China House
I bought $97 worth of food on a Saturday at noon to be delivered by the restaurant. The dishes that used oil were obviously cooked in very old and burnt oil and tasted horrible. The egg drop soup smelled like the Fox River and when I tasted it, it was sour. They sent the bag of food with a giant unordered bag of almond cookies on top. They must have been trying to avoid a bad review with sending 75% of their food visibly days old and trying to avoid any food loss on their part. I have eaten at their buffet an hour after opening in recent months and the food was very old (day before old) and they happily tried to take the cellophane off and charge me full price. So now the buffet AND ordering are both old if they had a slow night before. If they need to raise prices, they need to do so because this isn’t the way to save money on a business. Good luck China House.
China House in Sandwich is disgusting. My fiancé was finishing his plate of food and looks down and sees a dead fly. And when it was brought up to the owners they only offered to comp his plate of food not our entire bill. And with having the kids with us we didn’t want to make a big deal at the time. But as we sat in the car we didn’t feel right about still having to pay the $51 as the whole bill should of been comped because who the hell wants to eat with a dead fly on there plate? So when we call and explain that we are not happy they agree to comp the entire bill and as they were doing that they said he is now banned. GREAT SERVICE. 👏🏻
China Palace
General Tsaos had a weird flavor and wasn’t close to the dish I’ve had anywhere else. Chicken was poor quality. To top off the experience the dish didn’t come with white rice therefore I ordered a side of white rice which they charged me $10.90 for. Wouldn’t recommend much better places around.
This was literally the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The smell, the texture and the color. $100 for four people. All thrown out.
