Lucky Palace Chinese Restaurant
Where are all the real Chinese chefs? Today I decided I wanted to try lucky palace. I ordered pork fried rice, Mongolian beef and an egg roll I spent 29 dollars plus a ten dollar tip not well deserved. Look at the rice it’s white rice with little pieces of diced ham, egg and onions barely noticeable, I mean just put it in the blender and make a smoothie out of it!! And look at the Mongolian beef! It’s like a combination of pepper steak and god knows what else! Barely no steak tons of weird veggies-not Mongolian beef!! The egg roll was the only thing that was good. Looking at the place it looked like a real Chinese place but I guess looks are deceiving. At least they gave me lots of fortune cookies which I can fill myself up with cause that food went straight to the garbage.
An older lady took my order she is very kind and attentive, the food is amazing!!
Yen Ching Restaurant
I have come to this place for years and the owner is amazing at making drinks and serving great food i highly recommend. It is slightly slow service but worth the wait. Drinks are strong. Food once you finally order sometimes takes a while. But iv e only had one time where one person's food came out slightly cold when in group setting but it wasn't that cold my friend/coworker at a luncheon was just picky and from vallejo california. So makes sense he would complain most reviews complaining are from Cali so go back where you came from I'm born and raised and this is best generals chicken. You'll ever have eat on boise !!!!
The food here was good - I got the sweet and sour and was not disappointed. Same as the crab rangoons… they were so good. Potstickers were just as good! The service was good, but they did appear to be understaffed which is unfortunate for them. Portions are huge! Overall, good place, but there is another place i’d say is better
Panda Express
We just went through the drive through for two bowls. A bowl is one entree item and one side. I ordered steamed rice and broccoli beef, and my wife got sesame chicken and chow mein. We just got home and I see that I got five pieces of broccoli and about eight small pieces of beef with lots of steamed rice. My wife’s was a little better when it came to her sesame chicken but it was still a small serving. Twenty dollars for super skimpy servings. A COMPLETE RIP OFF! People think that they’re making more money by taking advantage of customers but since we will never go back, it will cost them our business over the long-term, which would have made them much more money than what they stole from us tonight. Further, the food wasn’t very good. The picture shows what I got in my bowl.
Best service I've had in a very long time. It was an hour before close and this crew was incredibly accommodating and happily made fresh batches for our order. Everyone was so friendly. My one complaint is that Panda express won't allow their employees to take tips. I understand not actively asking for tips on your credit card machine, but if your crew does a good job, they should be allowed to be rewarded. As someone who works in the service industry, I was a little upset that I wasn't allowed to tip the crew, they deserved it. Nonetheless, this was the first positive experience I've had at a fast food place in years. So thank you.
China Palace Restaurant
So far this is the best Asian food i have found here in the Boise area with fas friendly service.....The food it self was better than most I have had here in Eagle, Boise, Meridian area the service was excellent 👌 cold beers & hot saki . The place is clean and inviting. We will return and try some of our other favorite dishes but for now I would rate the food as a four because it was the best I have found yet .........I am still searching.........if this helps please give a 👍 like..............
We went for dinner at China Palace Fine Dining. The service was good. Our waitress was really sweet and kind. The food was good but so greasy. If the food wasn't so greasy, I'd give them a higher rating. The building is okay, and the decor is basic, nothing special. The bench I sat in was broken down, and I felt like I was sitting in a hole. They serve beer and wine. I got some Saki, it wasn't hot, barley warm. My hubby had a Chinese beer. He said it was better good. We will come back and try other dishes, hoping not so much grease. Again, the staff is really good and helpful.
P.F. Chang's
Curtis was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped me navigate my gluten allergy. The atmosphere was calming and the food was delicious.
Such an amazing experience at this location! It was very quiet, homey, and welcoming. The food is incredible as always. I personally had Tiffany as a waitress and I could not recommend her enough. If you get her you’re truly lucky. She was very sweet, always on top of everything, great charisma, just overall an amazing waitress. Definitely should visit this location if you get the chance to!
Panda Garden
I found an excellent combination of comfortable and interesting atmospheres, with enticing aromas and a good variety of choices. There was plenty of new things to try as well as the favorites. Our server was very prompt pleasant and sincere. The food was piping hot and so savory! Thank you Panda Gardens!
Amazing service! So excited to find this gem in the Boise Bench area. All of the staff was so sweet and the food was amazing. We got the Mongolian Beef, Sweet and Sour Pork, and Mandarin Chicken entrees along with the crab rangoons, pan fried dumplings, and a tempura roll.
Golden Wok
Well, we looked on the menu on their web site, we ordered the No. 1, $14.55 Per Person. I was disappointed that we could t order this for one person only even though they say $14.55 per person. Egg Roll Fried Wonton Pork Fried Rice Chicken Chow Mein Sweet & Sour. So we picked it up and I opened the bbq pork. 6 small slices , that’s it for two people. Same with the crab ragoon, 4 pieces, the fried rice had no flavor. The mixed veggies as good. For the sweet and sour chickens we received tiny little nuggets. The ragoon was cold like it was sitting in a fridge.
We ordered a vegan fried rice and a golden wok special chop suey. It was okay but not the most delicious.
Mala House
Last night we first time dined in here with two-people combo hot pot , and two other dishes ( Second Cooked Pork belly and fish-flavored pork slices) and it was an amazing experience. Lots of options for dipping sauces. Way plenty amount of excellent food for 3 adults and one toddler (ending up with take home boxes). The beef and lamb slices for the hot pot are quite fresh. All food items are delicately presented and you can enjoy it with your own pace. Enough kid-friendly options for food or drinks or ice creams. Additionally, the service is fast and all staffs are very friendly and patient. The atmosphere is full of great vibes, aroma and laughter. Before the opening for dine in, we tried the Mala Flavored Grilled fish 3 or 4 times, also the Mala Jumbo Shrimp dry pot. Both were delicious and tons of food. For sides dishes, pork nuggets and boiled 5 species peanuts ( if you are not allergic to it) are must-try. As a food lover and Chinese. so happy that Boise has an authentic Chinese Food to offer now, can't wait to take friends and family here more.
MUST TRY - Amazing addition to Boise food. After living in China for 2 years I have missed authentic mainland Chinese food (especially Sichuan). I have tried a handful of restaurants across the Western states. This restaurant is the most authentic and I am so glad to have this open in Boise! We got the frog legs dry pot - tender, juicy, tasty! I can't wait to go back soon and try their twice cooked pork belly -- one of my favorite Chinese dishes
Golden Star Restaurant
The staff is really nice and always remember me, they waste no time to start making the food after taking your order, and it's always really delicious. 10/10 would highly recommend
Golden Star is an awesome classic Chinese restaurant. We ordered family dinner #7 and it did not disappoint. Golden Star has the best BBQ pork i have ever had. I'm excited to try the pot stickers next time, they looked amazing. The service was great. We are new to Boise and we have found our spot for Chinese food.
Wok-Inn Noodle
Was looking for a noodle place that was closer to home. Called in an order for take away. Food was made fresh. The gentleman making our food was a sweet old man. Got home and had the most delightful meal. The Pad Thai was so flavorful and delicious. Definitely want to go back.
My son and I ate here last week. A friend had recommended it to me before COVID, and I always wanted to stop in. Anyway, the food and service were terrific! Our host was kind and pleasant. The food! Oh my gosh, the food was outstanding, out of this world! I’ve never had anything so good. We ate family-style: 1) the House Chicken and 2) the House Chicken, Beef, and Veggies. When we tasted the first dish, I ordered a second one to take home; it was that good! If you haven’t had a chance to try it here, give it a shot. While we waited for the takeout order, another person picked up a carryout order. I think this has become a hidden gem because we were the only other customers. I gave it a 3 for atmosphere because maybe they are doing some reorganizing, but there was an unusual amount of clutter for an open restaurant.
Panda Express
Fried rice was just okay. It just tasted like white rice with some egg in it. I felt like they forgot to add soy sauce when they're cooking it. The rice was even white in color..it's usually a little brown. Chow mein was good. I've eaten there before, and it was overloaded with veggies, not today, very good ratio. Overall, for the low price you pay at Panda, it's still a good deal. Store and bathrooms were clean. Staff were super nice and friendly.
My friends tell me that im a regular to this place. I love the food! The service is pretty good, it really depends on the worker giving you your food. This being some workers are nicer than others. The atmosphere is definitely loud. Sometimes there is a line that goes out the door so don't come during rush hour or you'll have to wait outside in a line.
Asian Wok Chinese Restaurant
Best Chinese food I've had in YEARS. Get the lemon chicken! The sweet and sour sauce is also excellent. Food came out dish by dish but I don't care. Everything was super hot and fresh and delicious. The people were also kind. I will 1000% be coming back regularly!
Good food and friendly service. Not too big atmosphere too crowded. Thorough in preparing utensils and set ups for travelers(forks, spoon, napkins, etc) We appreciate your service Thank you
