Yummy House
One of the better Chinese places around and we live in Lithonia. The food was a little bland and the crab Rangoon did not have much filling but it was still good. The wait was LONG for walkin, however, I’m not sure if it just took a bit longer to make ours because of the crab Rangoon or what because we only had lo mein and general tsos otherwise. The fried rice seemed fried for two seconds but I’m gonna chalk it up to how busy they were. The egg rolls however were VERY fresh and flavorful. HIGHLY suggest call ahead or order online. They seem to be overwhelmed themselves, it was Friday night, so I would think I would expect it to be busy. However, some of their regulars even mentioned how busy it was so just order online or call ahead.
This was my first time trying yummy house since moving out towards Conyers. Wonton soup is one of my favorite dishes severed at any Chinese restaurant so that was my main item I wanted to try and it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful and the wonton dumplings were really plump and tasty. I also tried the Crab Rangoons and they were ok. Some had no filling and was pretty dried out. I’m a little nervous about trying the fried rice because I’m not a fan of yellow rice being used for fried rice but will update my review when I decide to try something new. The atmosphere is also pretty dark and eerie so they could update that to attract more customers.
Kumo Hibachi & Sushi
We had the love boat for two and it was perfect. The fish was really fresh and tasty and it comes with 3 rolls of your choice. The restaurant was clean (including the bathroom) and the servers were friendly and attentive. We will be back!
In town on work detail from Pennsylvania & for my first ever experience I must say that I truly loved it. The service was A1 👌, employees were great and very respectful. The food was great as I loved every bite. Tomorrow is my birthday so I might end up going back. Only in town until Friday morning so I definitely had to try it out
Kelly's Fusion Express
I'm going to give them a 5 strictly off the portion size. Great portion size.... Plus to get soup .. I would definitely go again... Great service. Alot on the menu.
First time here, tried the Poké bowl very much nervous did not disappoint, the Ramen they were able to customize my spice level came out. Perfect I definitely give this place at five star and will be back by the way when you’re here. Don’t forget to grab your Boba tea.
Thai in the Box
This is my go to place for Thai cruisine. The Chef is exceptional. Living on the eat side we have limited option for great Asian food. Thank God we have this hidden gem in our mist. Try anything. Its all delish. Then finish with the best coconut cake ever! I absoloutely love Thai in The Box!
Quite little place we sat in the back , very well cooked food and delicious.
Wings House At Conyers
They have the best hot wings!!! It has the best flavor and heat and on top of that, They are always so nice it’s my favorite wing spot. Wings be juicy and fat, fries be amazing.
The food is really good, made fresh and to order. The wings are always tasty and well done. The sauce are amazing, the price went up a little but, the combo and drinks offers makes it a little reasonable.
Yuki Teriyaki & Sushi
Service - Wasn’t rude just seemed as though he really didn’t want to be working. We’ve all been there so I’ll give that a pass. Food - Sushi was okay, felt like it was a smaller portion than I’m used to receiving. Overall good flavor. The fried rice had black specks in it. Dirty grill maybe? I’m not sure. My BFF ate it and said that it was okay just bland. Only had corn and eggs in it. Not the usual vegetable fried rice. Price — Good prices I drove 20 minutes to this spot because I was craving sushi and this had better reviews than the one by my house. Probably wouldn’t care to make that drive again though.
I visit Yuki often. My daughter loves sushi, especially eel sushi. Yuki is a safe sushi place. We've never been sick or disappointed with their food and/or service. The wings are good, too. My favorite is the crab salad, which is a must try.
JD Crawfish New Orleans Seafood
This spot is a mandatory go-to when I visit my family in Conyers, GA. I highly recommend their frog legs, po boys, and all of their seafood dishes. I legitimately don't think you could go wrong trying anything on the menu. They've been in the area for years and for good reason. It's delicious Louisiana cuisine at the same quality that you'd find more towards Atlanta or a major city. A real gem, honestly.
The food is great! Our host was very sweet and very good at her job. My companion got the bass, I got the salmon. Good spices in the Cajun Seasoning, a touch salty but I don't add a lot to anything, so that's on me. She said hers was fabulous, the shrimp was also great, so was the fried okra. Great food!
Peking Restaurant
Nervous to try this place because of the reviews. It was actually pretty good. Ordering online was a breeze, even had some customizations that were accommodated. Order was ready at pick up. Combination platters were a great amount for portion size. The egg roll was crispy on the outside, but a little mushy on the inside. I'll opt for a different side next time I order. The entrée was flavorful. We also ordered the lo mein, the noodles were a little overcooked. They do use yellow rice if you have a preference, but I like the yellow rice. Overall, I'd definitely recommend and try this place again.
I moved here from New England and had a very hard time finding “good” Chinese food. I am so happy that I found this restaurant, even the employees are from NY! Food is the way it should be. Thank you!
Mandarin Garden
The chicken was mushy and didn’t taste great. I was surprised to see the carrots and pease. The noodles weren’t too bad but not what I expected.
While shopping at nearby stores, we decided to give Mandarin Garden a shot. We walked in, clueless about the place, and got a friendly greeting. After reviewing the take-out menu, we settled on two orders of Sesame Chicken—one with fried rice and the other with white rice. The person taking our order mentioned that the food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Setting a timer on my phone, we walked to another nearby store and returned right on time. As promised, the food was ready when we arrived. We packed everything up and headed home. The food itself turned out to be good, though, in my opinion, it tasted more like Sweet and Sour Chicken than Sesame Chicken. One positive note was that the chicken actually tasted like real chunks of chicken breast and wasn't drowned in breading. Overall, the food and service were good. 3.5
Main Moon
The most disgusting food ever. There was literally a whole feather on my wing, and multiple hairs sticking out of the chicken. They need to sell better quality chicken. I am really disappointed in this. Idk how they could sell this to anyone.
DO NOT EAT HERE. I REPEAT. Poor customer service. The food was absolutely disgusting. Everything tasted stale and poorly prepared, and the presentation was unappetizing. For the ridiculous prices they charge, I expected something at least edible. Instead, I left feeling ripped off and sick to my stomach I had to throw away the food. If you're thinking about eating here, save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. This place is a total waste of time and money. BAD FOR YOUR HEALTH.
Panda Express
I recently visited Panda Express and had a mixed experience. The food was decent, but I would rate it a 7 out of 10. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste fresh and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The restaurant was quite busy during my visit, which may have contributed to the food quality. The staff appeared overwhelmed and struggled to keep up with the customer demand. Overall, I’m not sure if I would return, as the experience left me wanting more.
Got home after waiting in a long line. Lots of traffic out there. And my plate is missing a whole side! I spent close to 80$ tonight at panda purchasing dinner for my family. Really disappointed that my plate was missing a side. On the other hand they're friendly every time I've gone in picking up other orders.
China House
The worst Singapore I’ve ever ordered. Singapore’s main spice is curry, turning the dish a deep yellow color. This item was on the pricey side and had absolutely no flavor. I had one bite and it tasted like hot water.
Enough is enough. This will be my final order and I encourage others to not waste your money. The food is extremely overpriced. You’ll never get enough meat to justify the price.. you’ll get sauce and onions. My crab rangoons were fried extremely hard, almost as if they had been double fried. Another indication was that the crab rangoon was dry on the inside. First time for everything right? The sweet and sour sauce is actually what sent me over the edge. It is simply red colored water. It’s so watered down and in the smallest container possible. Meanwhile there are other restaurants in the area that give you more sauce than you need and the rangoon for $5. They are proudly charging $9. Therefore I’m struggling to understand why this restaurant is cutting the sauce with THAT much water. You won’t get another dime out of me for that display of sheer greed. I will let everyone I know to go elsewhere. Please listen to the reviews and just find a place that’s going to respect you and your money. Also if you want to try multiple dishes, this is not the spot. Let’s say you’d like Mongolian beef and sesame chicken with lo mein. You have to buy each item separately. $18 for the Mongolian beef, $17 for the sesame chicken, and another $17 for the shrimp lo mein. That’s $52 before tax. No appetizer. No drink. One person. You're not getting massive portions so it just feels like a cash grab. It makes me feel like they only care about profit and not the product they are pushing out. You’d think my simple request for WHITE RICE would be easy to fulfill, however they always give me a container of “fried” rice which is just the rice soaked in soy sauce. The woman on the phone reassured me that I would actually be getting the white rice but to my dismay I received the “fried” rice. The inability to provide me with white rice leads me to believe that just have massive batches of the soy sauce seasoned rice premade and they are just heating and stuffing to order. Attached are pictures that clearly show the double fried rangoon tasting of old oil and crumbled dry cream cheese. Tell me if you can see any crab. You can also observe the water sauce, which I did my best to highlight. I dipped a corner of the rangoon inside and the water sauce slipped off leaving a slight red tent. I included what they are referring to as “fried rice.” There are also pictures of the Mongolian beef. One with how it looks upon receiving, notice the unnecessary amount of onions. I suspect these act as some sort of “filler.” Do not be fooled! The last picture is how much meat was actually in the container. Again, notice the copious amount of onions. $18 for Mongolian ONIONS with beef. Didn’t get the rice I wanted and the CREAM CHEESE rangoons were inedible. My meal cost roughly $32 for what you see in the pictures. TLTR Disgustingly greedy and cutting corner type practices, mediocre food, with a 5 star price tag.
