East China Inn
this restaurant offers yummy lunch specials, served by friendly wait staff. my partner and i enjoyed the hot tea and chicken and shrimp plates, perspectively with white rice. their egg drop soup was served hot and tasty. we will be back.
I always ordered my food from here but tonight it was horrible. The egg rolls were so greasy it looked liked they re fried them. The Mongolian chicken was prepared differently, and the rest of the food was not good at all. Seem like they had a different cook. Well, thank you cook, I won’t be coming back. I live too far to be disappointed.
Riverside Pizza & Pub - Batavia
We’ve been going to Riverside for 1/2 price pizza night and pasta night for quite a while and we love it! The food is phenomenal and the portions are huge! Tonight was 1/2 price pizza and we had to wait a few minutes for a table (5 of us) but the hosts were great, keeping us informed and getting us seated with a smile as quickly as possible- definitely a great place to give our business to and we’ll keep coming back for sure! 👍
Service is absolutely fantastic! Food is some of the best in Batavia for bar food hands down. Bartenders (especially Jud and Steve) are absolutely fantastic and add to the experience each time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Riverside Batavia is setting the standard.
Fong's Asian Kitchen
The food was meh. I’ve been there twice and I left feeling it was ok. The chicken is kind’ve hard, the rice doesn’t seem to have much flavor fried or steamed, and most of all, it’s costly. The chicken’s a bit chewy. The rolls are always crunchy, though. A word of advice, don’t get their Thai tea. It’s bitter. The staff are nice, so there’s that. I don’t have much to say other than if you can, look elsewhere.
Just tried this place tonight and it didn't disappoint. I ordered the sweet/sour chicken and my husband did the bang bang shrimp. Both were made to order and fresh!! Very delicious. I have never been to a Chinese restaurant that actually uses fresh veggies!
