New China Mandarin Restaurant
Disappointing “chicken fried rice” zero veggies no egg and barely pcs of chicken. 5/10 on the orange chicken. Got the appetizer combo and just tasted like oil. 0/10 I don’t ever feel the need to leave a review. Don’t recommend.
I’ve been coming here for a long time, and I can say with confidence that this has to be my favorite Chinese food place of all time. I always get the chicken lo mein and plain fried rice, and I’m never disappointed in all of the times I’ve gotten it. I ask for changes with my lo mein and they are extremely accommodating when it comes to that, which I always appreciate. The service and atmosphere is always welcoming! The staff is always extremely kind, and their food portions are very ample. One of Addison’s hidden gems in my opinion, I will always recommend this place to anyone who wants Chinese food, and I will always stick to this place whenever I have a craving. My favorite place in Addison hands down! For those who have had one bad experience, don’t let that stop you from at least trying this place again.
Bok Choy Asian Kitchen - Addison
I believe this place used to be a sushi restaurant. Maybe they changed name or just same owner. Food is amazing for our dinner. We had some sushi, calamari, shrimps. It was good. The ambiance was very nice and no problem with the parking. Many choices in the menu but could only eat a few. Would come back to try another dish
Is really average food My n my friend we all Asian but we felt the server just want to go home ASAP my friend got a shrimp salad and find a sticker on the avocado , they did changed the new one but shrimp was over grilled so got really bitter. Even we kinda of give it a hint about it doesn't taste good but I guess they just want you to pay anyway. The decoration was cool but confusing because more like a Chinese thing then Japanese Spicy is mark is not really useful is not spicy at all guys. Food in general was ok but overpriced Is you want to take photos or seat at somewhere cool I guess you can come here
Cilantro Taco Grill - Addison
almost didnt order because of all the bad reviews but i ordered an asada burrito with just meat cheese and beans, it was decent. the salsas are bland, will be trying again to get a taste of what else they have on the menu
First time here. Had the asada(steak burrito which is very good sized and all the ingredients are fresh daily. Great prices for what you get. Fresh salsas are out in squeeze jars for use. The medium was hot enough for me and you could tell it was made recently. They are in talks of selling franchises and I think they may do well if the can keep a handle on the quality. Good luck and thanks. They have minimal seating is the only drawback I saw.
Ming's Garden
Food comes out fresh, hot, and delicious every time! it’s simple to order and not very expensive. the service is super friendly and you can tell they care about their customers :)
Came from out of town on Christmas Day for a quick sit down dinner between travelling, even though we were the only ones in the dining area whilst they got tens of online orders we still got excellent service and the food came out quickly despite the other orders also being made. The food itself is the best Chinese Takeout I have had in a long time, would definitely recommend and go again!
Jade Dynasty Restaurant & Bar
We had a wonderful dim sum experience here! You can select items from their dim sum menu or their regular menu. We selected a whole bunch of different items from their dim sum menu. They had many variations in dumplings, buns, deserts, and larger specialty noodle dishes. The service was truly exceptional. The wait staff were very attentive and kind. The food was brought out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Our favorites were the bbq pork buns, baked bbq pork buns, bbq pork pastry, soup dumplings, and sesame balls. We are looking forward to being back again.
One of my new favorite places for Chinese food in the twin cities. The food is quality was great - the same owner from the Hong Kong noodles restaurant on the u of m campus opened this, so the food was similar. The portions are smaller compared to Hong Kong noodles. The environment and vibe is really nice. However, I think the vibe is better to hang out with friends than family (my grandma did not particularly like the loud music). The pricing is a bit more (but maybe because of inflation?). We got fresh eel and it was $60, which I think was higher than expected, but the fish was super good and fresh. The other dishes on average were around $20-25. I love the service here, they’re super personable and make sure you have everything you need. Our food was delayed and our waitress ended up gifting us a dessert dish. Would definitely continue to come back!
Big Tony Foods Inc
The fried rice is delicious. The service is extremely slow though. It's two old guys in there cooking so if you want good food, prepare for a long wait. They don't take call in orders it's first come first serve. And it's cash only. It's a decent mom and pop restaurant with reasonable prices.
Big Tony's has been around since I was a young girl knocking on 50'. Don't discount this restaurant cause of the area good food reasonable prices. I have had everything on the menu truthfully. Chicken wings are a hit, tacos/super tacos, Chinese food I could go on an on!! Chop steaks etc...
Jin's Chop Suey
Tasty and great quantities. Hot n sour soup was great. Happy fortune cookie 🥠 knocking a star because I missed having a set of chopsticks. Kinda my own fault though 🙃
Authentic food. Generous portions, but it didn't make up for the taste. The establishment does not appear very clean, and not to make any excuses for them, but I understand how difficult it would be to keep a place clean that uses so much oil in their cooking.
Silver Lake Chinese Restaurant
We love this place ❤️ food it's amazing serv it's great very clean nice atmosphere you must tried
Driver dropped my food off and didn't call it set at a desk for 30 minutes and got cold. And I left the moron on a $5 tip is it asking too much to make a phone call.
Good Luck Chop Suey
By far the absolute worst meal I’ve had. The pad Thai noodles turned to mush as soon as a touched them. And the curry tasted like spit and baby puke. I’m literally not joking. I absolutely LOVE Asian food but holy hell this was the worst I’ve ever had. I threw 35 dollars of food in the trash and am going to eat McDonald’s. I wouldn’t even give this food the a homeless person that hadn’t eaten in days.
We have been ordering food from this restaurant for our employees every week, and today, when we opened one of entrees' cover, there was a crushed cockroach as the photo. This is not acceptable and tells me how they maintain their kitchen. We will no longer order food from this restaurant.
