The restaurant was small and exquisite, with a ceiling adorned with the Kyrgyz flag’s totem. We started with Boosork bread, which had a chewy and soft texture that reminded us of New Orleans beignets, but with the addition of sweet sour cream. It was delicious! The Tashkent chai, a mix of black tea, green tea, mint, and lime, was refreshingly flavorful. The cheburek, resembling Argentinian empanadas, was filled with minced beef and cilantro and was a hit with the boys. I preferred the Samsa, which had a strong beef flavor. We highly recommend the eggplant salad, featuring a candy-like exterior, soft eggplant, and a sweet sauce. Our friend said it was the best eggplant dish he’s ever had. The Manty were like large dumplings with a pure beef flavor, complemented by a tomato sauce, quite different from those in other countries. The Boso lagman noodles had an incredibly springy texture. Each dish had its unique characteristics, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend giving this place a try.

This place has THE BEST CENTRAL ASIAN FOOD!!! Service is amazing, food is on another level and everyone is so nice and welcoming! We came in here to celebrate my friend’s birthday and they were so kind to give us their special cake bringing candles and lights with music! This experience was so special and I will definitely be coming back here soon! My favorite place in Chicago 💯

Ordered food not that long ago and was insulted by the delivery guy! First of all, Your caller ID was reading the wrong phone number!!!!! You never called my phone. Let’s get that straight right now. Next time you should watch your mouth. I will never order from there again just because of how I was treated and talked to. Thanks for ruining my dinner. Have a nice Sunday.

This place is great for take-out! Its quick simple chinese food that tastes great so I don't know why people have to complain so much... The jalapeño chicken is my favorite, but they also have some interesting different options as well! I jus tried their Japnese Yaki Udon seafood dish and it was pretty good too! I am a big fan of artificial crab so of course I would love it. Also have to say the lady who works here is always kind and she is extra helpful with making sure my partner is able to get his items Gluten-free! We have to add our own sauces at home but that is great for him since its hard to get gluten-free chineese food in general other than fried rice.

Food is absolutely terrible. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs. I ordered an orange chicken, the chicken was slimy and soggy. I also ordered the crab Rangoon, and I’ve never ordered from a place that some how found a way to mess it up. No flavor and had a weird after taste. I literally threw away all of it. That’s how bad it was. Also, uber eats has this at 4.5 starts and I feel like that was a lie. I’d avoid this place. With all the Chinese restaurants in Chicago, you do not need to order from here.

I've gotten takeout from here several times and have never had a bad experience. The food is good, the portions are big, the prices are fair and they're VERY fast. I especially recommend the egg rolls, honey shrimp and garlic pork, but really everything I've had has been great.

Shanghai Inn Restaurant

We had delivery so I can’t comment on service or atmosphere. I had the Mongolian beef and my partner had the beef with broccoli (not pictured) and we split some crab raccoons and egg rolls. The Mongolian beef was good with portions. We both ordered large so we could veg the next day. The Beef wasn’t chewy and fair w/ vegetable portions. It wasn’t bad but I’ll probably try something different next time. The crab raccoons were pretty decent with filling and size. The tips were winged and super crispy. I saw “crabmeat “ unlike some other places that just fill it with cream cheese. The egg rolls were fairly portioned and the crisp level was 10/10 filling was average not lacking flavor.

Shanghai inn really is a blast from the past. It brings back memories of how Chinese restaurants used to be feel like. So I like that a lot. The quality was really good. The best dish was the shrimp fried rice! I would highly recommend that dish!

Chop Suey Huang

Chop Suey Huang has some of the best house fried rice that I’ve ever had! The rice was so rich with flavors and fresh and tasted just as good as hibachi fried rice. They also have these huge chicken wings that are to die for! The wings are seasoned to perfection and taste so fresh. The chicken didn’t have a bad scent and tasted very good I highly recommend. Their low mein is also very delicious as well! Very well prepared and put together with its how they were to make it taste so good! The vegetable rolls are also so good. Customer service is wonderful as well you won’t be disappointed ordering your food here!

I love going here for some food. The staff is really friendly and quick, and the place is clean. Plus, the prices are good, and you get a lot of food. Definitely check it out if you're in the mood for some great Chinese food!

Asian Garden

Used to get Tom Lee all the time so was bummed to see it close but I’ve already ordered from here several times and love it. Food is not bland, portions are great, and the staff is very nice. I miss having smoothies be available but I imagine keeping those would have been too much in addition to all the new food options (chicken katsu was really tasty!). Oh well! I still will be back.

I get takeout here quite often and while I do miss Tom lees and feel their fried rice was better people need to chill with the 1 star reviews. They are new and they will improve. It’s not 1 star food.
