Mandarin Express
Their food is decent for a quick bite at the mall. The food looks amazing, is always hot and fresh, but not that flavorful. I got the firecracker Mongolian chicken and lo mein noodles,”. The firecracker chicken isn’t spicy at all
If I could put negative stars I would. This place gave me horrid experience. The portions were tiny. I asked respectfully to put a little more lo mein, but the lady put only 2 noodles more. The food was dry and no flavour, you can only taste bread. I felt really sick after eating in this particular place.
Sarku Japan
Visiting Sarku Japan is nothing short of an emotional experience, one that touches the soul with every bite. From the moment you walk past you’re greeted not just by the sizzling sounds. There’s something magical about the way they transform simple ingredients—tender shrimp, crisp vegetables, savory beef—into a symphony of flavors that dances on your tongue. The teriyaki meals, in particular, is nothing less than a revelation. The sauce is a perfect balance of flavors, coating each piece of meat in a glossy sheen that glistens under the light. The beef itself is incredibly juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection—every bite an explosion of flavor. The shrimp is another masterpiece. Plump, perfectly cooked shrimp with just the right amount of seasoning, paired with the fried rice that is delicate yet satisfying. The rice has a delightful smokiness, and every forkful feels like a comforting embrace. Sarku Japan is the medicine nay the cure to any sorrow or impairment. The workers although quite never fail to make me feel loved. Their mysterious presence aids the soul. Their smiles make me feel loved like a mother’s embrace. Sarku Japan you’ve done it again.
On a Thu evening (Oct 2022), the mall was so empty. They had 3 employees staffed (seemed to be over staffed) with one employee just handing out at the front of the store wiping the counters. There were very few customers at the whole food court . I hope they get most business on weekends otherwise I don't see how a business can survive with 3 staff and barely any customers. Current price for the Chicken Teriyaki special is at $8.69 (the box size was much smaller than years ago). Good food, quick service. Will return!
