I brought my family for lunch for the first time today to try out Pho Son. We ordered some pho with brisket, steak, and meatball served with fresh bean sprouts, lime, and peppermint leaves. The broth was delicious. You can taste the freshness. The spring rolls with peanut sauce defenetly hit the spot. The rice plate with chicken would defenetly have it again... as well as everything else in the menu. The atmosphere was clean and simple, enough parking and easy access to the restaurant. Service the very good and friendly. I'll be back.

We celebrated my sister's birthday at this restaurant with a party of 9. Setting up a reservation was easy, and upon arrival, everything was ready for us. The restaurant's atmosphere is fresh and welcoming, and the service is excellent. The staff was patient with us and took the time to answer any questions we had and explain different menu items to us. As for the food, it was beyond words. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the portions were generous. Every meal that came to our table looked amazing, and everyone at our table loved their food. We even shared some bites of our meals, and the food tasted so flavorful and fresh. You will be glad you decided to try this place out.

Nice 'hidden' place on the north end of Boerne. Excellent selection of dishes. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are nice with decent portions. Overall a repeat place for us. Tables were a bit sticky though.

Found by accident and will definitely eat here again. Friendly staff. Nice service. The wonton soup was really good. The shrimp with Chinese vegetables was very nicely prepared with high quality ingredients.

UPDATE: Here I am 8 months later and this place is still fantastic. I haven't been coming here often enough! Same prices, same friendly people and heaps of great food. I just found this place and I wish I found it sooner!! Only had the sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice and wonton soup... All was delicious. Eventually, I will probably try everything on the menu. The best part was the price of the meal and drink, under $14. It's hard to find a good sit down meal anywhere for that! This is NOT buffet style however, the food is similar to what you find in those restaurants, but better quality. No sushi, just hot meals! I shall return.

8/24/23 A Delightful Family Meal. We recently dined at Shang-Hi Restaurant and had a fantastic experience. Although we were initially skeptical since it was our first visit, the food exceeded our expectations. The restaurant is clean, and the restrooms are well-maintained—kudos to the staff and management. We tried a variety of dishes, including egg drop soup, egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken, pepper steak, and sweet and sour pork. Everyone was pleased and full with their choices. The server was nice and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed.Overall, it was a delightful meal with the family, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

Whoever’s idea it was to keep the fried pork separate from the sweet n sour sauce is an absolute legend. By the time I got home and unpacked everything the pork was still so crispy, it was fantastic!

Dont know why this spot has that many bad reviews. Every time i go there, its always GREAT. The restaurant is always SPOTLESS, food is always cooked on time, and the prices are great for the portion size. Contrary to popular belief, NOT ALL CHINESE FOOD IS MADE OR TASTES THE SAME. & anyone who has eaten it in the city knows its a distinct difference in taste. The most noticeable thing you see out here is that they use alot more orange shavings in their orange chicken. But Jades garden holds up great in comparison to in the city and I highly encourage anyone in town to try them out!

I ordered the pot roast special. The meat was very fatty and the gravy was very watery. Definitely not what I expected for $24. I had the cream of chicken with rice. It was delicious . Portion size was good. Atmosphere was nice. Bathroom was nice and clean and warm unlike most bathrooms. Wait staff was efficient but not very personable.

The food prices were fantastic with large portions. I had a denver omelete with hash browns and French toast. It wa full of ingredients and more than I could eat. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service.

I’ve been here multiple times for different occasions and can say it doesn’t disappoint each time. The sushi is always delicious and doesn’t take too long to get made, it’s always easy to make reservations and they usually have your table available when you arrive. Great service and haven’t had a bad experience here thank you

1st time trying, and I was not disappointed. The server was very helpful with food selection, and everything was amazing. You know it's good when you walk out full. Definitely will be making a return visit.

The reason for the 4 star is that we ordered a bunch of food all which was great except for the Mongolian beef... we counted 7 pieces of meat in there. It was all vegetables. (Picture shows) The general chicken, crab Rangoon and the fried rice was great!

I have been ordering food and dining in for over 15 years, and I don't have a complaint. The food is delicious. The prices are very reasonable and you have to definitely order their lunch specials. I usually order pan-fried pork pot stickers, Mongolian beef, white rice, and chow main. Defenetly one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in Aurora.

We have ordered carry out here for years, but due to recent inconsistencies in the food, as well as increased pricing, it's time to find a new Chinese restaurant. Disappointing, as it used to be good & certainly more reasonably priced. This last time the fried rice was not fresh; it was chewy and overcooked. The sweet & sour chicken was so hard it was not edible. We usually order the same items, used to pay $55; now charged $68 for same order, including a surcharge for credit card customers. Time to move on...

Love this noodles and company ! I live in Wisconsin and travel to Oswego just for this store!! Best noodles and company ever. Very very organized and my order is always correct always ready on time and the staff is so friendly thank you!

Food was okay. It's better to make sure they cook it throughly though. My BBQ Mac was given cold and hint of being microwaved. I am Hungry (Still paid still going to eat) and it's my Birthday so I will enjoy it with my friends anyway. However, this should not have been a rushed meal, especially since it's my first time here

Now I know why I haven't been here in almost 8 years! The food was very Bland! All the dishes we ordered needed more seasonings. The new carbonara dish was definitely not Carbonara. It tasted like Bland Alfredo and came with red peppers? Red peppers definitely don't belong in carbonara? I remember the breadsticks and salad being way better years ago but unfortunately it has also gone downhill. The bread stick we're very dry. I will say that the Dr Pepper and a glass of water was very good.

Went for Veterans Day, and it was decent, but honestly, it seems our server really didn't want to serve us, and I downplayed, but my mother was spot on it. We actually saw how attentive other servers were to people sitting across from us, and they were offered options we weren't, but it's cool. I still do 20% tip on a 27 dollar check cause I always feel that even if you're not 100% with me. I'll still show you it doesn't bother me.

I tried this place for the first time and it's definitely the last! They charge $3 for veggie fried rice as substitution on a lunch special but there no veggies in the rice! I guess they consider a few scallions in the rice being veggie fried rice! I've been to many place's where they put peas , carrots , broccoli , and mushrooms in the veggie rice so a variety of veggies that justify the $3 but this definitely not!

Delicious fast friendly service. Ordered delivery on NYE which came quick and was fresh. Also great for appetizers. Works great with UberEATS. Some of the best pot stickers around. They’re huge.

I ordered the lunch special which comes with an egg roll. Chicken with Chinese Vegetables. But I only wanted Broccoli, Carrots and Snow Peas. I got exactly what I ordered. The chicken was tender and juicy. The vegetables were soft and cooked perfectly. The fried rice was tender and tasty. The egg roll was crispy on the outside and had vegetables on the inside. My entire meal was delicious!! Even though I couldn't eat half of it. I was fine with that because I love leftovers. Especially since I got all of this for $9.00!! Look no further for great Chinese food. This is definitely the place!! You won't be disappointed!! 😋

I had some time to kill and hadn’t eaten Chinese in a while so I stopped at the China Garden as a first time visitor. The price is what’s you expect and my portion General Tso’s was not only delicious but also very large. I’d come again and recommend to anyone who has a taste for some Chinese food. Located next to Pins bowling alley.
