Asian Chao
This Asian food was located at concourse D. It smelled so good through the concourse, but their food was not good as Panda Express. The chicken was grilled freshly but tasted a little thick with too much sweet sauce. The spicy tofu and Lo Mein tasted great. Their food was flavorful but with too much oil. The service could be faster and fortune cookies were broken.
Service is fast and employees are nice. 2 entree plate with upcharge to low mein/fried rice is $15. Meat was a little dry but overall pretty good. Large portions. Also have vegetarian options: spicy Tofu and steamed vegetables.
Pei Wei Asian Diner
I ordered the bowl of wonton soup and two pork spring rolls. Service was quick. The food was okay. Not a ton of flavor, but it did the job. The sorting rolls were crunchy and hot.
International terminal has the worlds food options of major airport anywhere. Non existent service, poor attitudes, long wait times at all vendors including Starbucks 30 minutes for a latte (on 2 visits within one week). - even when there are no other customers. ATL needs to up their service game. If you want to try bland Asian food featuring rubber chicken, stop at Pei Mei.
Leeann Chin
So I’m in between C and D terminals on my trip, so I check out the Asian options. Leeann Chin was a convenient option so I decided to stop here. I look it up on Google and I see a 1.9 avg rating (as of 4/13/25) and think there’s no way this could be that low considering its location. Well, I’d give it a 2.5. It’s not terrible, but not great. Is it food? Yes. Edible? Yes. Flavors? Not great. The chicken options I got were all just heavily sauced, it just tasted like whatever sauce that seeped into the crispy coating of the chicken bits and made them just all mushy. Between orange and sesame, the only visible difference I could see was sesame seeds. They tasted exactly the same. Edit: 30 min after finishing, the indigestion is setting it. Would not recommend. Changing to 2 star. The lo mein noodles were also just meh. Very oily. Would have like maybe a little more veggies stir fried into them. If you’re looking for Asian cuisine in ATL, this is a convenient location being in the middle of C but there has to be better options.
Worst Airport experience. Airport authority should instantly suspend their food license. How can anyone be so irresponsible about airport travellers health. They are selling NOT FULLY COOKED rice. Its disgusting. When we approached to them telling the rice is uncooked, they lady on the counter was like, “well i can’t do anything about that.” Being a grown woman that kind of response is very pathetic.
