Noodles Bar & Dumpling
Amazing! They just opened and we were excited to check it out. We asked a waitress what her favorite was and she recommended the Braised Beef Noodle Soup…it was phenomenal. We also got the Spicy Cucumber Salad, which is almost a little pickled, and was so fresh. The Pork Soup Dumplings with the vinegar dipping sauce were great. We loved the Scallion Pancake and we got the Chicken Fried Rice too. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and the atmosphere was cute and cozy. We took home a lot of leftovers we were so full! We will absolutely be coming back!
My partner and I decided to try this place since we're craving noodles. As soon as we walked inside, we were greeted by the staff. They were very friendly. Our waiter was helpful explaining the food from their menu. We ordered wontons in chili sauce, soybean paste noodles, Taiwanese dry noodles with minced pork, and pork scallion buns. We've got our food, and the portions are so big and delicious! You'll definitely get your money's worth! I would definitely recommend it to my friends, and we would definitely be back to try more from their menu.
China Garden
Horrible honey wings, uncooked rice. These are not honey wings it’s sugar wings. It’s rock solid and it taste like curry powder. Would give no stars if I could.
This restaurant has been here for at least 25 years. Parking is a little cramped due to a Mexican restaurant in the same little plaza. So, they are open, not permanently closed. It was only temporarily closed for the remodel. When you walk in it is a little more open and bright due to the recent remodel. This day I got the yummy hot and sour soup with spring rolls. The large is enough for more than one meal. I really like this place the vegetables seem to be always fresh. The portions are good. I will be back, I think this is the best Chinese restaurant in this area.
Dragon Palace - Norcross
Huge Portions!! I got the orange chicken my husband got general tao. Orange chicken was really fresh and sweet it comes with broccoli and orange peels in its own container then the rice separate. It usually comes with white rice but I got mine with fried rice. The rice was amazingly seasoned and fresh. Overall i absolutely loved the food, the price was $13 each plate, the reason why i gave 4 stars was ONLY because the general tao chicken could of had more spice other than that 10 out of 10!! The customer service was amaing the woman was so sweet and the cook did amazing. 20 min wait but i promise its worth it! Go Now!!
Decided to try based on reviews. Being from NY, Chinese food is a staple of the hood. Ordered chicken wings, Crab Cheese Wontons and Chicken Lo Mein with chicken. Since when did chicken wings start getting sold by the piece? Picture listed, sold me 2 chicken wings cut into 4 pieces. This should be illegal! Second, the Crab Cheese wontons needed a little more cooking. The chicken lo mein was a little lacking. The noodles just seem overly thick. As for decor, I understand the area is tough. But ripped chairs, don’t help for ambiance. Overall this is not a place worth visiting.
Big Wong BBQ
Tastes good. New, higher prices again, and no credit card below $15--makes it hard to just come here and get a quick lunch TBH.
Absolutely the best crispy roast pig I have ever put in my mouth! The Char Siu is delicious as well, but I have been fixated on the roast pig. I am actually looking forward to my in-laws coming in just so I can have it again. The couple running the place were sweet and very helpful.
China Panda
Not bad i ate a bunch plate was FULL
Happy Valley Dim Sum & Asian Cuisine
The restaurant is very open and spacious when entering the main room. Not crowded when we enter to test trial the food/meal for the upcoming wedding this year. The food was cooked delicately from the beginning of the appetizer to the ending of the dessert. We went through different plates to see which is more favorable and which we can substitute it. The Peking duck, ginger scallion lobster, and steak was tender to the point it melts in your melt. The service was top notch and coordinated with others to be sure we feel as a priority. No leftover bowl or plate were unattended when finished. Water and hot tea was never half empty. Overall, the atmosphere is calm when dining in and the servers is full on focus to the upmost care to the customers.
The food was pretty decent, maybe a little oily but nonetheless good. The place itself was really spacious but it seems the place might need a remodel. Service was amazing though. It wasn’t busy when we came so the servers were always around giving us different dim sums and refilling our waters which was great. They were very kind and super helpful. It’s very kid-friendly and apparently they do weddings.
Bento Cafe
The $16 stir fry noodles taste like someone forgot to heat up the wok and then forgot to add sauce. And then only threw in whatever tiny bits of chicken were left on someone's plate when they were done. Super duper oily with no flavor at all and maybe 1/4 cup of chicken bits. The water was disgusting And tasted super moldy.
If I can give more than 5 stars, I would! This restaurant serves authentic Taiwanese food. Need to try their fried chicken or fried pork bento set. They also have boba tea and other authentic drinks.
Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet Jimmy Carter
Service was Horrible DO NOT EAT HERE !!!! Crab legs are small al the servers are VERY RUDE Definitely a thumbs down for me
Nice variety. I loved the fried chicken. French fries for the kids. The fried fish could of been with more flavor. They cook certain things on the spot and is delicious. Waitresses super nice and friendly. Lots of seafood like shrimp and crab legs. They didn’t have the ice cream machine 🥺 just ice cream to buy.
Four Seasons Asian Cuisine
I called in a pick up order The person on the phone was polite and took my order and they told me it would be ready in 10-15 min I went to the place and my food was ready as I entered. The food is really good I got sesame chicken, dumplings, fried rice, chicken and broccoli Singaporean chicken, hot and sour soup. All of the food had great flavor, fresh, piping hot, and great portions, and most importantly really good value as well. I am coming back here again in the future. Food is great!
Love the food and service here. We have been here twice and it’s our go to place for Chinese cuisine when we come to this part of the town. The veggies and meat are super fresh and love portion sizes of each meal aswell. Will recommend the hunan chicken. Boys working here super friendly too. Hope this place gets more traction. 🥡🥢 Why temporarily closed?🥹
Hibachi
This restaurant may not have the most impressive presentation, but it is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese cuisine. The chef and owner, Mr. Kong, formerly owned the well-known Little Szechuan Restaurant on Buford Hwy. The dishes here are all about authenticity and flavor. The Lomein is a standout with its unique taste and spices that will make your taste buds dance. The beef broccoli is cooked in a sautéed sauce that is packed with flavor and will leave you wanting more. The General Tso Chicken is another highlight, featuring a savory sauce that is rich with chicken flavor. Overall, this restaurant may not have fancy decor or ambiance, but it truly shines when it comes to the quality and taste of the food. If you're looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience, this is the place to go.
very tasty authentic chinese dishes, ask for the authentic egg foo yong, hong kong style fried noodles, black pepper beef, taiwanese 3 cup chicken, and ginger fried rice
Chow Time Grill & Buffet
Chow time Grill & Buffet is located in the city of Norcross, Gwinnett County. One of the better buffets I’ve eaten at plenty of times. Beer and wine are now available on the menu, great selection of seafood both for lunch & dinner. Great food, staff, & fair price.
It wasn’t a plan visit. We were hungry and looking for something to eat and saw the Chow Time Grill & Buffet and rest was full of surprises. First the price tag! It was very reasonable. I was also overwhelmed to see that the manager can speak Bengali language fluently. He was very welcoming and friendly. It is a delightful Chinese buffet that offers a wide array of dishes to satisfy any craving. The restaurant boasts a clean and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for a family dinner or a casual outing with friends. The buffet features a diverse selection of Chinese cuisine. Please look at the pictures I have taken after my lunch. I tried to discover taste as much as possible but there was plenty of dishes I couldn’t able to try. While the food is generally tasty and well-prepared, the quality can sometimes vary. Some dishes may be slightly overcooked or under-seasoned. However, the sheer variety and the opportunity to try something new make up for these minor shortcomings. The service is efficient and friendly, with staff regularly refilling dishes and clearing tables. The price point is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat buffet, especially considering the extensive menu. Overall, Chow Time is a solid choice for a satisfying meal. If you're looking for a place to indulge in a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes, this buffet is worth checking out. I will definitely visit again to explore more food items.
Wong Kee BBQ and Peking Duck Restaurant
The new owners renovated the restaurant to be more modern and welcoming. The meat plates are great for lunch, and there are plenty of other traditional dishes too. We got the pan-fried noodles with seafood. The seafood is chewy, more so than those at other places. The Chinese BBQ pork is my favorite of the meats so far. The light soup and pickled vegetable served with the BBQ rice plate really round out the meal. I'll try their clay pots or other noodles next time. Pros: BBQ options, new modern atmosphere Cons: personally would prefer crispier noodles for pan-fried noodles
Love this restaurant so much! The new owner started their business here and everything changed in a very positive way. My friend from Canton has appraised this restaurant for the food he’s got. I was served with delicious soup while waiting for my entrees. Everything I and my friends ordered tasted fantastic and very authentic. I have recommended this restaurant to many of my friends and everyone loved it so far. You mush try it.
