Chayhana
Good portion size. Clean and nice restaurant. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking to try Central Asian food!
It was my first time visiting Chicago and I wanted to try and compare Uzbekistan food there and in San Francisco where I came from. So, the food was amazing and much cheaper than in SF. I liked the most manty.
Broccoli Restaurant
Food here is amazing that it will make you keep coming back for more! I had the curry soup and it was so flavorful, I'm salivating while thinking about it :). I've had other dishes also and did not disappoint. The place is super clean and the decor is trendy. Staff is very nice and friendly.
Delicious! Very worth the prices charged. We got 5 different dishes and each were so wonderful. The portions were good too. 5 out of 5 great food. The server was accurate with our order. I normally don't have this type of food yet I would say that my soul was fed when I ate here. Sighs of satisfaction pulsed from my chest uncontrollably. Try this place. Disregard price. It's worth it.
Rose's Chinese Restaurant
First time trying this place out. I was blown away. The service was amazing. She was so sweet and kind. I had the honey walnut shrimp and Singapore noodles (outer ends). My friend ordered the other items (don’t remember). By far, the best take I ever had. Definitely will be back to try other dishes.
We both ordered Mongolian Beef. My manager thought the portions were small, the rice was bland, and the beef was good but she prefers it more spicy. I really liked my whole lunch special. Yes there were only 6 pieces of beef as another reviewer mentioned but those 6 were good quality, easy to bite into and tear and very tasty. Dare I say the best most tender beef I've had in a Mongolian Beef lunch special ever 10/10. The sauce was not very watery. I do prefer my Mongolian to come with mushrooms so that was a bit of a bummer. The egg roll was crispy on the outside and very tasty on the inside 10/10. It came with a side of chicken fried rice which I enjoyed very much 10/10. I didn't mind the small amount of beef because I just ate the veggies with the delicious chicken fried rice. I would get this again and am interested in trying their Seasame Chicken as I see it gets alot of reviews. The person who took my order was so happy and very helpful. The delivery person was very nice as well. For 2 Mongolian Beef lunch specials it was about $25 for delivery (before tip). Maybe to combat the smaller amount of beef they can give you an option for more meat for an additional $2 or something along those lines, just a thought.
Hoy's Chinese Restaurant
Food is always delicious. This is our go to place for Chinese food, our favorite by far. Service is always excellent, everyone there is always very nice
I decided to try Hoy’s Chinese because it has good ratings. However, I was disappointed with the lack of service, the dinnerware, and the price of the food. I ordered the orange chicken with rice and a mango guava green tea. The orange chicken was fresh and had a good flavor; however, the pieces were too big for a bite and, in the tray, were impossible to cut. The rice was mediocre and served on a paper plate. The mango guava tea was so sweet that I could not taste any fruit, just cups and cups of sugar. TERRIBLE The bad tea alone was $5.25, PLUS mango jelly was $0.85, a MISTAKE. DO SKIP THIS ONE The price for my mediocre meal was $17.33 plus tip. The servings were large, so I took the leftovers home. I ate the leftovers at night, and they were terrible. Gave the white rice to the pigeons. Bad choice to eat at Hoy’s. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

#Mantra is a bit upscale #IndianCuisine. The interior is very comforting with good hospitality. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable. They have some unique dishes including “Kathal ke Kabab” and “Fish Curry”. The recipe is slightly different than North Indian recipe but good and tasty. They have #halal options. Though a bit spendy, the servings are generous. Nimbu-Masala/Masal Soda was excellent and refreshing. #Chicago #Illinois #Indian #travel #food
El Chilito Bravo
Amazing! It's a small restaurant that makes you feel at home. The service is great, the food is delicious and the bathrooms are clean and smelled very good. I will definitely be coming back. It was closing time and they were still encouraging us to order and they were very nice about it.

Number 1 Chop Suey
Food is delicious better than expected prices are good for the amount you get and I got a fast delivery for the amount of food I ordered and the delivery boy was patient, smoothee tastes good and refreshing, beef fried rice is savory and tasty, orange chicken is nice and sweet and sour with very little spice with it, crab Rangoon are nicely filled and are crispy has to be the best spot I've ordered from
Ok so this place deserves a better rep for sure. Nobody asked me to leave a review... I just moved here in October(2024) and this is my first time trying it because I never saw it hiding in this squished strip mall. But this is really good food. Egg Roll, Crab Rangoon and Orange Beef. Big Portions. Ready in under 20 minutes. All very good even tho next time I'd go w/ beef w/o breading. Authentic Chinese folks at the kitchen... Fast... No Bs... Good energy... Give this place a shot if you haven't already.
Taqueria Amigo Chino
Very good food and service. The 2 young women who took care of me were so sweet and helpful. The food is delicious and the serving sizes are sooo big, and very good prices for the sizes too. I definitely recommend

Lo's China Kitchen
This is such a great find. I just had an amazing combo kung pow meal that was fresh and hot. Will be coming back here for sure. Hidden gem. Probably better for take out but if you’re hungry there’s no reason not to stop by and eat in.
Love their dinner combo!! Veggie rice was perfect, cant stop eating it!!
House of Wah Sun
Wanted to come here since they opened and finally had the opportunity. Since chicken and broccoli is so hit or miss here in Chicago, I opted for the “safer” general tso’s chicken, which lacked spice and was actually really sweet. The sauce was just drizzled over the chicken, leaving much of it dry and hard, not at all the meal I had hoped for. The primary reason I wanted to try out this restaurant was for the egg rolls, but that too was filled with this disappointing paste, instead of the usual egg roll filling I was looking forward to. Glad I finally got to try it, now I can cross this place off my list.
First off I used to love this place when it was located on Lincoln! We went here on Irving Park and we were so disappointed. The food was tasteless! The rice was just dark and no flavor! The Szechuan tofu again was tasteless! The tofu they use is way too soft. The sauce had no flavor and it wasn’t even all that spicy. One thing I will say is the vegetables were fresh. The crab Rangoon was overly fried. We felt so uncomfortable because the waitress kept coming to our table every 3 minutes refilling our water. We felt very rushed. They were closing at 2:30 and we got there at 1:50 we had plenty of time to eat in peace, but that definitely didn’t happen. The We will not be going back.
Orange Garden Restaurant
9/17 - I have been going to this terrific Chinese restaurant since my grandparents took me there in the 1950’s. Always great food and fast service. Anna and Julie are warm and friendly. 12/2 - Another great dinner. Love coming here. Anna and Ben are terrific waiters staff. 12/25 - Delightful to go on Christmas Day. Anna and Matt were terrific hosts. 2/10 - A terrific dinner. Ben was, as always, very friendly at the checkout! 3/12 - A great meal with very large proportions. Enough for two more meals at home. Anna and Ben were terrific. 4/3 - Ben and Julie were very friendly. Love this restaurant.
This place never disappoints! Best egg rolls and crab ragoon that I’ve found. Definitely get the sesame chicken. Cute little neighborhood Chinese spot that’s been here for years!
Fat Noodles - Portage Park
I ordered Pad Thai and some egg rolls. The order was 22 minutes late. The worst Pad Thai I have tasted. It tasted like it came out of a can. I threw 3/4 of it in the garbage. I will never order from here again.
