Sun Shine II Chinese Restaurant
Love this place, it’s one of my favorites spots to get takeout when I’m in town! My family and I have even had it for our Christmas dinner a couple of times. I had Orange Beef for the first time from Sun Shine and now it’s one of my favorite dishes. Other highlights are the Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and the NY-style Fried Rice which they can modify to your liking.
I am so happy that I found this take out restaurant! As someone originally from Hong Kong, I can say that their food brings back memories of authentic Cantonese flavors, even though it's slightly Americanized. I ordered House Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef, and mixed vegetable. And I especially love their House Fried Rice! The meat is tender and juicy, the rice has the perfect texture, and it boasts that desirable wok-charred flavor without being overly greasy. I think this is the best fried rice I’ve had in town! The Mongolian Beef and Mixed Vegetables are also top-notch. Both dishes are seasoned just right, with a savory depth that pairs perfectly with the rice. I am very surprised and delighted by the quality of the food here. Sun Shine II has truly exceeded my expectations and is now my go-to spot for delicious Cantonese take-out. Highly recommended!
Sichuan House - 老四川 (老字号)
Friendly Staff, Quick Service, and Delicious Food! I’m a regular at this Sichuan House, and I can’t get enough of it! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the family that owns it always suggests the best dishes. The food is impeccable—I highly recommend the eggplant in garlic sauce and the pork in plum sauce. The ambience feels like home, and they have a great selection of Chinese beers and teas. If only my stomach had more room—I’d eat here every day! 😊
We had a wonderful experience here! The waiter provided great recommendations for what to order, and the food turned out amazing. Sichuan cuisine is known for its bold flavors and spiciness, and this place did not disappoint. The service was attentive, and while it is a bit pricey, the delicious food and excellent service make it worth it. I’ll definitely return and recommend it to others!
Madras Chettinaad
Been here multiple times and one of my favorite Indian restaurants in and around Atlanta. They are the only Indian restaurant serving lunch buffet. Cost in weekdays is $15.99. It’s worth the price. Most of the dishes are good and served fresh from 11:45am onwards. Go early to grab good seat and fresh food. Chicken biriyani was delicious, chicken tandoori, and some veg dishes were delicious 😋. Curd rice with pickles were delicious too. In desert only the mango/fruit custard was good and the other deserts were bad. The senior guy in the entrance when we entered to get a seat, he was very rude and arrogant. I’m sure he must be going through something sad/bad but not to show his terrible attitude towards customers 🤦🏽♂️.
I was looking for an Indian buffet near me, and this one hit the spot. I’m definitely coming back again for all of the great vegetarian options, delicious chicken, and endless vegetable samosas. Tons of great options and for $16 you really can’t beat it.
Inchin's Bamboo Garden
Very enjoyable food, plenty of vegetarian options, and the mild is actually mild! Pretty good service, fireside tables available
Provably the best indo-Chinese place in Atlanta area. Their Gobi- Manchurian and burnt garlic fried rice is india like. We also tried shezuwan fried rice which was good but has a tangy taste to it more like ketchup wouldn't recommend that Also their manchow soup is one of the best
