Tony's Kitchen 0

Tony's Kitchen

Tony's Kitchen is the house on the block that everyone goes to hang out and eat comfort food. This hidden gem on the corner serves up some great tasting meals. The menu is typical of greasy spoon without being "greasy". The staff treats you like visiting your grandparents without the attitude or awkwardness. Service and temps are on point. Ordered Heuvos and Jamon and an egg sandwich to go. The sides and toast were toasted perfectly and the eggs overeasy. The prices at Tony's Kitchen are a third of what you would pay at MDW. Warning, the coffee is strong and will put hair on your chest. Tony's Kitchen deserves a well earned five stars.

The food here is delicious and fresh! A bonus is how nice the owner is, he is very genuinely caring about clients and loves ti strike up conversation to get ti know his customers. I love that such a great place exists so close to home!

Wing Wah must have gotten new owners because everything i ordered that I've been ordering for years ALL tastes different and nasty!!! Everything tasted like cinnamon! The egg rolls, egg foo young and fried rice all tasted like it had cinnamon in it. Definitely not the same food and the original lady that is always there was not there when i went there to pick up. Awful, absolutely awful tasting food!

Well I've been buying the food in this place over 20 years. Always been good. . Now they got a new owners but the food is still good so definitely recommend and really nice new owners

I ordered the sweet & sour chicken combo with shrimp fried rice along with a side of broccoli. The chicken was old & hard and barely any sauce. The rice was greasy as well. Arguably the best item was the broccoli smh. I'm not sure what happened because this used to be my spot but my last few orders have been a complete disappointment. I don't think I'll be revisiting..

Food was delicious! I had the orange chicken with combination fried rice and an egg roll. Also ordered a mango smoothie with tapioca that was amazing! Service was excellent; the lady was very welcoming and wonderful, will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely horrible . The noodles look like they’ve been chewed and put on plate .. wife ordered 2 broc and beefs .. we counted 4 pieces of beef and 30 broccoli .. driest rice of our lives .. what a joke . Go elsewhere

Pretty sorry service. I have been here several times and every time I have to repeat everything at least twice because the staff are simply not listening. Management appear to rarely if ever be out on the floor so they cannot know their staff needs better training. The chow mein noodles are dry beyond belief and it's clear they simply do not cook it with enough moisture. I'm quite sure I will not return for another visit unless there are some serious changes made.
