Chinese Garden Restaurant
Ah, dear patrons of the culinary arts, allow me to regale you with a tale most delightful—this marks my second illustrious sojourn to the very establishment that is this charming eatery. Verily, we find ourselves consistently enamored with the delectable feasts presented before us, a veritable cornucopia of gastronomic delights that dazzle both palate and purse alike, for the ratio of grandeur to expenditure is quite simply, astonishingly remarkable! The ambiance here is less of a dreary diner and more akin to a reverie, resplendent with a cleanliness so pristine, it could likely host the Queen’s tea party, paired with decor that would make even the most fastidious of interior designers swoon. Furthermore, the service—oh, the service!—is as swift as a caffeinated gazelle, with employees who are eager and attentive, a true testament to professional hospitality. However, one must note that the establishment tends to resemble a bustling hive of activity, buzzing with patrons clamoring for either tantalizing takeout or hastily orchestrated pickups, whilst the sit-in clientele is rather scarce, like a rare Pokémon. Now, when it comes to the necessary lavatories, they are, in all their tidy glory, akin to a diminutive airliner’s cubicle space—neat as a pin yet snugger than a bug in a rug! The tables glisten, the floors sparkle, and the overall ambiance encapsulates that quintessential nostalgic vibe one desires for an enchanting evening immersed in the splendors of Asian gastronomy. My recommendations are as hearty as the dishes served, with one minor caveat that has bestowed upon the service a mere trio of stars: A mishap involving a family member who, alas! Found herself the unwitting victim of nefarious card theft, resulting in a rather unfortunate fraudulent escapade the very next morn, despite the card being as fresh as morning dew. I am not insinuating that any ne'er-do-wells lurked among the genial staff, but one cannot ignore the realities of our world—my dear acquaintance had traversed to no other locales where the treachery could have occurred. And thus our tale concludes, leaving a mélange of flavors and the faintest hint of caution in our wake.
Best Chinese food in town. If you can speak a little Chinese, you’ll get access to the special menu!
Canton Restaurant
This was our first time going to Canton . Restaurant. The food was decent. It's a small space. Service was good. There was only once server when we arrived, which was fine for the amount of customers there.
Eat here! Good well seasoned food. Authentic Cantonese food. Great service. Large portions. It's all you can eat, unless you have a very big appetite and stomach. I don't think I can eat it all, but trying. My dad fought in Korea and took us out for various Asian cuisines. Also lived near Oklahoma City's Asian district and ate once week at the restaurants.
Main Moon Restaurant
Very generous portion sizes. We always get the sweet and sour chicken, I love that I can tell I’m being served actually chicken chunks instead of some per bought chicken that’s ground. Best Egg Drop soup I’ve ever tried in Idaho Falls. Beware the website is a fake. I did tell the owners
Very nice people and the best Chinese food we have had in Idaho Falls. We highly recommend! Also try the cream cheese wantons they are made fresh and amazing! ❤️❤️❤️
Evergreen China Buffet
I am from Washington endless camera for a China Buffet. It's about 2:00 in the afternoon and they had lots of options. The food is pretty good some of it was been sitting there for a while so it's pretty hard to eat. I don't think I suggest the sushi for it didn't look very good. The best thing I loved was the fresh shrimp, the mushrooms potstickers. They have a variety of dessert items. I also suggest waiting for the chicken for sweet n sour chicken.
This location needs to improve, it looks run down and dirty. It’s the second time I visit this place and it looks worst than the first time. The steamed clams are full of sand. Unfortunately it is the only Chinese Buffet in town.
