King Spring Chinese Restaurant
I am a repeat customer and usually each experience is amazing. this particular experience i was quite disappointed with the quality of the sesame chicken I was served last night. instead of the typical fried hard breading on the chicken I was given the spongey light breading used for the sweet and sour chicken. it was soggy and mushy and not appetizing. I was disappointed and do expect better from this restaurant. wish I didn’t have to write this review
The general Taos was delicious! The fried rice was fresh and flavorful. The food was ready really fast and they were open even during the day it snowed.
Peking Garden Restaurant
I have learned there is not a perfect Chinese restaurant… But if they have decent food (they do), an interesting atmosphere (dated, but cozy), and good service (they do in the form of a delightful manager/owner, “Jenni” I believe), you can have a surprisingly good experience. I picked up dinner tonight and we had: - Pork Egg Foo Young. Very tasty. The egg was breaded and cooked a little more than we are used to and the take out was drenched in the sauce. I normally prefer the sauce on the side, but this version just worked for us this time. - Garlic Chicken. Best of the two items in my opinion. Simple dish with moderate garlic, and not overcooked onions, celery, and mushrooms. - Basic fried rice. Simple and cooked about right. I added some of the Egg Foo Young sauce to add a nice flavor. - Egg Rolls. I ate mine too fast to deconstruct it for me to comment on… other than it had some shrimp in the mix. One note, I use mustard on my egg rolls, and while the little packets looked the same as those from other restaurants, these had slightly little more heat (which I liked). The “experience” was swayed greatly by a short but pleasant discussion about China and places “Jenni” and I had both visited. It felt like I had met a new neighbor and friend. We will return and eat-in at some point.
I ordered pick up and my rice tasted like burnt oil and I also got fried shrimp that was overly fried couldn’t even bite the fried shell and it tasted the same as the rice like super old burnt oil. I also got a side of fries that were all 50/50 half burnt half raw. Total waste of money.
Michiru Asian Cuisine
I recently dined at Michiru Asian Cuisine and ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken. It was absolutely fantastic! The flavors were perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of spice and freshness from the basil. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection, and the portion size was generous. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. If you’re looking for high-quality Asian cuisine, Michiru is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes from their menu!
This is my second time here and I love this quick service spot. They are efficient and delicious. The first time I got the Chicken Hibachi and loved almost everything down to the packaging and packing. They took the time to cut out cardboard to size of the plates so stacking items wouldn’t collapse. They also have great portion sizes/containers in my opinion. I personally loved having the vegetables in the bigger side and the chicken in the slightly smaller side. I will say the yum yum sauce was not to my liking as it differs from your typical yum yum sauce flavor but my sister loved it. Got the fried rice instead of white rice and it was just fried rice. No egg or veggies. No complaints, just a heads up in case you are expecting a little more to it. Currently immensely enjoying the egg drop soup. The consistency is slightly thinner than some other places, which to me is fantastic. The eggs ribbons even have air bubbles in them letting you know they are thin and airy. The perfect bowl of egg drop soup.
Hong Kong City
Their fried wings are the best. I come from far just to get 2 orders. They young ladies at the counter are patient and friendly, the man cooking is also friendly. It's a quiet atmosphere. I enjoy the food very much.
The nastiest Braised wings and my shrimp fried rice taste burnt. They wouldn’t exchange or replace my order. Oh yea and they charge for everything on top of they don’t have cups no napkins come with food and they act like they don’t understand or speak English.
China Wok (wings & Chinese food)
The food isn't good. I bought a fish dinner and couldn't eat it. The fish had a old fishy smell and a horrible taste. I've also had the wings and the rice. He would do better if he sold cereal instead of cooked food.
Order through Uber eats. The order was delivered within an hour. My house ĺo mein the noodles were overcooked. This food seem to be seating for some time and just warmed up. This couldnt have been fresh at all. This is the worst I have ever had. The chicken egg rolls were overcooked.
No.1 China
Still searching for my primary Chinese takeout place. This one was mediocre at best on the night we tried it. The food was cooked appropriately but more bland than expected. The chicken teriyaki tasted as if the chicken, onion, and scallions were cooked separately and then drenched in teriyaki in the takeout container. The pork egg foo young was cooked well, but could have used more seasoning. The accompanying brown sauce had almost no flavor and was on the watery side. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside but the inside contents were meager and without much taste.
RACIST! They will take your black dollar but won't respect you. The wait was long, but that was okay... But the rude woman with the teeth seemed to get upset because I asked for more "soy sauce' for my $30+ dollars worth of food I just purchased. I live 5 minutes away from them but I will go somewhere else from now on.
