This is your quintessential Chinese style dim sum restaurant with a good focus on excellent seafood. We ordered Dim Sum. Having lived in Hong Kong, we know good dim sum. We would say that when compared to Hong Kong, this restaurant is a solid 7. But for restaurants in the USA, it’s a 9. What stood out were the shrimp dishes like the Har Gau & rice paper rolls. The shrimp were huge and the complete centerpiece of any dish that shrimp were in. The Xiaolongbao were not good. Do not recommend them. I think they call them Shanghai pork dumplings on the menu. Dry, overly thick wrapper and missing the soupy inside. The Charsu bao were good. Fluffy bun, but they lacked enough port filling. The Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli) with garlic was excellent. We also like the lotus rice. Great flavor. But a bit under steamed. Overall, this was a very good restaurant. We liked the food and it brought us back to our time in Hong Kong. Prices are typical for a Honolulu restaurant. I think we spent about $60 for two of us to eat about 6 dishes. There are a lot of options and plate lunches on the menu if you don’t want dim sum. But I would recommend a bit of both for sharing.

First time here and definitely not our last. We came here on a weekday around 1100 before the downtown office workers lunch rush. We were greeted and seated right away. They dim sum menu is extensive and offers variety. They do not have the dim sum carts going around, instead they have the menu on the table which you pick what you want and quantity. We ordered Har Gow, Chicken Feet, Siu Mai, Spare Ribs, Seafood Seaweed Roll, Shrimp Look Fun, and Taro Puff. All.came out fresh, delicious and flavorful. One of the best dim sum in the island. We really loved the Seafood Seaweed Roll, Chicken Feet - tender, falling off the bone, the Shrimp Look Fun. Service was pleasant and attentive. Restaurant is clean and bright, and a huge dining area. They got busier and louder during the lunch rush hour.
