Wok n Fire - Burr Ridge
Wok n Fire in Burr Ridge, Illinois, proved to be an ideal spot for a Friday evening, offering a seamless experience from start to finish. Despite the absence of drinks in their happy hour specials, the regular drinks menu did not disappoint. The blue martini and old fashioned were both expertly crafted and added a touch of sophistication to the evening. When it came to appetizers, the selection was diverse and flavorful. The pan-seared dumplings were a standout, prompting us to order another round, while the chicken lettuce wraps and spicy tuna roll provided a satisfying variety of tastes and textures. The addition of yakitori beef added another layer of indulgence to our meal. The service was exceptional, with our waitress exhibiting warmth and attentiveness throughout the evening. It was heartening to see her training a new team member, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to maintaining high standards of service. Overall, Wok n Fire delivered an enjoyable dining experience, making it a noteworthy destination for those seeking quick bites and quality drinks in Burr Ridge.
Ordered takeout for a total of $81?!! The lar nar is crunchy I almost broke my tooth. It used to be soft noodles. Didn’t give me soy sauce for my sushi. The lar nar was cold. Honestly a waste of money coming here.
Dao Sushi and Thai
Went with my youngest kiddo. Portions were huge, good for the price. Flavor was good/okay, not great. Photo attached was a kids meal for $12. That is amazing portions and could feed my 10/11 yr old kids. Massaman Curry was okay. Labelled as spicy, but honestly didn’t have much of any spice to it. Very watery broth, ended up leaving a lot of broth behind as there was no good way to transport it home. Overall, fine visit. Might not be a go-to, but still decent.
What a nice Sushi place! We moved in the area and love eating sushi with my wife. The fish was fresh and delicious. It was priced fairly and it is a big restaurant with a very chill vibe! We are looking forward for our next time there. Highly recommended!
China King Restaurant
They use your phone number when picking up am order. Gave them my phone number when I picked up our order. When I got home discovered they gave me the wrong order. Called them and they tried to blame me for giving them the wrong phone number which is ridiculous as I do know my own number. They were extreamly rude especially the lady who was at the counter who gave me the wrong order. Their only solution to the problem was they wanted me to drive back and pickup the correct order. It is at least a 30 minute drive and I didn't want to waste another hour for their mistake. I asked for a credit to use on a future order but they refused. This was terrible customer service. In addition the food was not good in the order we got stuck with and we couldn't even eat it and it all ended up in the garbage. $67.47 totally waisted. Don't go here, bad food and they don't even know what customer service means.
Food here is always excellent. It’s exactly what you want from a takeout spot like this. They are fast and the food is always HOT when we pick it up. Very reasonable prices and solid experience every time. No frills but that’s what you want from your neighborhood Chinese food place.
