This restaurant is in YMCA, serving decent Thai & Chinese food, which only open at lunch time 10:30-3:30. I didn't know this place before, but it turned out that I'm having very good experience with their food. They offer a very large serving of food and the taste is very good. The price is ~$10 per plate including Rice/PadThai + 2 toppings + 1 eggroll/drink. However, they only have ~8 dishes. Overall, I like the place and would recommend it.

I have loved and frequented this spot for over 25 years. Today was the first time I have been back since the new owner took over. I am sorry I didn’t get his name but he was delightful. I bought 5 orders of shrimp pad Thai for myself and my family. The new packaging and portion size were amazing! The pad Thai was even better than I have ever had. I can tell the products are quality and the spice was perfect. I am so glad I came in today and so is my family who was able to drive home over an hour and half and heat it up. Would highly recommend and will be back!

I can say the best Chinese restaurant I've tried in US or even north American. Authentic, delicious and in a good price range. The szechuan eggplant and kuey tiew beef (name is different on menu) are amazing. 10 to 20 dollar per person and in lunch hours u can get dishes for as low as 8 to 10 dollar, and free chinese tea!

My favourite restaurant on campus! Good food for a great price, especially the lunch specials. The owner is really nice aswell. Recommend checking this place out!

Panda Express

I had a disappointing experience at Panda Express recently. I stood in line for 20 minutes because the staff was incredibly slow. Despite seeing a long line of customers, they didn’t speed up their service or show any urgency to help people get their orders quickly. I was running out of time and eventually had to rush, which completely ruined the purpose of a quick meal stop. This is not the level of efficiency I expect from a fast-casual restaurant.

The experience I had today at Panda was pitiful. I already avoid this location because of the general manager’s attitude towards customers. However, I wanted to give them another chance in case things miraculously changed, but I was unfortunately reminded of the exact reason why I never go to this Panda in the first place. On top of the food rarely being fresh, the manager Brianna’s demeanor is distasteful and unwelcoming. Panda needs to do a better job when considering the staff and their choices of management.

Ten Second Rice Noodle

Great food, really big portion sizes for the broths and noodles. Highly recommend checking this place out at least once

Absolutely amazing place. It is a little on the expensive side, but if you restrict yourself to one dish per visit, it’s actually pretty affordable. Everything on their menu that I’ve tried has been delicious. They even have a high quality take out bag as well as a way to keep your noodles from getting soggy. You get a free snack with your order too!! Service is also top notch, just stay seated and they will get your food to you. They have a really efficient set up and your food is ready in less than 5 minutes (Mine actually came halfway through writing this review) It might come a little hot because its made to order, so just ask for a small bowl, transfer some brother and enjoy your meal straight away! Near closing, you can even catch some of the employees eating their delicious noodles, just in case you needed more convincing! TD;DR Delicious, authentic chinese food with plenty of ingredients, 10/10 service and next to 24/7 Grainger library. My new favourite spot

Sushi Ichiban

I went here for my birthday dinner yesterday. The food was delicious and amazing. I got some sushi! Upon paying, me and my friends paid for drinks. We didn’t know we had paid for a canned drink over a bottled drink and the owner/manager was yelling at us and being aggressive that we grabbed a bottled drink (that was 20 cents more expensive) and we had offered to pay the difference and he just continued causing a scene. I’d go back for the food, 100% but the manager needs therapy. (Check his reply for a sorry excuse over pocket change and a fault ON HIM)

The tempura was good, the build and presentation of the sushi looked good, but the taste wasn't there. For some reason, this area likes to keep the fish at room temperature and it affects the texture and flavor of the fish. There were also quite a few flies, most of them babies so there is breeding happening on site or near enough to be considered the same. The gentleman at the counter was plenty nice and courteous. The ayce aspect of this restaurant is more when they want to/can not something to plan on going into the restaurant.
