Izumi Asian Bistro Cumming
It was my first time here and my overall experience was great. The restaurant is designed in two parts where one side is very bright with large windows and the other side more dim and casual. I ordered Shirmp Pad Thai and my wife had the Ahi Poke Tuna. Both tasted great but the Tuna was exceptional. The prices are reasonable and their menu has a large variety of choices. A mixture of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese.
This is a great place to come with family. They have an excellent selection of sushi, and we have been here 3 times still exploring the sushi options. What we also loved is that they have a vegetarian menu. Their salt and ppepper tofu are absolutely delicious. The best part was that they had some unique vegetarian sushi that my vegetarian friend could enjoy.
Wings 101
The menu is different. My wife arrived before me and ordered fish and chicken fried rice for me. I wouldn't have ordered that but I am glad she did. It was good as was everything else. Service was quite slow (but pleasant) and the atmosphere was only fine, but the food made up for it.
I love the wings there and I come quite often but the last time I went 4/04 Friday, one of the staff were staring me down and looked and acted like she did not like her job at all when she took my order. I got my order which came out super fast I didn’t even have time to look at my receipt! Later on she goes and cleans up the place but slams the plates together really loudly and when shes sweeping shes shoving the broom against the wall and booth which shook the chair I was sitting on. It made it super uncomfortable to enjoy my meal. I will be doing take out from now on…
Kumo Sushi & Ramen
We had the crab rangoons, double shrimp roll (pictured), godzilla roll, & spider roll. All of them tasted amazing and fresh. Got strawberry and mango boba afterwards which was also really good. The staff was very friendly. Service was fast.
The sushi dinner is amazing. The salmon melts in your mouth. The tuna is so delicious. I have no idea what the others are called, but they’re also delicious. I’ve had 3 types of ramen here: tonkotsu, spicy tonkotsu, and Kumo house special. All 3 are amazing, but my favorite is the house special. The brown sugar boba is delicious. And the desserts are wonderful as well. The service is wonderful here. 10/10 restaurant. It’s one of my favorites. I would include a picture, but I forget to take one every time because I’m so excited to eat my food. Edit: I got a picture this time!! Delicious as always!!
Kani House - Cumming
Kano House in Cumming, Georgia, offers a good ambience and service, but the food quality could use some improvement. During our visit, we had hibachi, and unfortunately, the vegetables were burnt, and the chicken was overcooked. We also tried sushi, which was decent but not exceptional. While the overall dining experience was pleasant due to the atmosphere and service, the quality of the hibachi needs attention.
The food was good, but was totally disappointed with the service we received. The server who was appointed for us was in such a rush, he did not even take the complete order. Always missed atleast one of the orders. We did order rose tea at the start of the dinner and only got to know that it was unavailable at the end of the meal. Overall a disappointing experience.
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
The melted cheese for the steamed broccoli was atrocious, the onion rings could have been cooked a little better but they were okay, I loved the steamed carrots staff were really nice
It was my first time at this location! It did not disappoint! Everything from the food to the service was outstanding!
Royal Chopstix Irving
I had high expectations. Came here hoping to get the corner style Chinese food, like you would get in Philly or NYC, and this was not it. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, but I was disappointed. The chicken, pork, and beef in all my dishes were sliced super thin, it was almost shredded. The fried rice was on the blander side. I had high hopes for the lo mein, but I think they cooked it too much that the noodles started breaking, and oddly, there were eggs in it, which was weird. The fried chicken were battered style, not bad, but not what I was expecting. 2 soups, 3 entrees = $55
This restaurant is hands down my go-to spot for the best Chinese fried rice ever! Every bite is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and just the right balance of ingredients. No matter how many times I come here, the food is consistently amazing. But what really sets this place apart is the outstanding service! The staff (CK) is beyond friendly—always welcoming, attentive, and making sure you have the best dining experience possible. You can tell they truly care about their customers, which makes every visit feel special. If you’re looking for incredible food and top-notch service, this is the place to be. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves delicious, high-quality Chinese food. I’ll definitely keep coming back! 🔥🍚🥢
Panda Express
Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service at Panda Express I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Panda Express that left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Last month, I visited the restaurant and placed an order for two meals, each with two entrees. Unfortunately, one of the entrees for one of my orders wasn't ready, so I was asked to wait. After finally receiving my food and returning home, I discovered that instead of the two entrees I had ordered, I only received one. Immediately, I attempted to contact the restaurant multiple times to address the issue, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Determined to resolve the matter, I waited until my next visit to Panda Express, which happened to be yesterday. I took along photographic evidence of the incomplete order to share with the staff. Upon explaining the situation to the cashier, she seemed confused and sought assistance from a manager named Amy. However, instead of addressing the issue with professionalism and empathy, Amy rudely dismissed my concerns, stating that I should have continued calling until someone answered. Her response left me feeling insulted and belittled, as if my efforts to resolve the matter were inconsequential. Despite providing photographic evidence of the incomplete order, Amy showed no willingness to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation. Her dismissive attitude and lack of empathy towards a paying customer were extremely disappointing. Overall, my experience at Panda Express was marred by poor customer service and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. It's disheartening to be treated with such disrespect and indifference, especially when attempting to address a genuine issue with my order. I sincerely hope that the management at Panda Express takes steps to improve their customer service and ensure that no other patrons are subjected to similar treatment in the future.
Food quality is hit or miss but recently it seems more consistent on the good side. I usually just get a small entree box to go, sweetfire chicken cause it's got sweet and heat and a few onions peppers and pineapple chunks... its a really good snack but it would be too much of a good thing for meal. Anyway I order on the app when leaving a neighboring store and they always have it ready quick, shout out for that! Anyway when Panda is good, hot and fresh, it's very good... but when you get something that sat around a minute you can tell right off. As I said lately its been pretty good, sure was today... yum!
Hong Kong Restaurant
Pretty good food. Clean. Nothing special, just average. Although there isn't a ton of variety and it's a pretty small place. A little pricey.
Ive been to a lot of buffets and this place by far has the BEST crawfish. If you ask for something to be restocked, they’re usually really good about restocking it. They change things up every now and then with a few different buffet options, and they also offer hot tea. Its around $15.50 a person. A small and simple place.
