Happy to have a spot to go on Christmas - and very kind of them to get my mom and in last minute without reservations! Sorta funny to get these DIS-fortunes on Christmas but they were good for a laugh.

I have been going to this place for at least 35 years. Never a bad meal. The staff, and everyone I have encountered there are very nice. Great place to go to for good food and good service!

Friendly service Fresh food I really miss old-fashioned egg rolls with peanut butter. I wish places would give it as an option and prices are not bad at all I got the house chow fun, my brother got the beef chow fun

Went here twice to dine. The food is good. Service is regular. Basic take my order and go service. Nothing wrong with it. That's why its 3 stars. The place could use some updates. I Again, nothing wrong with the seatings or table. It has a large fish tank. Looks old and could use some cleaning. Not so inspiring and detracts the restaurant. The place has tremendous potential as I see many elderly there. Great sign. With some small changes, it can be restaurant of choice.

My Mom and I were looking for a new (new to us) Chinese-American restaurant. Palace Cantonese surpassed all expectations. Every plate we had was delicious and food was hot. The service by Calvin was outstanding. We entered the restaurant and were the only ones during this late lunch time. We sat in the comfortable and cozy booth (firm for what my back needs). Right away, Calvin brought delicious hot tea and water. The Fried Won Ton, which is hard to find without meat, was perfectly fried, not soggy. The cup of egg drop soup was a generous portion, more like a medium bowl. The veggie egg rolls were large and tasty. The Chicken Szechuan, was like a kung pao chicken and very flavorful. I loved the touch from Calvin bringing extra peanuts without us asking. He also asked if we needed more tea even though our steel carafe was half full. At similar restaurants, I’ve not seen that service. The final touch was receiving 2 almond cookies (plus fortune cookies), which my Mom and I love. It’s my new favorite restaurant which I will be patronizing every time I’m in Chicago.

This little, tiny hole-in-the-wall restaurant with a boarded up front window is incredible. I’ve eaten there probably 10 times now waiting to find something to complain about and besides the discomfort of my back in their booths I have nothing bad to say. Their food is incredible and consistent. The egg roll are top notch, the sweet sauce is delightful, the hot and sour soup is amazing and the won ton soup is tasty. The bbq ribs are so so good. Nice and tangy. Then the Beef and peapods never disappoints, the Mongolian Shrimp is just right and the Empress Chicken with pan fried noodles is scrumptious. There’s never anyone in there when my husband and I are there…I don’t know why. The food is great!!

Dishonest company. They keep the good parts of the duck in a container under the cutting board and give the customer the scraps and bones. When you order here, record them when they're chopping as proof that they're stealing the duck you paid for! Better yet, tell them not to cut your duck. Cut it yourself at home so they don't get the chance to steal half your duck!

An excellent Chinese BBQ place run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They really know the art of BBQ and everything is cooked and prepared to perfection. The BBQ chef there had been around for at least a decade back from before the current owners took over the shop. The prices are very reasonable and the taste authentic. The best part is buying BBQ from here saves me the time and hassle of going to Chinatown.

Here’s the instructions on how to eat there. First, I would call 1-2 days prior to coming. Just let them know you plan on coming with x amount of people at this specific time. They will take note. Next, call on the day of. I just called them an hour after they opened and confirmed that my group of x amount of people will arrive at this time. They said they will see me then. Simple. When you arrive, they have free street parking in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is not huge, they do have some limited seating if it does get busy. The restaurant is family owned. The mom was serving us. I believe she helps with her husband and daughter in the back. All of the food is made fresh. It’s like eating at someone’s house with a nice home cooked meal. Portion sizes were generous. Prices are cheap for what you receive. This is my second time eating Mongolian food. First was at Arvin in Niles. You also get complimentary milk tea. Mongolian milk tea is more salty than ones in your typical Asian restaurant. Here is that we ordered: -khuushuur (beef pastry) 5 - kind of like an empanada with beef inside. It’s juicy too so be careful when taking the first bite. It’s very hot. -glass noodle stir fry 5 - kind of like japchae. Noodles are thin with a variety of ingredients. -dumpling soup 5 - heart soup. There is some bread that you can use to dip. As shown in the picture, a generous amount of dumplings, meat, and veggies. -tsuivan (noodles stir fry) 5 - this is another must when ordering Mongolian food here. Noodles are on the thicker side with slight chew. Well balanced with meat and veggies. -lamb rib soup 5 - one of the favorites. The meat is perfectly cooked. Noodles were chewy but not too much. Good soup for any occasion. -buuz (dumplings) 5 - skin is thicker. Meat inside is succulent and not dry. Very flavorful. This and the khuushuur are musts when coming here.

Back again after a very long time, and it was just as wonderful as the last time. Deliciousness all around❤️. Food made with love. Begin original post: The father and daughter team are amazing. They cook from the heart. Everything was made to order and delicious. We can't wait to go back. A true gem 💎.

Our Thai go-to! Will keep coming back to this place, even after moving out of the area. I always get chicken pad see ewe, Siam crab Rangoon, papaya salad and chicken satay and it never disappoints. We live in the city now and I have been looking for something that comes close to Sri Siam but it’s just the best. Service is ALWAYS 10/10, I cannot say anything bad about their staff. The prices are great too! Highly recommend!

Overall this is a good casual Asian restaurant. I don’t know about authenticity foods are good and reasonably priced, and servers are friendly.

If you're eager to try Thai cuisine, Lai Thai Restaurant is an excellent choice. Begin your meal with the crispy and flavorful Spring Rolls. For the main course, the Seafood Curry and Beef Pad See Ewe are must-tries, both bursting with authentic Thai flavors. Additionally, the curry dish with pea pods offers a delightful taste that complements the other dishes well. The ambiance at Lai Thai is warm and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxed meal. The service is quick and attentive, ensuring you have a pleasant dining experience. Lai Thai Restaurant promises a delicious journey through Thai cuisine that you won't forget.

I usually really like this place so decided to try something new and decided to get the Pad kamio( hope I spelled that right) it states on menu and I was told when I ordered over the phone, it comes with shrimp and chicken. Well it came with chicken and in the photo you can see my one shrimp. That I didn’t care one lonely a*^ Shrimp. The staff is friendly and the food is great but that’s a fail when the dish cost reflects two proteins and you don’t actually receive that.

OMG! One of the best Indian restaurants I have been in one year in Illinois! Good, kind staff. We had a bit of issue with the order, but the manager fixed it right away. The food was amazing, not greasy, yet delicious and healthy. Dessert -Kheer was Devine! Out of the world. Creamy and yum, also just about the right amount…Going to bring all my girl gang again soon, and the kids when they visit home… Great job teem Tawa!!

I have visited this place several times and recently we went to have some good food but shockingly it wasn’t at all good enough as compared to the past few months. The quality had degraded extremely fast. I am not sure if the chef is changing or the owner who runs the place. Even with the regular order we did not a single thing that was okayish. We ordered paneer tikka for appetizer and it was pretty raw. Same with other non-veg dishes and entrees and some chaas and sodas I usually recommend this place to all my friends but this time was a major disappointment. Try on your own risk cuz if you are aware its one of the most expensive Indian restaurants in the suburbs.
