Volcano Asian Bistro
Best Chinese in the area. Super reasonable prices. Dishes are served with fresh veggies and tasty sauces. The staff is friendly. Service is quick Can't beat the lunch special 9.99 - Mongolian chicken with soup, rice and salad lots of seating. plenty of parking. Can't speak to the sushi but lots of interesting rolls- next time!
They generally have specials on Tuesdays for sushi rolls! The place has ample parking and they are located at a great location. Service and food is really good. They have a nice ambience which makes comfortable. The robot severs are just like in Japan. Kids got fascinated by them.
thai squared (alpharetta)
Thai Squared has a clean and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We went as a group of 7 adults and 6 kids for dinner and tried a variety of dishes. I loved all the appetizers and main courses—everything was delicious except for the fried rice. The fried rice had a yellowish color with a strong turmeric essence, which felt unusual to me. The portions are very generous, and their Thai tea was absolutely delightful. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely visit again!
The staff were very welcoming and kept the place very clean. The restaurant has simple decor yet classy. For food we ordered Thai basil fried rice, Drunken noodles and glass noodles tofu soup. Everything was too good in terms of quality and quantity. We requested for spicy but we thought it was a bit sweet not that spicy though. Overall, this restaurant is recommended to visit.
Bang Bang Japanese and Korean Cuisine
I visited Bang Bang once before and thought it was just okay. I wondered why the place was so empty despite its decent setup. Today, I went back, and now I understand why. The restaurant lacks both courtesy and consistency, which makes for a disappointing experience. The fried rice I ordered last time was completely different today, and not in a good way. The low-quality chicken in it was so bad it made me gag. Consistency is key for any restaurant, and they completely missed the mark. The ordering system is another issue. You’re supposed to order on a screen, but if you don’t know what everything is, good luck—there’s nobody around to help. That’s why I played it safe and ordered the same thing as last time. Even something as simple as asking for a slice of lemon for water was met with, “We don’t have it.” Overall, it’s clear why this place struggles to attract customers
I had a great experience at Bang Bang Japanese and Korean Cuisine! The donkatsu was fantastic—perfectly crispy and served in a generous portion. The self-ordering system was convenient and streamlined the process. Since it's self-service, tipping isn't required, which I appreciated, though I did notice the ordering machine still prompts for tips (18%, 20%, etc.). I opted out, but I hope they reconsider including that option, as it feels unnecessary in this setting. Aside from that, the rice seems to be old and not fresh. I barely eat the rice on the plate and I can tell since I am an asian and eat rice everyday.
Sarku Japan
For a quick grab and go meal, this fits the bill. It's cheap, fast, and not that great. The shrimp were tiny and sauced quickly but the rice was definitely marinated well. More places need to let their rice sit for awhile.
I always get the chicken teriyaki with steamed rice which is fabulous at this price point. The chicken is always perfectly cooked, and the sauce just gets me, you know? Sometimes the vegetables come up a little short in the area of broccoli. Steamed rice is sticky goodness. The vegetable springs rolls are fine, but I can do without them. Their iced tea doesn’t do it for me either. Employees are consistently kind. I’ve tried this place all three ways: delivery, take out, and dine in. Food is excellently packaged for to-go orders. The dining area is sufficient but lacks comfort. It’s a dependable joint to hit when chicken teriyaki is your desire.
Nalan Indian Cuisine
This is a great south Indian restaurant. Food was very authentic, their biryanis are good and shrimp items are delicious. They make Malabar parotta in house and they are very flaky and nice. Their egg curry is delicious. Classifies as decent and towards up scale Indian. Good ambience and restrooms are decent.
The food here is delicious. The appams are perfect - it’s light and fluffy in the middle and crispy outside. The Nalan Special Mutton Chukka Biryani is a must-try. Taking off a star as I always feel extremely dehydrated after eating from here.
Sushi Nami Alpharetta
Top quality chefs and sushi. They’re very nice and the food is amazing.
Sushi Nami continues to be our favorite sushi place! We've been going for 10 years and have always had a great experience, fresh sushi and great service. We especially love sitting at the bar when its just 2 of us and seeing the detail and skill that goes into each order & all the beautiful rolls. They've recently added new rolls, we've enjoyed the ones we've tried so far & look forward to trying the rest soon!

Not only is it that good but it's high in collagen so good for my joints Perfect after a hard leg day. Plus it's right next door to LAFitness The love the music when I come in and the owners are super friendly too! I'm happy to bring them business.
Panda Express
I ordered through the app for pickup before heading to my hotel. I received a notice that my order was ready, but it was not. The lady preparing the food never made eye contact or spoke a single word to me. She handed me my order and walked away. When I got to my hotel room, I opened it to see the pathetic amount of food. It also did not look very fresh. I ordered a big plate... one of which being broccoli beef. I had broccoli with two tiny tiny pieces of beef. Two. Rude staff and disappointing food.
This was my first time coming into this location today. Food was fresh, service was quick and efficient, and the place looked cleaned. I ordered take out before I had to go into work and ate half of my plate there and the other half I later transferred to a bowl to reheat at home. However, it was very upsetting to find a piece of CHIPPED BRICK or a clay rock in it when I ate the other half at home. Thank goodness I didn’t bite hard on it, otherwise I would have damaged my teeth.
Hai Authentic Chinese
Offers variety of Chinese cuisine and taste is okay to good. They have lunch options and it is not that pricey. You can try once for sure if you like Chinese food!
Very disappointing. I came to look for an authentic Chinese food. I told the waiter to give me half Peking duck. After few minutes, the waiter gave me less than half. I asked if the order is right because I’m looking for my favorite part, the wing and the neck, and it’s missing. I tasted and ate and it’s crispy but not much marinated. Once again, I asked the waiter if I ordered it right for a hefty price. Again, they said yes. I did it for the third time for them to understand that there’s something wrong with my order. I don’t like people lying to my face. But I gave them a chance to correct their services three times. One waiter admitted their chicken is very small. Only the picture in front of the restaurant is big, but they have me like a one-fourth size for an expensive price. That’s very deceptive. I already told the waiter that Peking duck is my favorite. But they messed up. That’s not the right way to treat a customer. Certainly, not coming back. Very disappointing experience.
