I once was living in the Chicago area. I always order from Chinese chef. Day fool number one and then I move out into the suburbs. And now I'm back in the Chicago area. And now I'm back ordering food from Chinese chef. Because the food is still delicious. There are still number one. And service and all.

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I never toss food but this was so disgusting that it went directly on the trash. I got the veggie chow mein. It was 95% bean sprouts with some broccoli, a few random veggies and covered in some sort of flavorless slime, served with a bag of, no joke, dehydrated fried noodles. I also got a veggie egg roll and i honestly dont know what was in the egg roll. There were no distinguishable flavors nor could i visually tell ...garbage. I figued I could at least get a meal out of the fried rice....nope. it had some weird chemical tasted to it. Like it had been cooked in a cleaner. How does a Chinese restaurant screw up fried rice!!??!! How this place has any star above 1 is mind blowing to me!

Absolutely loved coming here, the food was inexpensive and they gave a lot more than what was expected for the amount paid. I came here with my sister, and my father. We ordered three lunch specials, each comes with an egg roll, hot and sour or eggdrop soup and either steamed or fried rice. No rice is included if you other noodles. The price of this was, if I recall correctly was approximately like 6-7$. The environment was lovely, the workers were really sweet! The food was outstanding, especially the eggdrop soup. It was my first time trying such a soup and the worker was kind enough o explain what each option was to me. Id love to return, and may do so! I recommend this location. I do have to say, the fried rice tasted a little bland, and dry. It may because I’ve tasted a lot of fried rice in my lifetime, and have some expectations to how it should taste that may have affected my judgment. Nonetheless, I feel this was good to point out. (Blurred my families faces for privacy reasons, it as well looks beautiful this way as well. Unique)

Solid spot. It’s our favorite Chinese takeout in the neighborhood. Usually get the orange chicken, fried rice and pad Thai. Never close please 🥰

Very good tasty and fresh polish food. Good portions for the price. Crowdy at lunch time tells it's popular. Their strongest point is food, not interior design, which is not bad compared to similar joints in the hood. They have nice private room for parties. Recommended.

Please go and meet Olivia at Olivia’s Taste she is super sweet. The food was amazing! She even got me to try the beets; which were super tasty. I highly recommend Olivia’s Taste.

Small Chinese restaurant, I ordered shrimp fried rice was ok needed like bit spicy i asked for some shiracha they want to charge me for it. Dining in restaurants you provide all needs for you food taste better one star for that and I tip them 20%

Love this place! Curry chicken is my go to. We get a large and it’s enough to share. Great vegetarian egg rolls and dumplings. They’ll accommodate special requests, just ask. They have a great selection of vegetarian entrees too. Very tiny for dining in but they do have some seats.

Jin Asian Cafe

Great Chinese food at a reasonable price. The Governor’s chicken was tender and flavorful. The combo fried rice was flavorful.

Found out about Jin Asian Cafe from a local Facebook Group. It’s one of if not the ONLY place in Chicago that has ABC- Almond Boneless Chicken (War Su Gai) which is a Southeastern Michigan / Northern Ohio staple. I ordered it immediate and was blown away by how deliciously authentic they prepared it - just like what I grew up with in Michigan. Crispy breading, tender chicken, and mouthwatering gravy. Jessica the owner was so welcoming and recommended other specialities which I’ll try on the next visit. Definitely check it out!

Jess Cafe

I recently ordered from Jess Cafe and was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and affordability of the meal. The spring rolls, fried rice, lo mein were flavorful and delicious. Not only were the dishes all delicious, but the prices were very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!

Some of their food was good, but some threw me off. Would come back to try their other menu items. Korean style bbq short ribs - great, would highly recommend Pepper and salt smelt - would recommend, if you like spicy, I recommend asking for more peppers maybe? Walnut shrimp - this dish threw me off, the batter they used is not the typical one that you'd expect for this dish. Minced garlic chinese broccoli - was okay, it felt lacking seasoning for me.
