Bao Gogo
We came was first day open. I order mengolian beef. Food was very tasty and fast .Very clean and new. Staffs were very nice and friendly. Monday-Friday have lunch special $11.I will come back to try it.
Gently pick one up, and you’ll feel the perfect elasticity of the wrapper. Carefully bite into it, and a burst of scalding, fragrant broth rushes out, carrying the sweetness of pork and the subtle warmth of ginger. Time seems to stand still—first, a tingling heat dances on the tongue, then the rich, savory-sweet flavors bloom, making you close your eyes in pure delight. The filling is tender yet firm, harmonizing beautifully with the chewy wrapper. A dip in Zhenjiang vinegar adds the perfect tangy contrast, cutting through the richness and leaving you craving more. The crab roe xiaolongbao is pure magic. As you pierce the thin skin, golden crab oil oozes out, mingling seamlessly with the pork’s umami. Made with real crab meat, each bite carries the sweetness of autumn’s finest harvest, as if the essence of the season is wrapped within. Paired with the house’s ginger-infused vinegar, it balances richness with brightness, leaving an unforgettable aftertaste. For a surprising twist, the truffle xiaolongbao offers an elegant fusion. The earthy aroma of black truffle melds unexpectedly well with the traditional broth, creating a luxurious depth of flavor—like a refined waltz on the palate. This East-meets-West innovation preserves the soul of the classic dumpling while giving it a fresh, modern allure. Whether it’s the purity of the original, the indulgence of crab roe, or the novelty of truffle, every xiaolongbao is a masterfully designed flavor revelation. A steaming basket of these dumplings, paired with a pot of delicate tea, makes for the ultimate brunch indulgence. In today’s fast-paced world, slowing down to savor each bite is nothing short of a ritual—a quiet celebration of life’s simple pleasures. Next time you pass by this unassuming shop, step inside. Let the warmth of freshly steamed xiaolongbao fill your belly and soothe your soul. Here, every bite is a tender love letter to life itself.
Poor Calvin's
We spent part of our date weekend celebrating two amazing months together at Poor Calvin’s, and as always, it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone—elegant, cozy, and just the right level of energy for a romantic evening. The customer service was top-tier. Every interaction with the staff felt warm and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they take pride in making each visit special. Now let’s talk about the drinks—crafted to perfection. The cocktail menu is creative, and everything we ordered had that perfect balance of flavor and presentation. Each sip felt like a celebration. And the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. You can taste the thought and quality in every bite. Whether it’s your first visit or your fifth, the consistency is what keeps you coming back. Poor Calvin’s never misses. It was the perfect spot to mark a meaningful moment with someone special. Highly recommend for date nights, anniversaries, or just when you want to treat yourself to an experience that feels effortlessly elevated.
This was the best Asian fusion I’ve ever had. Ashley was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her knowledge of the menu and how she explained items were high class. The food was unforgettable. However, Ashley made the experience one not to forget. I will never forget my trip to Atlanta because of the visit to Poor Calvin.
WIN - Taste of Bali
The food here is excellent! Everything tasted great and the portions were just right. I went with a friend who is from Indonesia and she said it's authentic. While the food was a bit pricey, the staff was very polite and attentive.
I love this place! Great atmosphere, curious and fast wait stuff. Wonderful place to gather with friends and family for an amazing dining experience. The food was amazing. The beef rendang is better than my mom's, who was born in Indonesia. Food is delicious, fresh with a beautiful presentation. A must when visiting the Atlanta area. We will definitely be back
Bangkok Thai Restaurant
Stopped here while walking the Beltline for some appetizers. It was mid afternoon and there were a decent number of people in there. The food was very good, we had the spring rolls, cheese rolls and moo ping (pork) and Thai teas. All were very delicious. However the portions were a bit small. You only get 3 pieces of pork, 3 spring rolls, or 2 cheese rolls which is only a few for the $8+ price each. I probably wouldn’t get them again unless they gave you 4 or more. We will be coming back, however, to try the main dishes as they looked and smelled amazing .
I absolutely adore this restaurant; the culinary delights are truly remarkable! I walked in intending to savor some Thai fried rice, but I couldn't resist indulging in a selection of delectable appetizers that left me pleasantly stuffed. The atmosphere is inviting, with a charming and cozy decor that creates a perfect backdrop for an enjoyable meal. The staff is not only attentive but also exudes warmth, enhancing the overall experience. This place is ideal for a lovely afternoon date or a romantic dinner, making any occasion feel special.
Extreme Teriyaki Grill Express
The service is really fast here probably because of the volume of people that they get but it is efficient. The rice is so good it makes you feel like you just sat and had hibachi. My only issue is if you have a seafood allergy be careful because everything is made on the stove top. My cousin had an allergic reaction because of this so just be mindful.
This spot is amazing for its value. There is obviously good prices but the food was actually good. If you do decide to eat there, be aware that they cook in the open so it does smell a bit like cooking. But otherwise, we’ll be back whenever we want quick Chinese food.
Pacific Rim Bistro
So we check in the hotel and was ready to eat something close and walking distance from us. This restaurant popped up and we loved every bit of it. The staff was nice and friendly and even remade a drink that had an ingredient that I have an allergy to. THE FOOD!!! OMG!!! The Lemon Twist Sushi Roll is one of the best rolls I've ever had. Eat a piece in one bite for the full experience. Im coming back just for that.
The service really stood out here! All of the servers were attentive, refilled the water, and often asked if I needed anything. The food was really good too, especially the calamari. They have some awesome lunch specials that you won’t want to pass up.
Highness Cuisine
A wonderful upscale dining experience with a vibrant nightlife atmosphere. The restaurant features a luxurious ambiance complemented by live DJs and hookah services. Great decor and entertainment. Diverse menu offering Mediterranean, seafood, Curry and more. Great tapas options for Vegan’s, and the daily happy hour is 50 % off food and drinks. Staff's attentiveness and service was top notch. An enjoyable experience, looking forward to returning soon.
Overall the music is great , food was delicious , I bought the special for date night which was 100 with an additional $35 drink because they showed a really nice presentation and once ordered I only received the drink without the nice presentation they promote online. To my opinion you could not taste the the liquor on it and it was 95% ice which to me is not worth the $35 also water is too expensive for just 2 bottles of water and the special drink my bill ended up being $183 we didn’t pay no mind since we were having a good time and service was good but I recommend you ensure you’re paying for the deal you choose . Other than that it’s a nice place :)
China Breeze Underground
I just purchased my usual order that I get when I come downtown shrimp fried rice and sesame chicken.. I got old recooked rice no shrimp and no vegetable in my shrimp fried rice.. just fried rice and scrambled eggs. I don’t have time to go back and correct this.. this is unacceptable!! They have lost me as a customer!
Mongolian chicken is great. Have us fresh noodles and egg rolls. Atmosphere was good and service was on point
Cherry Blossom Atlanta
Food Terminal
This place is pretty amazing. They have a book with all the food they offer, including descriptions and everything you need to make a decision on what to eat. Good luck with that! So many good dishes. Service was on point as well as a pretty nice atmosphere. Parking was validated for 2 hours. We will be back! Our dishes looked like the pics on the menu and was super flavorful!
I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, everything about the experience was really good. I was introduced to this place by work mates for lunch. I came with high hopes and wasn’t disappointed. The seasoning was delicate and complex, the presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was good for a lunch rush.
Dumpling Factory
I tried this place for the first time today. It was awesome! I loved the steamed dumplings & shrimp fried rice. The customer service was amazing. The cashier was so sweet. While I sat to wait on my food, she brought me a small taste of a dish that she shared her sister was teaching her to make. I really appreciated the gesture & it was delicious! Will definitely be back!!
I really really wanted to love this place. It’s located in the heart of west midtown. Plenty of parking. The plaza itself is new and modern but empty to the point that it’s depressing. So knowing it’s run by Chinese, we were hoping for authentic food. What we got is beyond disappointing. All 3 dishes we got were bland no flavor. Dan Dan noodle was simply just cold noodle with cucumber (which they did mention only having cucumber but the fact that it didn’t have any flavor was not informed). The pork and chive dumpling was not fresh, it had a weird taste and smell. We were gonna sit and eat there but the vibe inside the restaurant is a take out vibe with counter service. The business they seemed to have were all through delivery company. It’s safe to say we won’t be back.
China Cafeteria
My lo mein had been sitting a while as it's hot line style Chinese. The fried rice was just ok and the wings also ok.
May have to repeat your order 100 times and make sure they know the difference of chicken and shrimp i asked for shrimp fried rice and get chicken and it wasn't even crowded 12/10/24
