I've been here a few times and I can honestly say the fried rice is good! I haven't had anything else but the rice and it's very on point, obviously worth coming back for. I recommend you get the house special fried rice, it comes with shrimp and all the meats plus some veggies. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Update: I've been back since this review and the fried chicken is good as well. They don't do whole wings but the wingettes are pretty good.

If you order food from DoorDash they will blame the Dasher for getting the order wrong and will do nothing to satisfy the customer. When I called to get the issue corrected, the person who answered the phone was very rude. Very poor customer service! Would not recommend!

Food was super salty, i didnt really enjoy it to be honest. The plate was full though, place is very dirty, but food came out pretty quick & the guy who was @ the register was very nice :)

Food alway delicious and hot!! I come from Jonesboro Ga & food is still at good temp when arriving home. They never miss best Chinese on the south side 💫

This place was so good! Stopped by for some wings and they were delicious! the fries were made perfect and their philly was mouth watering. Very satisfied with the service

This place sucks! The workers play like they dont speak English & do not inform you that they are out of what you order. Nor do the employees know their correct drink sizes. They did not send soy sauce with their old dryed out rice and chewy cold pork they served. Could not get a manager to correct the issue.

Their food is always great. Love it. It gets busy in here so make sure you don’t grab somebody else food

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese menu. Once my food came it was a spicy sauce on the meat and I looked of confusion because anytime I received sweet and sour chicken, the chicken is breaded with a fluffy exterior and I’m able to dip it in a sweet thick flavorful sauce. What I received was not the same. The sauce smelled like vinegar and My food taste old and the rice is hard. Also who puts canned pineapples on top of chicken. . I feel like I wasted my money. I do appreciate James for his great customer service.I will never go back to the establishment for food but I would go back for the desserts. The Food is not the same it’s over rated.the egg roll was not cooked all the way as well

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location and the cooking space were stunning! Alice, our chef, was by far the most entertaining, informative, and funny host. If you can ask for her specifically, do it!!!

I tried the Drunken noodles at this restaurant. While the noodles had all the right flavors, what was not good was the oil they used and how much of it they used. This was after i had requested for less oily noodles. The service was fast and prompt though. I am not very good with too much oil and so i fell sick but maybe the other items aren’t that oily.

I really liked this place. Very inexpensive considering what food costs in 2024. Specials are usually in the $5-7 range, which is awesome and allowed me to get 2 for a sane price. I have the General Chicken and the Mandarin Chicken, both of which were really good. What I like about this place is that it reminds me of good takeout places I went to in college, but it doesn't "taste like every other Chinese place". You know how lots of restaurants seem to use the same orange sauce? Not this place, it was different in all the right ways. The man that dished up my order was very nice and helpful for newbies that haven't been there before. Next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

By far the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. Ate it and instantly got food poisoning. I've never felt that way due to food in my life. It's dark & grim in there. I have nothing good to say. Cheap is not always better.

No, never again. Greasy mess…OLD grease. I ordered a fish and shrimp combo, asked if they allowed a different side instead of fries, for my drink I got a bottle of water as I don’t drink the other options. Was given total of $18 when the menu says $13. Everything was an up charge lol. A bottle of water cost an extra $1 or $2 over “homemade” lemonade. I ended up getting a lemonade and giving it to a random person and getting the veggie rice. The rice was the only decent tasting thing from the plate. Cheap and burned shrimp, grease was too hot because the outside was burned but the inside was undone! Waste of time and money. The young lady at the register was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient!

I use to come to Southside faithfully. My first time going back in awhile was last night. My fries were not fresh, and they were hard. The wings were not fresh either. They were cold and hard. It looked like they were just sitting out, and somebody threw sauce on them. Instead of just making ten fresh ones. I didn't even eat it. I would've given it to my little girl and but she didn't even want it, and she love wings and fries. Just a waste of money and so unsatisfied.
