Hop Xing
Came here on Christmas night since most of restaurants were packed or closed. The other location on google map was closed. This new address was not a big restaurant, but the female boss was so welcoming and warm. Also, the food came with a large size (enough for two people) and it served fast. The curry chicken and Singapore noodles were flavorful with a few seasonings. It was not an authentic Chinese restaurant, but we had a lovely experience here.
6 May ‘24 1:30 pm online order wasn’t started until I got there to pick it up. Fried shrimp with pork fried rice and shrimp n broccoli with vegetable fried rice. Lunch price $8.25 each plus tax plus ? total due $18.10. As you can see in the pic, the fried shrimp is nothing more than the shrimp tail with a lot of breading and tasted terrible, nothing like fried shrimp should taste like. Couldn’t eat it. The shrimp n broccoli had 5 real shrimp in it. The broccoli was plentiful. The rice was some overcooked some undercooked, how the heck does that happen? Something gritty was in the food, no idea what that could’ve been. First and last time going to Hop Xing.
