Wonton Gourmet
Normally I get the Sweet and Sour chicken here cause I like it so much . Tonight for a change up I went with Singapore Noodles and a side of Rangoons. Lots of positive review for the noodles. They were spot on. The noodles were great. Very tasty. Shrimp, scallions , peppers, beef, egg and noodles. Not spicy but has a great flavor. Portion almost enough for 2 so good value . If you want something good to try and you look noodles order this dish! I know I will order it again for sure!!
For me one of the best Chinese restaurant. Maybe is not fancy but food is very tasty. I recommend beef stew noodle soup. Soup is absolutely the best.
Orange & Chicken Des Plaines
The best Chinese food I’ve had in Chicago. The flavor is amazing, the portions are big with plenty of protein, and it’s delicious, cheap, and filling. The service is top-notch. This will definitely be my favorite spot for Chinese food. You won’t regret visiting!
I had the orange chicken special for lunch, which is coated in batter and covered in a crimson sauce. I believed I had the wrong item. The sauce was decent; it reminded me of ketchup because it was both sweet and acidic. However, the sauce's tint wasn't what I was used to. Due to the sauce and moisture interaction, the chicken lost its texture. Although the fried rice was simple, I was startled to see chicken chunks in it. Though the pricing and portion were excellent, the food is not up to pace.
Pad Thai Restaurant
I was in the area and wanted to try something oriental dish. So i tried this place. Nice food and delicious. They have plenty of options in their menu. The place look like its kinda old. The service is also great. Its fast. The dumplings was heated in the microwave. Because the inside was cold while the outside was hot.
I arrived when there was a lunch special available. I upgraded their panang (rice dish) to beef at an extra fee. A single fried vegetable egg roll and a small cup of tom yum soup are included in the lunch special. Although the soup appears thin, its flavor is still present and not overbearing because it wasn't very sour. The scent of spices and lemongrass are pleasant. The egg roll was nicely crispy. The veggie filling has a flavorful seasoning. It has carrots, onions, and cabbage. Along with it was a side of sour and sweet sauce to dip. The panang was appealing served with rice. The deep orange color of the red curry gravy is enhanced by the bright red hue of the bell pepper and a hint of earthy green basil. The texture of the red curry is thick and velvety, unlike anything I had imagined. The flavor's complexity left my taste buds wanting more; it was savory, creamy, spicy, and sweet. I liked it so much that I ate it all, but the portion was modest, and I was still hungry, so I got their appetizer, chicken wings, afterwards. There were six pieces. It contains a pleasing balance of flats and drums. It will undoubtedly be filling due to its large size. Due to the wings' heavy coating of chili sauce, the outside lost its crispy quality. Don't be misled by the chili flakes; the Thai chili sauce is more sweet than fiery. It's actually rather moderate. The meat was not done enough. When I confronted the staff and discovered that the flesh was still red and bleeding, they apologized and sent the wings back to the kitchen to be cooked again. I couldn't be angry because the staff informed me before I placed my order that the wings would take longer because of the process, so I was frustrated that I had to wait a long time for them and that they had to be sent back at the same time. I had their Khao Tom Mud for dessert; it's a simple but tasty dish made of sticky rice with a fresh banana filling and wrapped in a banana leaves. The sticky rice was fragile and gooey at the same time. The banana filling was tender; it also had an undertone of sweetness. The texture of the bean is somewhat solid. The flavor truly hit the spot, and it has a very nostalgic taste that makes me think of something my mom used to give me when I was younger. If they have added coconut milk, it will be excellent. It was a nice lunch, the food was good, there was some troubleshooting, but it was resolved, and I would most certainly return.
Nomads Mongolian & Asian Food
Used to be my favorite Gamja Tang place amongst all the Korean restaurants. The restaurant is now owned by Mongolian. While they still have Korean dishes and still good, there are Mongolian dishes too. Nice addition of variety and they taste good too.
Mongolian cuisine in America, Nomads offers several delicious dishes that bring a taste of Mongolia's rich culinary traditions to the table, so yummy and cannot wait my cheat days. I will order Huushuur for my kids birthday ...
Euro Grill
From a visit back in May. Wanted to introduce a friend to Balkan food. Delicious and accessible in the suburbs. Only wish that the menu specified what sort of meat is used for the ćevapi so there is no mystery
Very delicious Albanian, Bosnian, Turkish style food ! We got them mixed grill, meat platter with bread, and it was delicious. Highly recommend the Turkish coffee also.
Big House
There was not much to praise about the interior. The furnishings are plain and simple. The furniture is clean and well-maintained. It also makes me feel at ease especially first time coming here. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to adjust my original entree order of their yook gae jang to bool go gi dup bob. The thin, tender slices of beef were combined with mushrooms, scallions, and white onions. Its flavor is weak, but its texture is perfect. Luckily, a complimentary tiny side dish was included to go with the meal. I liked that it gave the bland beef more taste. Since the side dishes are provided at no cost, feel free to ask for a refill. It came with a mildly flavored soup on the side to wash it down. The food was served hot at my table, which I appreciated, and the service was prompt. Although they could do better at paying attention, the personnel was polite. Although the food is average, the price is affordable. I hope to return and sample more of their dishes. It doesn't seem like the food I ordered did justice and that’s why I want to give them a second chance. Thank you for the meal.
Cozy Korean restaurant. Big House in Korean means something like older relative's house. The menu has items you would find at family gatherings. Looking forward to coming back.

Shree Rasoi Indian Fine Cuisine
Unfortunately our experience was terrible, and I hate writing bad reviews, but the way Rasoi conducted business during our wedding weekend was unacceptable and listed below are many of our grievances. **BEFORE READING** This review is based on their catering service. Rasoi’s favorable reviews may come from the good events that Ankit’s father did while running the business, they catered my brother’s wedding and they did a great job overall. It seems like now Ankit is in charge of most of the operation and the difference between the service provided at my brother’s wedding versus mine was night and day. I will also say that the food was delicious, and perhaps they could handle a one day event but it’s just hard to give a positive review when everything my wife planned so hard to be perfect could have been fixed with a little bit of competence. 1. Did not bring proper equipment to mendhi venue AFTER already knowing what they needed to bring, ended up using the venue’s equipment which would have resulted in additional charges if our wedding planner didn’t intervene. 2. We had a live food station planned at mendhi and during the event they decided it wasn’t feasible anymore AFTER already conducting a site visit 3. Brought tubs of ice cream for mendhi desert (Falooda) and served all desert without ice cream and left tubs of ice cream at the venue. How can you serve falooda with no ice cream? 4. Left mendhi event early without cleaning up kitchen. Planner had to call them and ask if they plan on returning The rest of these problems occurred at our main event space (Westin) over 2 days worth of events. 5. Did not turn on any of the gas heaters for the food buffets for any breakfasts and some of the buffet lines at two more events (incompetence) 6. I know it’s the same as number five but it should be stated again that food was cold at random stations for 5 meals 7. Had to hunt down Rasoi team members just to refill buffet lines at almost every single event 8. For reception we had planned and had approved a family style dinner with Rasoi and our venue, the venue went above and beyond with the plating and more than enough staff to accommodate a family style dinner but Rasoi ruined it. 9. For family style dinner (tables of 8) they thought serving 4 pieces of naan in each basket was acceptable (common sense problem which could have been avoided if we mentioned we wanted more naan on each table but in what world does an experienced caterer think 4 naan is good for tables of 8, we should not have to hold their hands through this) 10. We printed out menu cards for the table because it was family style and they plain FORGOT two menu items that we paid for, planned for, and printed on the menus 11. Food service took forever because Ankit was ladling food by himself even though we paid for a whole team of caterers and ADDITIONAL caterers after confirming the family style dinner. The Westin staff was waiting in lines just to get food on their trays to serve. We would have happily paid more if Ankit said he would need more people but he didn’t. Instead, he ruined the experience and served cold food and small portions. 12. It deserves repeating that the whole dinner service took an hour and a half to complete (275 guests) and second servings were almost impossible. 13. The venue provided them multiple hotboxes and they decided not to use them for any event. This is the harshest review that I have written but it accurately reflects our experience and I would not recommend Rasoi for anyone’s wedding.
Really good chicken tikka masala, I asked for naan, he said they didn't have it but they had roti??? I think that's the name. I said ok sure. It is thinner than naan but really good. Great customer service. There is no dine in at all, only take out. Inside is ok, not much going on. Will come back & will remember to ask to make it spicier. I didn't know you could choose the level of spicy.
