King's Wok
The atmosphere is of a strip center food place where an employee's work stuff covers one of the six tables. Not unexpected but does deserve a lower star. I did like the orange chicken, but it is on the sweeter side. The egg rolls were very good. I did not care for the rice at all.
It's ok. Their chicken fried rice has a lot of onion, and I'm so confused and a little disgusted as to why my crab rangoon is brown on the inside.
Fong's Garden
Got takeout from here. Got the “crispy sesame chicken” dinner combo. I was surprised with the small portion. I’m use to a bigger portion compared to other restaurants with similar combos. The chicken was not crispy. Not tasty. Rice looked and tasted old. Crab Rangoon was terrible. Didn’t taste like anything. Mostly flavorless crust. Will not be back and do not recommend.
This is a great neighborhood takeout…the food is way above average. For starters, we had spring rolls and egg drop soup. Both were very good…especially the soup. We had steamed dumplings and they were delicious…care was obviously taken with the fillings. On to the sesame chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. Again, surprisingly good and flavorful. The only item we did not think rose to the level of the others was the pork fried rice. It needs to be more flavorful. But overall, this is a quality food establishment and a bargain at that!
China Gourmet
This food was awful. We tried this based on some decent reviews and instantly regretted it. Wonton soup was nothing but chicken broth and wontons with barely any filling, the "fried" wontons were a soggy, grease soaked, flavorless, burned mess, and the food was your basic low quality americanized Chinese food. Fried rice tasted like semi burnt packaged yellow rice with zero vegetables in it. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan and the chicken tasted cheap and chemically injected, veggies were soggy. The fourth picture showcases the amount of "filling" inside the fried wonton. Miniscule amount with zero spices or flavoring. SUPER mediocre, gross, and low quality food I will not order again. It takes alot for us to not finish our food and we actually threw out most of it. Everything tasted smokey and burnt. If you gave this five stars please do yourself a favor and check your taste buds.
We called ahead and it was easy to make an order. I ordered a quart of the beef and broccoli, and the house special soup. It was tasty, quick, and cheap. When I went in to pick up, the food was ready, the building was empty of customers (they were just about to close, and I noticed 4-6 relatively clean booths available for dining in. They have a pretty large menu and I like that. I can't comment on much else, like bathrooms, quality of the dine-in service, or satisfaction with the atmosphere, since I only did take-out. But it seems like a very small, cozy, casual family restaurant. Thanks for the food!
China Mei Chinese Restaurant
Made an order from Uber eats. Ordered sesame chicken and it was salty as hell. I was pissed. This is what I get for not wanting to get my ass out of bed and going down the street to my regular Chinese place. Can’t even get a refund. I do not recommend.. at least the rice was ok Update: The manager/ owner was very polite and understanding with my concern. Drove to my house personally to drop off a fresh, less saltier sesame chicken. Which I truly highly appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality.
Today, I do a order of a Special Fried Rice and an Orange Chicken: the orange chicken was perfect and flavorful and quantity, but the SPECIAL FRIED RICE WAS HALF COOK and its flavor was a raw rice either all ingredients of the fried rice was a raw. Finally the tasty of the Fried Rice was terrible and it was not equal in quality of it I bought It on October 02, 2024.
Mekong Chinese Restaurant
This was our first time taking out from Mekong Chinese, chosen for its many 5 star reviews - and we were not disappointed. The pork fried rice was fresh, the Mongolian beef had a firm texture (not mushy like a lot of restaurants serve) and a welcome hint of heat and the honey chicken was delicious and crispy. Everything tasted just as we expected. The portions are generous and the price is comparable to other restaurants. We look forward to our next takeout! Elissa V
Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in town and The best part is they are Panamenian. The food is delicious and the service even better .You are always greeted with a friendly.smile..Been coming here for years and will continue going back. The flavor is simply unmatched. Food looks and states fresh. Rosie and her husband make a great team
Grand China Restaurant
The Grand China location has been around for a long time, the family has done amazing in providing exceptional and personable service. They put a smile on my face when they remember what we like to order. Usually do take out which is always hot and ready when I get there. Recently sat down to eat, and it was an even better meal. If you like tea, their hot tea was just like the tea from my trip to China. Ordered plates to share, worth sharing meals that way.
Grand China was a great experience! When you first pull up and walk in, it looks like it is a take out only restaurant but they do have a few tables to sit down and eat. The gentleman working when we went was an excellent server on top of handling all of the take out orders they had. We were there on a Thursday night and the phone was ringing non stop with orders. We had the chicken lo mein and the general tso combo meal. The combination came with wonton soup which was probably the best I have ever had. Wontons were full of meat and the broth was flavorful. The egg roll was standard but good. The special fried rice that came with the meal was a highlight for me! The general tso was sweeter than other places but still good. The chicken lo mein had lots of veggies and chicken. Overall, don’t judge this place by its cover. The food was excellent and well priced!
Lotus Express
I’ve been eating here practically for the 18 years I live here and I can say this is the only Chinese food place my stomach can tolerate and is good. This is the only Chinese place where my stomach doesn’t get upset and I vomit the next day. The food is always good & priced right for what you receive. However the portions now have gone from huge to small. Before 2020 the food used to be packed in the containers til the box can’t close. Now they don’t pack as much. I guess the staff just do it different? The staff back then was Chinese now the place is ran by Cubans. But I must say if your digestive system is sensitive to Chinese places you order from a local plaza, this one will not give you issues.
I usually like them but I’m updating my old review which was a 5-star because it seems as if the chicken isn’t crunchy as it used to. I’ve went early twice now and I’m unsure if they are just reusing what was left of the night before. Nonetheless, Still a great place to go when the food is fresh!
China Garden
Major health risk, A hige rat ran across their floors, owners pretended not to see it. I literally left all my food and walked away!
They still not opened for dining inside but they said after remodeling is finished they will be. It has the best food
China Fun
The fried Chicken was old and the shrimp friend rice was cooked in old grease. I would never eat out of here again the lady at the register was rude too my wife. Instead giving us whole chicken wings they cut them in half. Look at the chicken we just threw the food in the garbage. I will only eat at Chinese Garden they food is fresh my son direct us too thing garbage.
Found metal in my food. Restaurant claimed to issue a refund then withdrew that refund the next day. Have a bright light on when you eat to make sure you’re not also swallowing a bristle of metal sponge!
Happy House
I have been trying for years to get them to answer the phone since COVID hit and closed businesses. Does anyone know if they opened back up???? They were my fav Chinese restaurant and I can’t find any good enough to replace them……happy house knew how to do sesame chicken!! Their food is so good -food is a 5 star. The service was always good when we got it before. But I am giving it a one star over all now (2025) since I can’t get them to answer the phone.
Their food is so good & fresh but they attitude trash!
Red House
I don't order Chinese a lot anymore because Its hard to find a good place. I ordered from Red House today and was pleasantly surprised. I got spare ribs, lo-mein- fried rice, egg rolls and soup. I have to say that everything was good. The food has a good flavor. The hot and sour soup was excellent and so was the rest of my food. I picked up my order and the woman was very nice. The order was packed great and food was piping hot.
We were long time customers. We absolutely loved there food. But there prices began to get higher and there protons got smaller. Then they began to charge for duck sauce. Now they charging delivery fees. So tonight they got my order completely wrong and did nothing to try to fix it. I ask the lady over the phone does the pork fried rice come with any in it? She stated no. We received our order call back she basically said that it's my fault. My family could not even eat the rice. So we paid for our trash 🗑 can dinner. We will no longer be ordering from this restaurant. Here is the picture ⤵️⬇️
Canton Chinese Restaurant
Food quality was not very good. Service was fine and the people working are friendly. The food however got me sick within the hour. Will not be returning.
They have "Canton" items on the menu, but this is NOT the "Canton" we all remember. As long as you understand this is actually a sushi/Thai/Bento box place, you won't be disappointed. Order accordingly, and you'll have a much more pleasant experience.
