Canton Cooks
Dinner for five was nice. Staff were friendly and service was good. We tried an assortment of dishes and they were all a step above what I was accustomed to. Menu prices were above what I am used to paying as well. When paying the check I could not understand why the cost of this meal was so much more than I anticipated. I paid, leaving what I considered to be a very nice tip for the server. Later on, I looked and then saw in small print on the bottom of the check an additional service charge of twenty percent had been added! I was not told, nor did I see anything about this fleecing on the menu. Including this "service charge" my tip amounted to about 35%. That leaves a bad bad taste long after remembering a good meal. For this reason alone I would not return to this Canton Cooks.
When I visited, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was okay, though the duck was a bit bland. It’s a little pricey for what you get, in my opinion. Not bad, but I probably wouldn’t make it a regular spot.
Thai Restaurant Sandy Springs
I recently dined at a Thai restaurant in Sandy Springs that boasted a very traditional atmosphere, which set my expectations high for an authentic culinary experience. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the ambiance. I started with the Tom Kha Gai soup, and I was quite disappointed. The flavor was lacking, and the soup itself tasted very watery, falling short of the rich, aromatic profile that I anticipated from a traditional Thai dish. On a brighter note, I did have the Penang Curry, which was much better. The flavors were more robust, and it showed promise. However, I believe they need to focus on using fresh ingredients consistently. The chicken in the curry was tough, which was unexpected for a place that seemed to pride itself on quality. Overall, while the restaurant has a lovely traditional feel, the food did not meet my expectations. I hope they can improve their dishes, particularly the Tom Kha Gai soup and the quality of the ingredients in their curries, to truly reflect the charm of the place. Wonderful little Thai restaurant. Relaxed, friendly and feels authentic. I branched out and tried the Thai spaghetti for lunch and it was delicious!! Edit: they do close from 2-4pm but they say Google won't update their hours

The food is DELICIOUS! Best Indian food I’ve had in a while! The butter chicken and mango lassi are to die for! We felt so welcome and they helped explain all the different options to us. Anas gave great recommendations and it was really cool to hear about their culture! My fiancé and I came in as new customers to try the food and decided to cater them for our wedding! They have been so great to work with so far!
Place is nice with good food. Service was fast and tasted good . Tried Paneer items and all tasted delicious. My wife tried Veg Fried rice after many years and she loved it. They have Kwality Ice cream next door and all are egglesss they tasted awesome and not too sugary and are rich.
