We spent part of our date weekend celebrating two amazing months together at Poor Calvin’s, and as always, it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone—elegant, cozy, and just the right level of energy for a romantic evening. The customer service was top-tier. Every interaction with the staff felt warm and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in making each visit special. Now let’s talk about the drinks—crafted to perfection. The cocktail menu is creative, and everything we ordered had that perfect balance of flavor and presentation. Each sip felt like a celebration. And the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. You can taste the thought and quality in every bite. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, the consistency is what keeps you coming back. Poor Calvin’s never misses. It was the perfect spot to mark a meaningful moment with someone special. Highly recommend for date nights, anniversaries, or just when you want to treat yourself to an experience that feels effortlessly elevated.

This was the best Asian fusion I’ve ever had. Ashley was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and how she explained items were high class. The food was unforgettable. However, Ashley made the experience one not to forget. I will never forget my trip to Atlanta because of the visit to Poor Calvin.

Stopped here while walking the Beltline for some appetizers. It was mid afternoon and there were a decent number of people in there. The food was very good, we had the spring rolls, cheese rolls and moo ping (pork) and Thai teas. All were very delicious. However the portions were a bit small. You only get 3 pieces of pork, 3 spring rolls, or 2 cheese rolls which is only a few for the $8+ price each. I probably wouldn’t get them again unless they gave you 4 or more. We will be coming back, however, to try the main dishes as they looked and smelled amazing .

I absolutely adore this restaurant; the culinary delights are truly remarkable! I walked in intending to savor some Thai fried rice, but I couldn't resist indulging in a selection of delectable appetizers that left me pleasantly stuffed. The atmosphere is inviting, with a charming and cozy decor that creates a perfect backdrop for an enjoyable meal. The staff is not only attentive but also exudes warmth, enhancing the overall experience. This place is ideal for a lovely afternoon date or a romantic dinner, making any occasion feel special.

EDIT: Tried them again. They sent BURNT egg rolls out the door. Never again. The chicken (cats) and broccoli was pretty good if you don't focus on the fact that there is no way this meat is chicken. The lo mein was gross! Totally stuck together and dried out. The spring rolls were OKAY. If I hadn't gotten the 40% off plus 2 for one - I would have been mad. Most of these Chinese places are horrible.

I ordered on Ubereats, my delivery was great and the food tastes good but when I called the restaurant trying to change the rice on my order the lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and not willing to help at all. She told me it was already made but of course the restaurant always has the white rice already made it could have easily been switched out for fried rice. I ordered the black pepper chicken dinner combo, it came with chicken and corn soup which that is the only thing that’s not good.

During my visit to Su's, I was greeted by a welcoming ambiance and amiable staff. A staff member suggested the spicy beef bowl, a recommendation I found delightful. The establishment's exceptional customer service and cleanliness guarantee my future patronage, and I am inclined to share this positive experience with my friends. Moreover, the fact that everything is prepared in-house further enhances my appreciation for this restaurant.

there were a lot of positive reviews, so I am surprised by the soupy mess that is my dinner. I ordered triple delight and it is just swimming in sauce, the shrimp are TINY, the vegetables are overcooked, and it's full of cabbage. The egg drop soup is also really bad and that is HARD to mess up. I was hoping to find a great late night Chinese place and this is not that.

Picked up some take out from Pagoda. The food is wonderful, the sesame chicken and pot stickers were delicious! Really generous portions for the cost, will definitely be returning (:

Very good Chinese food and honestly the best in Midtown and the best prices. I have been calling for a month straight with no answer and I even went to the location but no sign or anything insisting that they have closed. They are notorious for leaving for an extended amount of time and returning weeks later. Hopefully they are just gone and will be back soon like always. I WILL NOT eat at the China Garden down the street because their food is absolutely disgusting. So I guess I will have to play the waiting game to see if they come back 🤞🏼
