time to get their famous Arracherra preparada en cordón, they can also cut it the typical way as well, Marinaded ready to throw on the grill. Their chicarron and tamales are also very tasty.

Regarding the restaurant: Absolutely delicious. Give it a try if you want to eat some of the juicier, softer pieces of meat at a affordable price. There is also a great variety of foods in the menu for you to chose from. Definitely coming back to try out that juicy beef meat again.

We won free dinner tickets and decided to give it a try. It was surprisingly delicious. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious. Will most likely go back again.

Service was great atmosphere perfect the food to me was a little bland don't get me wrong it was good I'm just used to a little more flavors but The juices I had the horchata and my wife had the melon very very delicious

Was there Sunday for dinner, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal but for a 20$ arrachera plate they gave me less than 3oz os steak. Definitely not worth it! Other than that everything else was fine.
