Hunan Star
bbq pork juicy, sweet/tangy….delicious!! sweet/sour chicken was fresh, crispy and the sauce was absolutely homemade..onion, pineapple, carrots.. yummy!!
I ordered their sesame chicken not over a half hour ago and am currently holding myself back from finishing the entire dish. This is without a doubt one of if not the best sesame chickens I have ever had. The portion size was amazing and will provide me with 3 meals total for what I paid. I know I will be back for more of this dish and other dishes they serve. I recommend this to anyone looking for high quality food!
MingHin Cuisine
Ming Hin in Schaumburg delivers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious Cantonese cuisine and inviting ambiance. The restaurant’s design is both spacious and elegant, blending traditional and modern aesthetics. The service is efficient, and the staff is courteous, making the overall experience enjoyable. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. The steamed soup dumplings (xiao long bao) were a highlight, offering a delicate wrapper and flavorful broth. The taro puffs were perfectly crispy with a soft, savory filling that melted in your mouth. The grilled short ribs were tender and well-seasoned, while the beef ho fun noodles were packed with rich, savory flavors and a delightful smoky aroma from the wok. The dumplings, both shrimp and veggie varieties, were fresh, light, and expertly crafted. For dessert, the steamed sponge cake was fluffy and lightly sweetened—a simple yet satisfying end to the meal. The attention to detail in each dish truly reflects the skill of the kitchen. The restaurant has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for family meals, celebrations, or simply enjoying dim sum favorites. If you’re in Schaumburg and love authentic Cantonese flavors, Ming Hin is a must-visit spot. Highly recommended for both the food and the experience!
It has been a while since I had Chinese food. It was all tasty and good. Clean restaurant, service is fine. We are group of 8 celebrating my friend dad. Hopefully I can come back soon
Teriyaki Madness
First off the place smells disgusting so that was enough for me but the managers over there have a lot of attitude considering they work at teriyaki madness 🤣. I also feel they are rude and a little discriminatory even though the entire place is basically ran by minorities. The younger guy working the front was visibly high so clearly they don’t pay attention to a lot over there. I was just curious where the audacity came from. Wonder how long this location will last :)
Love, love, love this place! After a long time, Teriyaki Madness has finally reopened! Long thought to be gone for good they opened just this past weekend and the food is just as good as ever. Fresh, hot and hella delicious. Can't recommend the Spicy Chicken bowl with rice n veggies enough, and be sure to try the chicken potstickers. The staff were nice and friendly and the restaurant clean and in good order. Be sure to stop by if you are in the area!
Pho Plus
It's a self-service restaurant and the food was wonderful. Huge portion noodles soup and very authentic! Pork chop with rice has great lemongrass flavor! We will come back!
Walked in and dint know it was a self serve restaurant. Pho had a lot of meat and more noodles than most. It tasted good but nothing out of the ordinary. Spring rolls were ok. Not the best. Had too much rice noodles that you can’t taste the shrimp or anything else in it. What I didn’t like was the checkout machine asks for tips. It’s suppose to be a self serve restaurant where you put away dishes in separate containers for utensils, dishes and garbage. Restaurant was too bright and definitely feels like a fast food place. Not sure if I’d go back.
Panda Express
This place is busy okay a Saturday night! My wife ordered take out so we could relax in the hotel after long days sightseeing. She enjoyed her meal and couldn't finish it all! Great portion sizes! Also great fortune she got and I had to add "in bed" 😉
I ordered a bigger plate 3 types of beef with broccoli I got a few leftover beef I was looking for a long time terrible I will never order again total Bull.....
Flaming Grill
This was a rather lack luster experience. I walked in not expecting much bang for the buck. The food was rather mediocre. Some foods were downright flavorless or otherwise bad. I wouldn't come back here to eat. The decor here is very nicely done. But the food needs to be done as good as the decor. Staff are patrolling for empty dishes and clear tables and refill drinks pretty quickly so I have no qualms about service here... place gets quite busy seemingly. Perhaps we don't know where the good dishes are. At 12.00 a head this restaurant is barely worth the money. Some changes will need to be made if they want to make it in such a competitive area. However accessibility in a wheelchair here is very well taken care of.
This is a new place that took over residence in the old Old Country Buffet place. For those wondering this buffet offers the exact same food as Hibachi Grill. The same like they should be a Hibachi Grill .... but they're not. The food is bad and cold. But the cold could be the fact the air conditioning is on in the winter so bad you can see everyone huddled up and wearing coats. There is nothing that involves a flame here. The hibache grill that cooks the food is not a flame, its a giant hot plate. Some of the food is mislabeled too. Crab Rangoon are not Cheese Wontons. There were a few people pointing it out as Crab Rangoon. My girlfriend normally chows down food at Hibachi Grill... but here she tried bits of everything and found plenty of stuff she didn't like. She didn't like so much there were 2 entire plates of food just sitting there. Eventually the waitress asked to take it away. Entire plates of food. That's embarrassing. The price is around $10 per person. I suggest avoiding this place. Even on the way out two people asked if we liked the food... because they didn't. Sorry this review might just seem like bashing a brand new place, but it had some problems. I wanted to see if the food even had ignited warming flames underneath the food. Please just go to Hibachi. I'm sorry, but if this place serves Hibachi's menu but isn't a Hibachi Grill, that probably means they weren't good enough for the franchise :-(
