Reasonable menu size that encompasses a lot of different tastes and wants. The ambiance is wonderful, with pleasant seating and wonderful lighting and decor. There's a good drink menu. I had the green curry with tofu, and my partner had crispy basil duck. He had a beer and I had the house Pinot. The dishes were served with rice. The meals were incredible, incredibly rich, well balanced flavors. The portion was larger than I could eat for one meal. The rice was fluffy and fragrant. It was a lovely anniversary meal. The mango sticky rice was incredible.

Tani Thai - Downtown Buford, GA Ok, let's end the week strong with another favorite… Tani Thai in downtown Buford. As always, you already know I’m going for my Pad See Ew noodles, and they are great. The noodles here are special—they never miss anytime I go back. My buddy Ben introduced me to this spot some years back, and his favorite drunken noodles are from here. The appetizers and available menu items are good, but what really sets Tani Thai apart, in my opinion, is the setting and ambiance. If you’re looking for a nice place for a date with great menu options, excellent service, tasty food, and prices that won’t break the bank, Tani Thai is a top contender. Generous amount of food on 1 plate, reasonably priced. What else can a guy ask for? 😁

Found 2 long blonde hairs in my rice and my hair is black. I am upset and I will never eat there again. I got nauseous thinking about the roots of those hairs in my mouth. I threw out the whole thing. The staff was cool but u guys should wear hair nets in the back whosoever is cooking. 😡

It has been a long time since I've been here. Food was surprisingly good. Service was bit slow due to understaffed, but they were trying. Place need some love and care. Really outdated. Other than the food, it needs some improvement.

Went in for hibachi/sushi. I have a medical and cardiac service dog. At first they told me no I couldn't bring her but after pointing out their own sign that stated she was welcome. They let us in. They did even apologize, Which I do appreciate I just wish the situation didn't happen in the first place. Food was delicious. Staff was otherwise great

This Korean restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever had. I tried the chicken fried rice, kimchi udon, ily ramen, and soy garlic wings. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were huge. I could easily share each dish with someone else. The staff was very friendly and we got our food quickly, even though the restaurant was packed. I’ll definitely be going back!

As mentioned by many others the portions are large and the food is very tasty. Authentic Korean without having to go to a Korean BBQ. Limited seating so get there on time!

Love this spot! I come here every once in a while this time I ordered Lunch portion of Thai spicy chicken and my husband had Mongolian beef both dishes were very tasty. The spicy Thai chicken can be ordered with shrimp. And they also have Mongolian chicken. I've been coming here for years and I have yet to have a bad experience even with takeout my food has been hot, fresh, and delicious 😋 I hope that never changes 🤩

We had a very nice meal and great service. We seated promptly and taken care quickly. Everything we was good and seemed not to be too expensive even with the current state of things. The serving size was large and food was well cooked. The dining room was clean and well decorated. No dirty dishes on empty tables.

Golden Phoenix

We're so glad this place has reopened for dine in AND it's under new management!!!! You'll find a great mix of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese food. We had to sample them all. The bahn mi is fantastic. The bun has a wonderful crust and is tender on the inside. I had the pork. It was sweet and spicy and yummy. I love nam sod. They had larb gai which was close enough for me. It was just spicey enough and a great way to start our meal. The server recommended the Vietnamese house vermicelli. OMG! It was out of this world. Order this. You will not be disappointed. I also ordered the spicy basil noodles and Mongolian beef. Two standards and they were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant. They do take out as well.

I'm not sure why their sign outside says Chinese and Thai Cuisine but it has a whole bunch of viet dishes on their menu. My husband had pho and he said it's one of the best pho he had, didn't need much of their sirarcha or hoisin sauce. Recommend their chicken wings, my youngest love it so much she wanted me to order more! There was two people working in the front. I would say the young lady was more attentive than the young guy to our needs.

The Halal Guys

The Halal Guys served up traditional Middle Eastern fare. We opted for the chicken and spicy chicken combo. The portions were generous, brimming with vegetables, giving it a healthy appeal. While my daughter couldn't finish her meal, I managed to polish mine off. The only downside was the interior being excessively warm, which made me slightly uncomfortable. Apparently, their air conditioning system was out of order.

Came here for some lunch and ordered the falafel and chicken plate. It came with rice, lettuce, tomato, and pita. Overall, the food was alright and the falafel was pretty good. Got a side of fries and the seasoning was not spread evenly amongst the fries. They also lacked flavor which was disappointing. The interior was nice and clean.

Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

I was curious to see how this chicken tender restaurant was like so I went here for dinner. The inside was bustling with many customers. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender combo that came with fries, toast and a drink. Service was good for the most part. As for the tenders, they were breaded well and juicy with a seasoning that was similar to fried chicken which made it stand out from other chicken tender eateries I’ve been to. The side items were alright nothing extra to add. I did found it nice that they had memorabilia on the wall of the City of Buford and its notable accomplishments. Overall a nice experience.

Chicken is crisp and moist on the inside. Fries were good. The coleslaw was good. Had the three pice finger dinner. Comes with a drink for $10.99. The bread is really good. Definitely fast food and the place is packed. The parking is tricky due to the long drive through lines. We did get a table inside.

FRIENDS BUFORD GRILL

823reviews

We go to Friends Buford all the time. The owner Bruce is a super nice guy and is always in the kitchen. Amanda the bar tender is super fun and always there so you feel like family when you drop in for a drink. We have never had any issues with the service or quality of the food. My favorite dishes are the Pimento Cheese Wontons, Trash Talk Nachos, and of coarse the signature House wings which are a house made cajun dry rub that is to DIE for. That combined with their epic ranch dipping sauce and its a winner winner chicken dinner. My wife always gets the buffalo blue cheese wrap and she loves it. Also you can get fries or tots, but we love the tots like Napoleon Dynamite!

I usually don't care to write bad reviews, but it seems every time someone I know comes here there's an issue. Yesterday I had a burger and there were large pieces of paper attached to the patty. We waited over 20 minutes for our server to come back over after eating when she had plenty of opportunities to check back by. I felt sick all night afterwords which put a damper on the plans we had. It would be a good place if there were higher standards.

Nagoya Japanese Steak House

Food is flavorful small steak pieces with sweet sauce. Yum Yum sauce is delicious. Would get for a healthy meal Probably will stick with my classic steak fried rice place. No eggs can be added to fried rice.

I love it! Very friendly and the food is delicious, they served a great amount for the amazing price. Try the house sauce!

VeGreen Noodle

For not being a vegan I did enjoy VeGreen. They do a wonderful job taking many classic Asian dishes and using very flavorful meat substitutes. The place itself is very clean and the service was friendly and welcoming. You do not have to be vegan to enjoy it, so give it a try when around the Mall of Georgia.

Truly blown away by this vegan hidden gem! I didn't realize all they're sushi is also VEGAN. I haven't had Mongolian beef since being vegan (8 years) and the flavor was just like I remembered😭😍 Also the girl working gave us a complimentary vegan dessert that we didnt expect! We had a positive experince & cant wait to visit again to try more 😂 I highly recommend this place 🌱

I can't believe we have overlooked this place since moving here in 2020! This is hands down the best hibachi to go! The food is very delicious, you get a huge portion, they give you extra sauces and it's a good price for what you get. This is our new regular spot.

Food was terrible compared to the last owners. They sold the business to a chef who can't cook and a cashier who acts like we need her. I will never step foot in there again. Please take your money and tastebuds elsewhere. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
