The house tea was delicious. Some of the food was amazing, while some was just alright. The shrimp dumplings, sushi roll, and udon we ordered were fresh and delicious. We did not care for the duck appetizer or the chow mein, which were too greasy.

The sticky dumplings weren’t really my taste, but the rest of the dishes were above average for Chinese cuisine. The place is clean and spacious, even though it is near the art museum so you can enjoy your meal without feeling crowded by others.

Our visit to Haidilao Hot Pot in Chicago turned out to be the perfect experience we needed. The first Chicago Haidilao experience was amazing! My cousins took my family and I there. Atmosphere was welcoming, clean and neat as well. My kids loved the food delivery machine “kitty.” Also, not to mention, great service from servant named Erin. She was very friendly, quick, and responsive to our needs; super helpful throughout the dinner. My kids were gifted with lovely cute fan toys even though they knocked out by then. It for sure made our Chicago food adventure more pleasure than ever! Recommended for everyone who lives or plan to visit Chicago!

Overall, the food was ok. The chicken was salty. I think the chef used the wrong soy sauce. The short ribs are also salty. The beef stew was excellent. The tender and flavor were just perfect. Service is very good. Parking is limited.

The food was a tid salty and the portions were a little small for it's price. The sweet and sour pork had little too no sauce so it was very dry. Lobster noodle was decent. It came with two lobster, pretty average size, noodles were seasoned and al dente. There is free parking in the back. Service was good and the place is nice. They kept the interior the same as the Thai place before it. Place is a little cramped but there's about 15 tables there and a bar.
