Tony's Chinese & American Restaurant
My first time here, my boyfriend and I sat down for a quick lunch after we finished work. The food came out fast, was delicious and the server was so nice. She was attentive and took care of everything and everyone really well on her own. We will definitely be back. :-)
This place just isn’t what it used to be. My mom used to stay in the area years ago so I used to go there every time I visited. It was amazing. Recently? I moved to the area and it’s just not the same. There’s a disconnect with their online ordering partners and the restaurant so you don’t know when your order is done until you call. When I followed up, my crab ragoon was salty, the chicken was too, and of course my egg foo young was burnt again. I only get it burnt from here. There’s a place in Broadview that I go to when I visit my Grandma and I’ve never gotten burnt egg foo young in the 10 times I’ve had it! I don’t know if the next generation have taken over this place and maybe that’s why the same care isn’t put into the food, but it’s just not good. I tossed my left overs. I tried to complain on the ordering site but that was no help. I wish they cared more than to just slap subpar food in a container and pretend that they didn’t notice it. I pray they learn to take the same type of care and consideration over the food they sale their customers as the previous generation once did. But until then, I’d rather travel 25 minutes out of my way for better food.
Peking Cajun Seafood
Came with 3 friends and ordered crab Rangoon, spicy combo fried rice, sweet chicken and combo noodle. I have to tell you not only did the food taste food, the service was excellent, even tho they were super super busy. My new favorite spot!!! Thank you guys!
Found this gem near our home. Great finger licking food, seasoning right on point. Had their crab legs with garlic, house chow mean fun, shrimp rice, and vegetable soup was amazing. They have sleection of wines and beer. beautiful decor and atmosphere. Service was really good, lovely hospitality. Is hidden inside the plaza, and I recommend everyone try it. It will be a pleasant great surprise.
Little Tokyo Restaurant
The food was wonderful. We receive samples so we could decide what we wanted to order. Would you recommend the sesame chicken and the hot and spicy chicken? You also get your choice of two sides and the portion size is very generous.
By far the best Chicken teriyaki I’ve had in a while. The portions are exceptional, I can honestly say I’ve never been let down. The servers are really nice ladies and occasionally a man, They are all wonderful. I highly recommend if you stop by Gurnee Mills.
E C'S Asian Station
AMAZING!!!! First time visiting this delicious place and I am in LOVE! The restaurant is clean, smells good, plenty of parking and greeted with a beautiful smile. Our waitress Susan was so friendly and sweet! The minute I asked for gluten free options she gave me so many options it was hard to decide. We had egg drop soup, lettuce wraps, fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Yes sweet and sour chicken. Honestly I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for offering such delicious and fresh food.
There is so much that went wrong with my experience. To start the food took over an HOUR. Also I had to send back some of the food as it was cold and undercooked. After another long wait time I found a hair in my food. Please do not waste your time and money here.
Bombay Chopsticks by India House-Chicago
Best Indian food in Chicago. We had buffet lunch here and it was absolutely delicious. A must have for all foodies. I also tasted indo-chineese feom Bombay Chopsticks and it definitely is one of my favorite place. Kudos to all the staffs at Bombay Chopsticks.
I was happy to discover a nice indian restaurant in downtown chicago, serving “indo chinese”, but my experience was disappointing I ordered - 1. honey chilli potatoes- they were just frozen fries tossed in a mediocre sweet chily sauce 2. Bombay chopsticks hakka noodles- super bland, but okay 3. Chicken manchurian with gravy- super bland and had no flavor at all. The chicken pieces were as if just boiled chicken chunks. I would not come here expecting real indo chinese.
Cajun Grill
Ordered the cajun shrimp combo, sides: fried rice and egg roll. Regretted it instantly. They do not devein their shrimp and the egg roll was stale.
In this better location, the food is only good when it is first made in the morning. By 1pm or starts to taste old. 🤔 also they use a lot of cheap inflammatory seed oils. These are not genuine avocado oil, so you are gunna get TONS of massive head and body inflammation the next day!!! There are 2 locations here, and I'm rating the much better one that is closer to the ice skating rink. Don't go to the other one because they really suck. Only go to the one near the ice skating rink!!! Anyway... This place is rated 3.7, but I think it is a 4.3. The price makes it a 3 star, however... The food tastes great. Vegetables are perfectly seasoned. It is too expensive for foodcourt food, however. Gotta lower them prices just a tad for it to be in the ranks to be considered as food court food
