DON GA NE
Delicious food & nice wait staffs & clean environment. All side dishes are good, Kimchi was so fresh. Must try Donkatsu Well pack to-go packaging. Will definitely come back
I am from Florida and I can not say enough great stuff about the ladies that helped us and I can not express how AMAZING the food is . Come hungry because it is great size portions. We ate a good amount and had enough to take home for tomorrow . 100,000,000,000 STARS! Thank you all so much
KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot
Loved it! Our waitress was kind and patient to explain everything to us. We ordered the grill and the hot pot. I've been to one other Korean BBQ and they cooked the food for us. However, I prefer this restaurant because we cooked the food to our liking. The hot pot was delicious, I had the healthy broth with lamb, bok choy, spinach, and some other stuff, I can't remember. They give you enough and not too much, which I appreciate it. I will definitely come back!
Highly recommend. I recently visited with a girlfriend, and I’ve already been trying to plan the next time I can visit again. We went on a Saturday, where the dinner menu is available all day. It’s $30 for either AYCE hotpot or kbbq OR $35 for both. We obviously went with both. We told the waitress it was our first time there, and she was really sweet to explain how it all worked, how to use the tablet, as well as give recommendations. When I asked her to help me pick between two broths, she gave a resounding vote to the Korean seafood, and I’m so glad. It was delicious and the lobster balls, roe balls, tofu cakes, shrimp, bok choy, enoki mushrooms, and taro root were perfect with it. My friend got the tonkotsu broth, which she said was also yummy. Once we placed our first order with her for our soup items and kbbq items (beef bulgogi, short ribs, and her recommended angus chuck flap tail,) we went to get sauces and sides. There is an abundance of sauce options, but they do have some recommended combos for you. I went with soy bean paste, sweet and spicy sauce, and sesame oil. I also got a plate of pickled radish, radish kimchi, regular kimchi, and a salt & pepper chicken to try. Once we were back at our table, everything came pretty quickly. The veggies were all placed on one tray and the raw meats were each on their own separate plates, which I appreciated. I also liked that there was cooking spray, tongs for raw meat, and tongs for cooked meat. Halfway through our first order, we were able to order whatever else we wanted on the tablet at our table. It was nice to see pictures of everything, so I ordered more of my beloved lobster balls, spicy bulgogi, and beef cheek. I ended my afternoon with a plate of cherries, oranges, and sesame balls. Keep in mind there is a waste fee if you order too much and don’t eat it. Everything was delicious, and I had a fun experience. It was slightly overwhelming with all the options and everything going on at once, but I loved it. Will be back many times, I predict.
Kyuramen - Suwanee
From the moment you step into this restaurant, the experience is amazing. We were seating promptly and our service was top tier. We ordered the Taro fries, 2 bowls of ramen, the matcha pudding and the amazing lemonade. I would recommend ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING (minus the pudding. It wasn't my style but worth a try). I loved this place!
Cute place with a honeycomb style dining tables good for two. The food were actually decent and priced well. The omellette presentation was beautiful. Hubby (who is kinda picky) enjoyed our lunch so it was worth it. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will for sure come back and bring the kids.
Kang Seo Restaurant
This place ended up being our second choice, as the restaurant we initially planned to visit was undergoing renovations on that scorching summer day. Adapting to the situation, we decided to try their marinated goat meat hot pot (보양전골), which turned out to be quite satisfactory. The hot pot came brimming with an ample amount of goat meat, including the goat skin. However, the dipping sauce for the meat was a tad overly sweet, and the selection of fresh vegetables was somewhat limited. The presentation of the hot pot was average, neither exceptional nor disappointing. On the service front, we received good attention. The waitress visited our table a few times to replenish our side dishes. Familiar with the culinary traditions, we took the liberty to transform the remaining goat meat into a rice-based porridge after enjoying the meat itself. The restaurant was bustling, situated between the peak hours of lunch and dinner. It's evident that the establishment has garnered a reputation and seems to have established a stable presence in the dining scene. Update on 10/9/2024 We ordered braised Hail Tail (갈치조림) which is very famous in this restaurant and 공등어구이 and 된장찌게 combo. It was quite good and service was outstanding and attentive.
This spot has become a go-to staple for me and my wife whenever we’re craving good, solid, and healthy Korean food. Despite its popularity and the inevitable busy atmosphere, the quality of both the food and service never falters. The dishes, including the banchan (side dishes), are consistently top-notch—always fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The friendly staff adds to the experience, checking in regularly to ensure we have everything we need, even during the busiest times. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic, high-quality Korean food. It’s a gem we’re happy to return to again and again.
JAWS Topokki Suwanee (죠스 떡볶이)
I think the tteokbokki here is the best among Korean tteokbokki. The fries are a little hard.
Decided to try something new and grabbed lunch in the food court of H Mart. I went with the chicken galbi gimbap combo, which came with a nice mix of sides. The variety of flavors and textures was interesting – even though I had no idea what I was eating, it was all pretty good! If you’re looking to explore a few Korean staples, Jaws is worth checking out for a quick lunch.
Umaido
Umaido offers great ramen and has been a go-to spot for me for over a decade. The seating is limited, so it can get crowded, but it’s always worth the wait. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making the dining experience even better. I also appreciate the bidet in the restroom, which adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic ramen!
Ordered the Ultra Spicy Ramen (Level 3) and the Honey Miso Ramen, both with the $1 upgrade to a "Rich Broth" which is meant to enhance the flavor of the broth with chashu fat. We read lots of good reviews on google and reddit and thought we'd give it a try. But the flavors did not meet our expectations. The highest spice level was not actually spicy. I cannot handle high spice, so the fact that I could handle the highest level of spice here is pretty telling. And there was no telling whether the Rich Broth was added or not because the Honey Miso broth was incredibly lacking. No real depth of flavors on the tongue. It was all pretty surface level. The toppings and chashu were fine, but nothing in particular stood out. It's definitely edible dishes, but it's not going to be the best nor most memorable ramen you'll ever have. Coming from someone who has had ramen at all major US cities. However, locally, this could be the standard of the ramen scene in Atlanta. I'm not sure as I don't live here. But if so, I'm glad that there is a place that can suit the locals. Do keep in mind that the vibes, the casual but chic interior, and service were all fantastic. Their bathrooms also had heated toilet seats, which was such a nice surprise.
Mandoo Restaurant(만두아저씨)
This was from May 11th. Very wonderful service and DELICIOUS food! 😋 I loved it. Family owned, I believe. They also have good take out as well, same amount of food, plus you also get your side dishes! One of my favorite restaurants that I go back to often 😁.
Got the beef mandoo which was well stuffed and tasted so fresh!!! I’m shocked that such high quality dumpling is at a small shop in Hmart. Jajangmyeon was also really good despite it being vegetarian (I like mine meat based). Will return!
Gopchang Salon; 곱창쌀롱 스와니; 곱창싸롱; 곱창 스와니
Gopchang Salon really impressed me. The gopchang was cooked to perfection — it had that perfect balance of crispy and tender that makes it so satisfying to eat. The banchan was fresh and packed with flavor, and the kimchi was especially good, adding the perfect level of spice and tang. The staff were nice, caring and made us feel welcome, which made the whole experience feel more delightful. There’s something special about a place where the food and service come together so well, and this spot definitely nails it. It was awesome, and the best Korean food I've had here in Georgia! I’m already planning my next visit here!!
✨✨✨✨✨Absolutely amazing! Gopchang Salon exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our meal. The quality of the meats was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly marbled. The variety of cuts and options made the experience even more enjoyable, and the side dishes (banchan) were a delightful mix of traditional and bold flavors. The kimchi were standouts! The ambiance was just right yet cozy. Grilling the meats at the table added a fun, interactive element to the dining experience, and everything cooked up beautifully. It's clear they care deeply about the quality of their food and the satisfaction of their guests. I can't wait to come back and bring more friends to enjoy this! ✨✨✨✨✨
차이홍 중화요리 Chai Hong K-Chinese Cuisine
Reasonable dining experience. The food is good for the price, and it's a good spot to check out if you're in the Suwanee area and want to try a new Korean-Chinese restaurant. While the taste was good, it didn't quite reach the level of some other places I've tried.
First time here for weekend lunch. Great service. Friendly server. Food amount/portion size was better than most other places. Noodles in non-spicy seafood noodle soup looked like homemade chewy type. Tasted very fresh. There was actually a decent amount of seafood unlike other places we've been to. Big octopus too. Seafood stir fry was decent amount. I just didn't like the rice underneath. I like my rice in a separate bowl. The corn starch sauce was a bit too thick and got cold quick with the air blowing. Taste was good. Not too salty. Price was a bit high. However, the variety of items in this dish is amazing. There were also little yellow ginkgo nuts in the dish as well as sea urchin, squid, octopus, shitake mushrooms, bamboo, etc. Overall, around $20 per person. Food quality and amount is good though. You also get a few basic complimentary Korean side dishes. We would definitely come back for the seafood noodle soup. This place was way better than the Fung Mei down the street.
Green Basil
Our favorite restaurant to go to for the family. Everyone loves it. Food, service and ambiance are great. Also Love the music and food channel on TV they run all the time. Pho and curries are authentic.
Quality of the pho has gone down significantly. Today will be the very last time. Broth was bland and gave off a bad odor. The slices of meat was bd. Smelled as if they put the raw meat in microwave to defrost. Also gave me a section that had was bruised? Don’t think it was spoiled but yea no. Wasn’t going to put that in my mouth. Super disappointed and do not recommend.
Gom Shabu Shabu
Me and some friends went there to eat a while back, and a young Asian guy was subjecting how we needed to eat and what to eat and when. He was assuming that we were going to use the same plate every time we got up to get our food by constantly reminding us to change plates and watching us to make sure we use a new plate.in addition he was putting his hands all over our table and moving our plates without asking us. They have decent food but poor customer services and manmers
Love how most of the sides are buffet. Definitely crave this time to time because it hits the spot.
Hong Ban Jang | 홍반장 스와니 | Korean & Chinese Restaurant | 홍반장
We ordered a set with sweet and sour pork(탕수육) and black bean noodles(짜장면), and we also ordered seafood jjamppong and chicken fried rice. The portions were too much, so I couldn't finish it. There were so many seafood in the jjamppong, so if you're a seafood lover, make sure to visit here. Black bean noodles and chicken fried rice were not good to me.The sweet and sour pork was okay except for the sauce. Radish kimchi is really delicious. Above all, the server was so kind that I ate it happily even if the food wasn’t perfect. I will visit here again tho.
I really love the lunch menu here. It’s cheaper than most places. Their service is fair and the food especially the japchae rice was delicious. The best japchae rice I’ve ever had. I’d prefer the regular jajangmyeon over the ganjajang because it’s more flavorful and sweet. Honestly the jjampong is pretty good too. My complaint is that it gets really busy and it takes a long time for the food to come out. Plus the danmuji isn’t crunchy but very mushy.
