Yummy Bowl
This Asian place is not too bad for the Chicago northern suburb! We came here for lunch and the price is pretty reasonable! I had the Pad See Ew with beef, it was a pretty big portion and the beef was very tender and I had plenty of noodles! It was very tasty!
Orange chicken is amazing, not too sweet!!! š my husband had the garlic shrimp and crab Rangoon and was impressed š I'll try the same chicken next time.
Mee Jun Chop Suey
This local chop suey shop is an absolute gem! The flavors are authentic and the portions are generous. Their Shrimp fried rice is the best. It's perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor. The service is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious Chinese food. You won't be disappointed! š„”š„¢ Ps. Order ahead. ONLY TAKEOUT FOR NOW,
Very good. Generous portions and also generous with the protein. We got the chicken lo mein and two egg rolls. It was 25 dollars. For āgood eatersā it is plenty of food for two people. For ālite eatersā, it would be able to feed 4 people. Also, I couldnāt find a menu online so this is my gift to the Chinese food eaters in Highwood.

Good experience eating here with friends. Loved everything we had, sushi- caterpillar, dragon fire, torched dragon as shown in photos. Salt and pepper squid was ok, pad see ew was good. Lunch portion is a bit small. My teen boys were not full after the first round of order. The server is very kind and helpful. Food was served pretty fast.
Love this place!!! Our favorites are the honey walnut shrimp, the pad see eiu, and the General Tsoās chicken. Excellent quality, huge portions (each dish is enough for two or even three) and super friendly service! Donāt be deterred by the lack of reviews on here. They just told that a hacker came in and deleted all their reviews and photos. Give this place a try, itās awesome!
Lung Fung Restaurant
Food and service were both excellent!! The staff was so friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great meal. I had Beef and Broccoli and my son had Sesame Chicken. Both were very good and we will definitely return!
Horrible food I thought it would be good because of the reviews but they gave me raw meat in my Mongolian beef. The fried rice was OK but the beef had little flavor and very undercooked.
Emperor's Kitchen
Pro: awesome service and kindness, also delivered with care. Con: maybe a communication barrier and deals. In all my life Iāve always been offered a combo platter with meat, fried rice, and egg roll. However my daughter did love the honey or sesame chicken whatever it was Iām not sure because we didnāt order it but we received it and it was delicious. In the just of things, the food was here quickly. The driver and staff was polite, and the food was tasty where my expectations high? Yes!!
We ordered two entrees today. It was ready when we arrived for pickup. But, we were very disappointed in the contents. The Mongolian beef was non existent as it had very little beef and all onions. Yuk! What a cheap way to fill a container. The chicken and veges was 60% broccoli. Again a cheap way of filling the container. The taste of either entree was blah. It was way to expensive for what we got. We won't be back.
Arroz Chino Highwood
very nice, love the food
I called and they answered you reluctantly, I mean, they are going to be paid for what we ordered, they would have to answer hello, good afternoon or morning, how can we help you, but they answer you as if you are asking them for free, it is a service and thanks to the customers, their restaurant runs on its own. I didn't like how they answered me and I felt like saying I don't want their food but out of respect I didn't say anything.
