India Foodie
The food was not that great and also very expensive. Worst sizzler i ever had. Paneer tikka masala n chicken tikka masala was below the average. Only thing that was good was chilli cheese naan.
Good food 4.5/5 and friendly service but I have to cut down my review for cleanliness. The place especially go to the restroom it is as dirty as a gas station. Bathroom door needs a paint job and bathroom was filthy like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Mirror was covered in old stains. They need to do a 180 on cleanliness or they are go to continue to lose people to neighbor restaurants which is clearly happening when I was watching all the other business in other restaurants in the parking lot.
Minami Sushi (횟집)
It was definately worth driving 1 hour from my home. This place imports fresh Korean fish directly air-shipped from Korea. It is a must sushi place if you want to try Korean style sashimi called "hwae" We had "A course" for 4 people which was $230, but the amount food was more than enough, we could not finish last bowl of rice with Spicy Korean fish soup called "Maeuntang" Every bite was a masterpiece and the fish was incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth, and the presentation was stunning. I was especially impressed by the variety of options and the chef’s attention to detail. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Whether you’re a sushi lover or new to it, this place will blow you away. Hands down, the best sushi I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!”
Came for lunch and the value goes crazy. Their sushi is very high quality and rice is well seasoned. The music and vibes are nice, very clean/modern.
Oishi Sushi
Great tasting sushi but double check to see if the all you can eat suits your scenario! Ordering individually turned out to be cheaper and we got to take the leftovers home
The sushi was okay. I notice a difference between when you order all you can eat and normal. All you can eat shrimp tempura had 1 shrimp, and the normal order had 2 shrimp. I'm not sure if that's how it is made, but that's how we got ours. We order for our child all you can eat. But she only had 1 roll in total. We still paid half the price, which was $14, from the adult price. I should have ordered just the roll without all you can eat. It would have been only $7 or $9. I wish they wouldn't have charged us for the a.y.c.e. and just for the 1 roll. We tried this restaurant, how we do with a lot others and unfortunately is not one that we would go back for the sushi.
Egg Basket Pancake House
9/2024 4* First time here. Décor was ok. But instead of flowers on the walls, how about upbeat breakfast pictures? Eggs, Chickens, something. Looks very outdated. Website is saying it is still coming. Been open 9 years and no website. Ugh! I reached down to move my chair and the bottom I grabbed was so much caked on grease I had to leave the table and go wash up. It was a gooey mess. The food was pretty good. Service was ok. Nobody in the restaurant for the first hour we were there. Then 8 more people did come during the second hour. It was a weekday morning so maybe all just late risers. Probably won’t be back.
I wanted to try a new breakfast spot and since I was at Walmart I decided to try them out. When I first walked in the hostess was on his phone and and seems a little lost after I requested a booth he stared into a room of emptiness before picking the booth it took the waitress about 5 mins to greet us which was confusing to me because this place was empty I had then proceeded to ask questions about the menu and the waitress didn’t listen to my question and went to a rant about how they use real eggs unlike any other place around here I ordered the cream and chicken soup it had no flavor no matter how much salt and pepper I added no flavor I also ordered the two eggs and meat with toast I order my eggs over medium and got sunny side up and two sad looking sausage links the waitress messed up my 4 year old order I asked for grilled cheese and fries she brought French toast and bacon she took it back and make the correct order my sister was safe she ordered a waffle with fruit the fruit saved the waffle for her she also ordered bacon which was just bacon and slightly over cooked old tasting bacon and she ordered a egg scrambled wrost egg no flavor for a real egg also my nephew ordered the angus burger and again no flavor he tried adding salt and pepper to no avail portion sizes were decent except the two tiny sausage links my sister said it over all underwhelming and not impressing at all they need to clean a little better because there was dirty air vents and bugs in my light fixture above the table will not be going there agian also if it wasn’t for me having to give a star I wouldn’t of done that
New China Chef
I order here very often sometimes weekly and I love Sam she is an amazing owner and cook. She works really hard and the food is super good! I usually order the beef fried rice or the veggie fried rice. I am a regular customer! I get my veggie fried rice with bean sprouts, onion, egg, and spicy and it’s top notch delicious!! Sometimes I get the sweet and sour chicken. And we get the egg rolls. Yummy thank you
I’ve gotten food from here on several occasions. I usually order the general chicken, which is usually good, but it’s been a while. For Father’s Day my father wanted Chinese food. I ordered four different items and one of them was Empress chicken. First time ordering it here. I thought it was weird that I was asked if I wanted the sauce on the side. Which is how sweet-and-sour chicken usually comes. I said no, I want my sauce on the chicken. I get to my car and open it up and see the picture attached. I went back in to tell her I ordered Empress chicken not sweet-and-sour chicken. She insisted it was Empress chicken and I explained that I’ve gotten Empress chicken at other Chinese restaurants and this is not Empress chicken. She then pointed to a picture on the counter saying yes it’s empress chicken, which I thought was hilarious because it didn’t look like the chicken that I had. After I said it looks like the sweet-and-sour chicken, she said no, it has Empress chicken sauce. Which was my point exactly, I was given sweet-and-sour chicken with Empress sauce. Then the next day it was barely edible because it was so hard. So basically, I think I was given some old chicken that they needed to get rid of. Definitely not empress chicken, A total waste of money!
